BubblemanWelcome to Hash Church, everyone. This is Bubble Man, your host. And, well, thanks for being here. This is our fourth episode of Hash Church. And well, I'm just darn excited to have another one of this, of these sort of events with you guys. It's been very popular. Everyone's been very receptive to it. We've got a great group of guys in the chat right now. We've got Balraj Sanghera, we've got Tommy L, Saif Khan, Rob Payne, Johnny Burfellow, Krotmo, Dark Mata, Blocke.
BubblemanWe've got a whole group of guys in here. So I'm going to send out...
SpeakerWelcome to Hash Church, everyone.
BubblemanThis is Bubble Man, your host. I should probably mute that, shouldn't I? Good idea. I thought Johnny B was in the house. So let me send the text to Johnny B. This is sort of how we do. Go start sharing the Google. Hang out and we'll get our peeps in here. And I've got a whole bunch of stuff to talk about today that I'm quite excited about.
BubblemanI'll wait for Johnny B. Let's see who else we got. Maybe Brian Schroeder from D-Nail might make it in today. You never know. I'm going to invite Tony Verzura in again, of course. Horatio, Johnny B., Darren, D420K. Let's see what we got.
BubblemanWe could invite Kirk Toussaint in if he feels the need to come in. I'm just happy to invite everyone in.
BubblemanMe and Horatio are in chat. Oh, excellent. I didn't see them. Hey, Bubble Man or John, do you think mixing the bubble bags when they're stacked together reduces quality as opposed to mixing in the bubble now or whatever? No, I do not think that at all. I think that if you're mixing properly and you're not overdoing it, that bags being inside of one another or not inside of one another are certainly not going to affect you in a negative manner.
BubblemanSend out that link to D420K.
BubblemanAnd I guess it's time for a bowl. Even though I am in my Google Chat alone right now, I feel that we do have 40 people watching, so that's nice.
BubblemanLet's talk about D-Nail. So D-Nail, actually, you know what? We've got to start the day with feeding our endocannabinoid system. So I've got my coconut oil right here, boobabadoop. And because my coconut oil is unsweetened, it's just raw, vegan, organic coconut oil, and infused with hashish, it has a strong taste, you know, definitely has a strong taste, but not as strong as cannabis and still quite enjoyable, so I'm going to start my day with a little bit of coconut oil extract here.
BubblemanNice little spoonful. I'm going to take a couple blueberries.
BubblemanMmm.
SpeakerYummy.
BubblemanGreat way to do it. Great way to start your day by feeding those phytocannabinoids into your endocannabinoid system. Because we know through homeostasis, through the endocannabinoid system that phytocannabinoids help regulate all of our biological functions. So when we go to sleep and when we wake up and when we get hungry, when we're full, all these different things, how well we remember, these are biological functions that... That are very important to us and that if we acquire deficiencies in our endocannabinoid system that we can develop problems, which most of us in life have.
BubblemanNow, nowadays people think it's a miracle when you use cannabis to regulate your system and put it into homeostasis. What do you think about that Horatio? Is it really a miracle or is it just a system that we've been kept from? We didn't know the knowledge.
SpeakerWell, I mean, I think that was the point to add, North America, because I'm like, the knowledge in that system has been around, been in practice, I mean, to the point of having deities forever and a day, but North America is different. We're the last to any parade that's been going on for centuries, so... Yeah, we need a boost and we don't have morning meditation time, so we need a dab to jump us to that space.
SpeakerWho are we talking to? What do you mean who are we talking to? We're talking to each other, John. Sorry. Love you. I was just all screwed up here. I'm sorry.
BubblemanWhat did you think was going on?
SpeakerI've been logged out twice, and I was trying to log back in. Okay.
BubblemanWell, Horatio's talking to 61 viewers that are in the room. Good day, everybody. And we're just doing it up here. I'm going to actually get myself some coconut oil, too. You were just talking about that. All right. You do that up. So, yeah, this is true, Horatio, in regards to the Deedees and the other cultures. Our culture is definitely one that does not, Well, we are the last to the party, in a sense.
BubblemanAnd you know what? That gives me a great sort of leeway into the legend of Hash that I wanted to discuss today with everyone. There's only 61 viewers, but the show is being recorded. So today, I thought I would cover Babu, Babaku. And Babaku is an Afghanistan iconic figure of fun. He's revered for centuries across Persia and northern India, a legendary clown. And the patron saint of charis smokers.
BubblemanSo he's a healer trained in the arts and sciences. Babaku, also spelled Chu, K-H-O, or Q-U, is best remembered as the provider of the best seeds for growing fine charis. Babakoo attracted mystical Islamic Sufi, Dervish, and malign devotees, who gained popular respect as enlightened liberal men of God, as well as medical and spiritual healers. As Babakoo spread Charis culture, he also drank, ate, smoked copious quantities of cannabis.
BubblemanHis favorite method was to enjoy yogic exercise with a large water pipe, which he is credited with inventing, along with friends in the paradise gardens of Balkh Sharif. Babaku's tomb is a place of ancient pilgrimage. Located among ancient Balkh's ruins in northwestern Afghanistan, Balkh, known for its destruction by Genghis Khan as the Mother of Cities, is long associated with colorful figures such as Zora Aster, Alexander the Great, Marco Polo, and the mythical poet Rumi.
BubblemanAnd much of the finest Afghan smoke available in the West came via nearby Mazara-e-Sharif. And throughout turbulent centuries, in peace and at war, Charesis have reverently smoked at Baba Khu's gravesite, a tradition that burns even brighter to this day. So, let us load our bowls and smoke one in respect to the legend of hash, Bubba Coop.
BubblemanAll right. Exciting. You guys are on it. These guys are on. Yeah, exactly. Chris0973. Ha ha. Invented the bomb. Right? How cool is that? Yes, Brian Gilbert, if you send me a Facebook message, I can send you the link. It won't let me link in here, and I don't want to link it publicly, otherwise the whole room fills up with people. I want to privately invite speakers who want to be on camera.
BubblemanI'm looking for sort of articulate, intelligent people that won't interrupt other people while they're talking, tell your story, give us your background or whatever, and we're welcome. There's no... There's no one more special than anyone in Hash Church, so if people want to come in and they've got something to say, just text me on Facebook and I'll Google you up. I'll hit you with the link. All right, there's Thomas Root.
BubblemanLooks like he's coming in. I'll give him the link. And I didn't hit my bowl for Baba Koo, so I'm going to load up this new piece. Horatio got to see it yesterday. This is a brand new piece from D-Nail. This is their Curves. So they've got a little curve guy there, quartz crystal. There's a little bowl on the back side here. This is the dabber. And what you do is you put the dabber inside the hole and it actually carves the hole.
BubblemanSo I've got some full melt sweet skunk dry sift here. I think I'm going to join John and Horatio who are seemingly tough and tough without me. Got my hash rasher. Hash rasher. I love it.
BubblemanThat's the hasher, guys.
BubblemanI'll tell you, the hits off this quartz curve are just phenomenal. You should have got to try your LHO on it yesterday, Horatio, to see if you felt any differences. Not really liking it.
SpeakerI'm going to have to look into it. Every once in a while, that's the thing about the good quartz versus the bad quartz. If you hit up that bad quartz... Like I've done so many times.
BubblemanThey want to know what kind of vaporizer you're hitting out, how you get huge massive hits, and then Mark or John, is it true that you only need a doctor's recommendation and North Health Canada involvement? Yes, it's true. Go ahead, Horatio.
SpeakerThis is just a mech mod for vaporizing vegetable glycerin, because I'm a manic habit type person. If this was the 70s, we'd have cigarettes and I'd be going like this, but those days are dead. So I'm just passing the time, vaping away the glycerin.
BubblemanExcellent. I didn't realize while I was showing the pipe, I stuck the camera on Horatio's camera, so I'm just going to show that one more time. I'll give you guys an idea of the curve on there. The little holes on the other side and the little piece here goes right in the hole and it just, boom.
BubblemanVery cool little unit. Used it for the first time yesterday at Eden. Eden was having a party last night, a 3.5 year anniversary. I guess they had Raekwon there. We were all excited thinking he was going to spit some lyrics. He spit nothing. He sat on a couch and sucked on a, what was that, a shisha pipe?
SpeakerYeah, hookah sticks all night long.
BubblemanYeah, so mildly disappointed, but not really. I went mostly to hang out with my friends.
BubblemanMight have been nice to see. Oh, hey, you know what? The other band that played was quite decent. I don't know what kind.
SpeakerThey were actually good. Right? We had a lot of good time with them, actually, interacting.
BubblemanYeah, they were real nice dudes, I have to say. I mean, we bubbled them up. They came by and dabbed out with us. And then I thought, I always appreciate when I dab out a band. And then they get back on the stage and play a bunch. So they appreciated the CTV dabs for that very reason.
BubblemanYeah, I could get used to this real fast.
BubblemanLooks nice.
SpeakerDefinitely have to come and check it out.
BubblemanYeah, you'll appreciate it, John. It hits like an absolute champ.
SpeakerI'm just going to have to show you guys my view here.
BubblemanAll right. Johnny B in the house with a full whack of hash, still in the rubber containers, but I'm going to give him some oil slicks.
BubblemanWhat do you think of those rubber containers, Horatio, the oil slick rip-offs from China?
SpeakerNot a fan of the colors coming off in your oil. You know what?
BubblemanI haven't seen the color, but what I've felt, I've tasted the rubber in the hash. Now, not on John's hash, I will admit. I have not tasted that in John's hash. But I did paste it in Stu's hash from Manitoba, full melt Stu, and that's why I warned John. I warned you only because, John, you have hash that's as beautiful as it can possibly get, and you're puffing it out of like an epic Ruhr bong, but then you're keeping it in this rubber Chinese compartment.
BubblemanI will give you, I'm a distributor for Oil Slick. Do you realize that?
SpeakerDo you realize how much Oil Slick stuff I have too? It's like, it's everywhere.
BubblemanNo, but we need to get you the bigger square ones that you like. You need to get you the bigger square ones that you like.
SpeakerIt doesn't last that long. I pop pretty hard, so normally it doesn't have time to sit in the containers.
BubblemanYeah, but you're an educator, so when you're educating people and people, I'm totally on board with you.
SpeakerI did some more research on platinum silicon, and I actually started pulling out my torch guys. And I started taking a better look at some of these containers and I was seeing which ones were burning. I have a little pad here. I burnt the color off. So I'm really learning that a lot of these, if they can get red hot, you can't touch them. But the colors of this form, it should not burn.
SpeakerIt should not smoke. It should not disfigure. So after talking to you about that, like this boss one and stuff like that, They're melting, so there are certain ones that we really have to take a look at 100%, Mark.
BubblemanI don't know if you brought that up. It's 99% of them. It's just like ecstasy. Ecstasy is expensive to make, but methamphetamine is inexpensive to make. Silicone is expensive, particular platinum-grade silicone, but rubber is extremely cheap. They just have mountains of it, and so they put it into the containers. Robert. Yeah, that's a rubber one, eh? Yeah. And you can see, guys, it shouldn't smoke. See that?
BubblemanI like the slick ones, too. These little slick ones are good. They're nice silicone. So this is how I've been testing them. Oh, dude.
SpeakerSo you don't have to use these ones.
BubblemanThese are the no-goo. Welcome, Thomas. Morning. How are you, Mark? I'm doing good. If you want to introduce yourself to our almost 100-plus viewers, Johnny B and Horatio, and Hi guys, my name's Thomas.
SpeakerHow's it going? Nice to meet you guys. Let me get you excited, Horatio. Look, I had to wake up really early.
BubblemanHow's it going?
SpeakerOh my god. We were up way too late last night.
BubblemanI know, last night at about 1.30 you actually had a panic attack about how late we were up.
SpeakerI'm like, I got to go home and worry on all these different growth things before I go to sleep and contemplate all these theories. I can't relax.
BubblemanI hear you. Yes, Rob Payne, it is true you only need a recommendation letter with No Health Canada forms. You just go to the doctor and the doctor tells you, gives you the prescription.
BubblemanAnd Brian, Gilbert, I cannot give you a link. I can only give you a link if you private message me on my Facebook page, then I can give you a link.
BubblemanI think I wrote it in the comments too, because that is an important factor. For whatever reason, it doesn't want to let me give the link in the YouTube chat, which is okay by me, because I think that it would be very full in here very fast if I privately put out the links. Welcome, Honfleegle. Where are you at? Are you in Bern? Or maybe you're up in the north near Walhusen.
BubblemanOr maybe you're in the south in like Bellinzona or Lugano.
BubblemanLet us know. We love Switzerland. Yes, get this man an oil slick. It's true. Don't use the knockoffs. They really aren't worth the trouble. In particular, I mean, it probably seems like I'm coming down on John, but John, you're smoking like a 9.3 out of 10 out of a beautiful bong, and then it's in those rubber containers. The ones that you've been burning and smoking.
SpeakerJohnny. I'm getting rid of all my hash now. I'll have it all gone. I'll get new containers. No, no, you keep the hash. I'm smoking it.
BubblemanI'm just going to sit here and puff it on Hash Church. All right, well, I like that. We'll join you. Let's join Johnny B. There's 107 people in the room, and I'm hitting my brand new D-nail. Where's your D-nail, John? Please go pick it up.
SpeakerI will do that, then.
BubblemanI almost grabbed one for you when I was there. There's one there for me now. Nice. There has to be, dude. What are you talking about? I've been waiting for months. It's okay. Yeah, but wait. You could just go there and be like, listen. I just talked to Stu the other day. Hey, how long did I wait for my crystal whip?
SpeakerI know. So we're both waiting for the same thing.
BubblemanWe're waiting. And for those of you that are not in the know, what we are talking about, D-Nail sells these little whips. These are their new packaging actually. This is a special whip. You can see it's a flat element as opposed to one that's stacked on top of one another. And that is for a new custom titanium nail that D-Nail just came out with today. It opens up in the top.
BubblemanNice big reclaimed dish. And then it opens up in the bottom as well where you actually put that round flat element piece. And it's 14-4 on the bottom there. And one thing I like about it is they offset the bowl, the hole. I thought that was kind of cool. A little bit easier for photography and for dabbing in general. So I'll hit that a little bit later on.
BubblemanD-Nail also sent me the new Sapphire insert. This is a little Sapphire insert that will go inside, I believe, this bowl that they sent me.
SpeakerSweet.
BubblemanSo all sorts of fun new things from D-Nail. I also have this little guy going with another whip that they sent me. With another quartz bowl. This one was interesting. It had no ground on it. So it's just smooth glass. And just fits in there real nice. So I'm going to hit all of these today on Hash Church. But, you know. Did you have any cool stories to tell us, Thomas?
BubblemanSomething you wanted to share with the Hash Church crowd?
SpeakerI am an MSK shit.
SpeakerAn MMR patient? I'm a multiple sclerosis patient. I've had multiple sclerosis for about four years now. If it wasn't for this hash, I wouldn't be walking, that's for sure.
BubblemanYes, Jeff Hall, I understand. In fact, I unscrewed the bottom and showed that's where it unscrews. It's very cool. Sorry to interrupt you there, Thomas, but welcome. Oh, you're fine. Story to hear that you're suffering with MS, but happy to hear that you're one of the lucky people that have figured out cannabis can do absolutely beyond incredible work with MS. It's one of the things I think personally should be one of the major human studies that are done in regards to the endocannabinoid systems and the workings of it and how it's working because it's pretty incredible.
BubblemanYears and years and years ago, a good friend of mine by the name of Crash He was a BC Compassion Club patient. He was an extreme MS patient. He had advanced MS by the time he was 25. By the time he was 26, he had full people helping him because he shook so bad all the time. You might remember him from the David Suzuki nature of things, cannabis.
BubblemanThank you for watching.
BubblemanThank you for joining us.
SpeakerI have a six-year-old daughter, and if it wasn't for me feeding my endocannabinoid system, I wouldn't, like I said, I wouldn't ever get out of the bed. I was in the bed all the time, never got out, I was in the dark constantly, and I worked at Home Depot for over ten years as a manager, so from that to bedridden is pretty crazy.
BubblemanSo, Clay, not only is cannabis saving your life, it's saving your daughter's life as well. Exactly. So there it is, folks. Those are the feel-good stories. We hate to hear that Thomas is sick, but we love to hear that Thomas is taking into his own hands his health. And he might be doing everything he can with doctors, but he's also clearly using cannabis to improve the quality of his life.
SpeakerExactly. I'm just going to say I've got a paper here. On a standardized natural product cannabis relieving symptoms of multiple sclerosis and interactive case report. I'm just going to punch it in Google here. You can look it up. It's some interesting information on cannabis and how it's helping people with multiple sclerosis. Yeah, I'd like to read that. That'd be really cool. Thanks, John. Yeah. So let me somehow, if you send me a message, I'll send you this paper.
SpeakerAre you able to, it's not on a link, is it, John? I don't know. This is something that, like, my ex-wife worked with, Ray, and Dr. Matthew Sharman, and we got some papers here that we were working on, so just some good information I should get out there to some people.
BubblemanHow many pages is it?
BubblemanIt's one, two, four pages. Okay, so take a picture of each page with your phone and post it into the endocannabinoid page on Facebook.
SpeakerI will do that for you guys tonight. Yeah, that'd be great. Awesome. Thank you. Thank you, buddy.
BubblemanJohnny B with the solid information. That's why he's here. John has first-hand experience using cannabis as pain relief, as many of you know.
SpeakerYes.
BubblemanJohn fell almost 30 feet, broke a bunch of bones, and, well, you know, just the psychological issues alone that you would face, well, I'm sure much like Thomas had to face psychological issues. Working at Home Depot, having his little girl, and then boom, bam, boom, bedridden, not positive thoughts, unhappiness. Cannabis really, really, really must be like a bright light at the end of a dark tunnel in a situation like that.
BubblemanI can't pretend to have ever had one of those situations, but a couple of the guys in the chat room have. If you guys have any questions for them, feel free to shoot it up into the YouTube chat. They're here. They can answer.
BubblemanWhat's up with Dabadoo? I have no idea. I suspect it's happening. It happens every year. There's now the Cannabis Cup, the Dabadoo, the Legends of Hash. What is there? Any other contests happening in Amsterdam while we all gather?
BubblemanMS sucks. I know a woman who went to Mexico for some stem cell therapy that really helped her. She was confined to a chair. Before now, she goes hiking. Sweet. I love to hear that. That's wonderful. Wow. Come on.
SpeakerRight on.
BubblemanThank you, Jay Henricks. We're all good ambassadors for cannabis as long as we're sharing information. I don't pretend to. I never invented or came up with any of this information. I just happen to be fairly good at retaining information, and I've happened to read a good amount of it, so I'm happy to share it. Please don't think that it's my information. It's just our community's information, and I just feel like part of my gig is that I can help access it in a sort of non-binary way.
BubblemanWhat do you have to say about that, Horatio?
SpeakerWell, obviously it's true. I'm just obviously feeling over my own wounds of epileptic episodes. So, you know, I was thinking about, you know, that medical cup and I think MS would be at the top of the judge's criteria. We'd go based on the things we know it's treated The most, like, when it comes to relieving suffering, yeah, judges categories, MS is right up there with probably the top judges category for all to put up our strains, put up our extracts and say, how does it help?
SpeakerI definitely go for that, for that to be, that to be one of those, and we have enough of an audience of patients that we can actually have a three judges panel that it's not just one person, it's Thank you so much for joining us.
SpeakerThe whole plant and its whole lineage and we go on pilgrimages just to bring back a clone. That basic whole region if people start growing it and cloning it. So I guess I'm in that boat now and looking for my strain that will stop these morning situations that I wake up, I can be a different person. And it's been a rough year, because you don't know what's going to happen, plus the day it happens.
SpeakerThat's what makes certain sudden illnesses really stressful, and marijuana can really help when you find that. That right strain, that match, I see how many people live by Bubba Cush, and I'm like, what the hell did it do for them? You know, you said it, though, in regards to the, you know,
BubblemanThank you so much for joining us.
BubblemanPotential epileptic. You are definitely looking at something with high CBD, I would say. I would never say CBD because then it implies that it's much, much, much more important Then the rest of the 79 cannabinoids.
SpeakerObviously, it's something on our dabbers we can literally balance. We can put two different cuts when the strain doesn't have that rest. We're a long way from finding that THC-CBD ratio. At this point, I'm in the privileged position of being an extract artist where I'm like, if you've got the CBD, put it over here and I'll take one dab of that and one dab of this and then...
SpeakerI thought that, okay, we need to breed two plants together and get back something that's naturally occurring. So for a discovery process, I find it really handy to be able to get something more, okay, that's a breeding project that must happen. This combination should be happening in a natural, natural synergistic way.
BubblemanYou know what? I mentioned it last week, too, and my worry with the sort of CBD and the way it's being promoted and almost marketed, it worries me that the kids that don't have epilepsy, the kids that have cancer, are thinking that they require a CBD only, and the CBD only is kid-friendly because it doesn't have THC and THC. This is like a real important point that I want to make, like, If your kid is suffering from a brain tumor and a potentially life-threatening illness, Euphoric feelings and feeling good about healing themselves using a medicine that both makes them feel good and heals them.
BubblemanIs that something that we should avoid over, say, brain surgery, chemotherapy, radiation? Why are those things okay for our children? But getting high, feeling euphoric feelings of wonder, having good feelings, that is considered, I mean, basically pretty much fucking taboo in our culture.
SpeakerBut they can give them synthetics and they can be high and it's okay. Oh yeah, if they're destroyed, like, that's fine, but if they're just like, hey, life is so good, it's cannabis. Yes. We can't have that. I know, it's ridiculous.
BubblemanIt puts a little bit of sadness in my heart, to be honest, Thomas. When I saw Michaela and the Vice documentary they did on stoned kids, she was explaining how she kind of feels giddy, and I was just like, well, there's the poster child right there, like, how could you think that she just goes and draws, or plays with her dad, or plays with her, like, dolls and stuff, like, how...
BubblemanHow is, and she's like shrinking a mass in her chest while she's doing it. Exactly. Unbelievable.
SpeakerI know. Well, people don't even recognize that's her only respite. You don't see Michaela when she's on the floor and when she's incapacitated. No. You don't see her when she's on her functional breaks, and that's all she has. People assume that that's her natural state and, well, what does she need to get high for? I'm like, no, you're seeing Michaela when she's in her good period. Exactly.
SpeakerAlong with most of us, when we're all sick, you don't see us. You only see us when we're at our best, and then you get that picture that that's where we live, and therefore you're just getting high. Dude, you are totally right on the button with that.
BubblemanSomeone just asked us a question, not to interrupt. I feel bad. Someone said they were feeling down, and they're going through hard times, and they'd appreciate some advice or words of encouragement. Thomas Volk. Simultaneously, right after he said that, there's another important stream. It's hard to... Oh, Matt asked if it was true that we had a Monsanto executive member on the United Cannabis Board. So if Thomas wants to let us know his story, I think that's much more important than explaining the missed or misplaced assumptions of people in regards to this Monsanto thing.
BubblemanOh, I did read a really beautiful reply by Tony today in regards to that. So while Tony's, while the gentleman who's having hard times, Thomas prints up why he's having hard times, we will explain the Monsanto executive team member on the cannabis board. So here we go. I'm going to explain it. Ben, or sorry, whoever asked that question, Matt, go to unitedcannabis.us under press. His position and why he is there is given in a statement.
BubblemanSome facts you should know so it helps you sleep better at night. One, he wasn't hired. He's a temporary financial guy to help us structure the company correctly and make the right financial decisions. Two, His position is unpaid. Three, it's a friend's dad who wants to help us. Four, he helped three other Fortune 500 companies on Energizer Core. He wasn't around or had anything to do with GMOs.
BubblemanHe's a financial guy. Fifteen years ago. If you started a company and were up against large corporations like Monsanto, what would you do to prepare yourself? We simply have a retired defensive coordinate from 1996. He's been retired and wanted to help us reach our goals. Everyone skips right over the scientist that is helping us too. He discovered stem cells and debunked the old theory that cannabis kills brain cells.
BubblemanHe started the first biotechnology company, holds 18 gateway patents in the human brain with 119 international patents for his tech with 200 peer-reviewed articles. It's called building a team to compete in the phytotherapeutic market. We don't promote the use of chemicals, GMOs, or foods that are GMO. We didn't take money or support from Monsanto. Hope that clears a few things up for you, Matt. Considering three months ago the rumors started flying because most don't actually read anything, they just assume.
BubblemanFinally, for a question and answer of everything you want to know, it was recorded on the Adam Dunn Show. I suggest you listen to it. It might help as well. We are at war with the big boys. If you don't arm yourself accordingly, you're going to be wiped out. We are doing something no other company in the world, including GW Pharmaceuticals, has been able to pull off.
BubblemanIf you can use GMO or sold out, I'd be appalled too. But neither is true. Bless up, brother. I've been playing this game since 1996. Wait for all the players to be announced before you assume the worst. That's Tony Verzura from United Cannabis. Matt, it felt good reading that reply.
BubblemanSo that was for Matt, who was also, I think mostly people really don't have any clue whatsoever. They just hear that name, Monsanto. And then they have a reaction, which I guess we have to blame our news and our media because it's really been set up like that, for them to shoot out little bits, little words, little symbols, and then for us to like, our psyches to react.
BubblemanI mean, Hitler did a very good job at it by taking a sacred Tibetan symbol that was thousands of years old and represented peace all over the fucking world, and he inverted it and turned it into the swastika. Now what would someone say if you had even an inverted swastika, which is the original, On your shirt or skateboard or bag and you walked out into the world.
BubblemanTrust me, it wouldn't be long before you had someone seriously fucking choked with you because that's a symbol and it causes reaction based on, you know, heinous shit that Hitler did behind that symbol. I think it's all a bunch of bullshit, personally, just saying.
BubblemanI'm not advocating anything to do with Monsanto. Like I said, the guy worked at Monsanto. See how people get locked into this? You end up in this endless fucking argument.
SpeakerOh, yeah, you will. Never end. It's never ending. It's Monsanto again to us, yeah.
BubblemanIn the meantime, that same dude, the same dudes that are like, oh, Monsanto this, Monsanto that, wait till you see them loving the products because every time we show any of the creams or the salves or the sublingual drops or the patches... People trip out on that shit and they want it. I don't want only to have that. I want you guys to have resin and live plants and whatever you want to have access to.
BubblemanBut when your grandma's sick and she doesn't want to go to the fucking dispensary and buy weed, but she wants cream for her fucking knee, companies like UCAN are going to do a great service. Come on. Yep. Fuck. Yeah, Bob Marley says, good rant, B-man. Sorry, I guess... Joshua says he has many swastikas tattooed on him. And I can tell you, he's a great guy. He's not a racist.
BubblemanAnd those swastikas most definitely don't represent hate if they are on him. Potcoin cryptocurrency. Welcome, guys. I was going to talk about potcoin today at one point in time. Maybe I'll get him to send me a link on Facebook. And I will get him into the link because I think this is a cool idea the pot coin guys have going on. We're trying to figure out how to do some sort of a collaboration but at this point I'm really just promoting them because I think it's a cool concept.
BubblemanI don't exactly see how they're going to fit into it. They've got this neat idea of getting pot coins associated with certain strains or being able to buy cannabis and hash at dispensaries using pot coins which makes it a more anonymous purchase. Of course, pot coins, much like bit coins, will potentially go up in value, so they're not just like your regular money. Two bucks today is going to be two bucks in ten years, well, but worth much less.
BubblemanWhat else we got here? Okay, here goes Thomas. His fam is messed up. He's feeling kind of hopeless. People say he's a good person and he's trying to get my life together, but my own mother won't help me. Well, fuck, you know what, Thomas? This is Hash Church. We're here to try and make you feel better, dude. I don't know your whole story. You're trying to get an education in botany for medical cannabis and you could use some encouragement and some kind words.
BubblemanI will tell you, brother, you know, you can only sometimes find the light when the real darkness sets in. And so don't be too afraid of the ups and downs in life. Generally, we all have them. We go up, we go down. I think that the pain is there to help us understand that life could be appreciated and respected and lived in the moment. And death, of course, is the big one that really shakes all of us up, and mostly whatever your belief system is once a close friend or a loved one dies.
BubblemanThat really rocks you to the core of your foundation to the point where we all really realize whatever you believe is just a belief system and it doesn't make it real. And no matter how fervent your belief system is in what you believe happens after death, you know, we don't really know. And that's the great, great sort of Well, Thomas, I mean,
SpeakerA lot of people have, I mean, there are psychological barriers that hold a lot of us back, and that's where the pain of our suffering comes from, and there are people who have more emotional, physical, stressful barriers, and like Mark said, you've got to take wind of the fact you're alive. I mean, the fact that you're even in a position that you can ask for help says that you're a lucky person to begin with, that we're here and that you have something to look forward to each week.
SpeakerThank you so much for joining us today.
SpeakerThe world still seems to want you here tomorrow, so you seem to wake up. So you've got to remember that. And everyone that's here is only here by some will that wants us here that's greater than our ability to go to sleep and wake up. And you've got to cherish that and look at ways to find gratitude in every moment. And that in itself will start to heal you and start to change your own pitch.
SpeakerAnd then your mother starts to realize you're humming a bit differently and takes a different attitude towards you. So start internally and you'll see that the external world treats you a lot different just because of what you're putting out there.
BubblemanTrue enough, man.
SpeakerYeah, that was nice.
BubblemanPerfectly said. Beautiful. I hope we made you feel better, Thomas. You're always welcome to come hang out with us. Don't get too down on yourself. Don't feel like a victim. Just realize that it's your choices that will change your experience and that no matter how heavy things are, you most likely manifested them. And I always kind of find when I get into the real heavy waters that I've manifested something really big, and it's not like everything's falling apart, but it's an opportunity disguised as an obstacle.
BubblemanThat's usually how our manifestations can come to us sometimes. Yes, Dustin, people that want to come in and chat, I am. If they want to hit me up on my Facebook, either bubbleman.freshheadies or freshheadies.bubbleman. I'm checking the private messages always. I'll send you the link in here. I'm looking for people to tell their stories. I'm looking for people to be a part of the room. I'm looking for positivity.
BubblemanOh yeah, $1.50 an hour for a therapist? Fuck that. We are our own therapists. We've all got good things to say. And sometimes it just takes that one person, like basically Horatio, just laying it down on the line for you.
BubblemanExcellent. They're loving it, Horatio. They say, both of my hands are up just listening to Horatio preach.
SpeakerI can't keep track of the typing screen. I've got to focus on one screen.
BubblemanYes, I can read it to you, no problem.
BubblemanWhat do you say we have a big rip, guys? Hash Church, and you're barely smoking hash. Babu Koo, we're puffing one for Babu Koo. Shall I read his poem? I will. This is probably a multi-thousand year old Afghanistan poem. Alright, so, Oh Babu Koo. O Babakoo E Mastaan, Dauri Kibrit Gulistan, Ambalar Amzemistan, Aisha Zadeem, Dega Aesha Barasan, O Babakoo E Mastaan. And what that stands for in English is, O Old Father Mountain So High, Flowers Shall Adorn Your Grave, In Spring and Winter Too, This Pipe Is Done, Bring On Another One, O Old Father Mountain So High.
BubblemanI'll smoke to that. Hell yeah. Right on. Yeah. Good. We're all just a bunch of people that want to be hanging out with each other. We all want to feel a position. We all want to feel loved. We all want to feel listened to. And what better place to come do that than in Hash Church? Welcome back, Johnny B.
SpeakerExactly. Great place to be.
SpeakerSo lots of good advice there, Thomas.
BubblemanNo shortage.
SpeakerThank you, Cortland Womack.
BubblemanWe love making them for you.
SpeakerAnd if you can get your hand on some amino acids, take some natural supplements, always helps make you feel better, and proper nutrients is a key.
BubblemanProper Nutrients, Johnny B Knows. You can't just get away with smoking reefers, guys. This isn't just about smoking reefers, although smoking reefers is a wonderful, great thing. I don't personally do it, but I definitely am happy that all of you are doing it. Smoking cannabinoids, inhaling phytocannabinoids in one way or another, but let's be straight. When it comes to really saturating your endocannabinoid system, all the smoke in the world, all the vapor in the world isn't really going to...
BubblemanIn my opinion, regulate the whole system. You might be able to relieve ocular pressure or relieve pain in your body or tremors in Thomas' case or seizures in Horatio's case. But if we're really saturating that system and we're going to put our whole system into homeostasis, I can only imagine what we'll learn about this. Is it going to be a 30-day thing? Is it going to be a 60?
BubblemanWill people come to Jamaica, John, for a 60-day thing? It's 30 day, 15 day, you know, endocannabinoid saturation.
SpeakerThat'd be cool. Well, that's, it's about getting into the micro dosing and taking in all of the cannabinoids and eating constantly. Yep. You know it. It'd be very interesting to see how the world's going to change. I'd find out. Yeah, like Tony said last week. Go ahead, John. Oh, the amount of milligrams of cannabinoids I take per day just so I can get a better quality of life when everybody shouldn't have access to.
SpeakerI think it's important. And of course, at the same time, being around a plant and growing it too gives you a really good feeling. If you can get around a plant and be close to it, it makes you feel a lot better seeing it grow and stuff like that. There's other ways. It's not just about just consuming the plant, being around the plant. Also,
SpeakerPleasure increases dopamine. It makes me feel happy just being around. It's outside my window right there. The sun is shining, and there's my tree. I don't know if we can see it or not, guys. It's a little bright. Oh, there we go.
BubblemanDid you see it? Through the window. Ah, yes. Welcome, Mike. John Abrams came in. Mike? I'm being able to mute him because it's loud. But he's in? Mike's been suffering with cancer for, I don't know, more than a decade. I think Horatio and John are helping.
SpeakerMike was born with a condition, right? And he has had over 26 surgeries in his lifetime.
BubblemanYeah, that's terrible. Wow. What do we feel for you, Mike?
SpeakerYeah, right now, like we're talking with Mike, is every time that disease has lived in his body very happily for the last 40-some-odd years until it was introduced to cannabinoids. And right now, it's scared and it's running because Mike, like he says, he's never felt better than he has in a long time, pretty much. We're microboasting him with Horatio's oil. We've hit him with shatters. We've used Rick Simpson oil.
SpeakerWe've had full melt bubble house, dry sift. Mike's saturated Mike system. He has had over his lifetimes. Wow, that's terrible. What do we feel for you, Mike?
BubblemanSomeone's got the mic on until he can figure that out. Mike, what's happening is your mic sensitivity is turned up way too high and you have the video turned on as well simultaneously. You'll have to turn the volume down in the YouTube video so we don't hear ourselves coming through your mic because of course we want to hear from you. But I've got to be militant on the mic echoes in here in the half church.
BubblemanGood job. There were some questions. Johnny B, Silly Simon said to say hello to Johnny B and Mike from Luxembourg.
SpeakerHey guys, sorry I'm not looking at the chat. I'll try and log back into Facebook.
BubblemanThat's okay. I don't mind kind of going through reading a bunch of this stuff. I'm definitely not ignoring them. Joshua, you get into chat by sending me a private message on Facebook and then I'll send you the link.
BubblemanAll right. We'll get him in. Joshua Corpy is a hash maker down in the California Palo Alto area, and he makes hash on a very large level. He has even told me of pulling out a pound of full melts in one run. So he's running, you know, 10, 20 pounds. Welcome, Chain, and welcome, Hedy and Mike. If you don't figure out your mic, by all means, type to us because we want to hear from you.
BubblemanWe're happy to have you guys here. Our good buddies, we've had some fun experiences, and I'll never forget going to the airport, and Mike and Hedy always drop John off, and I somehow don't even call John, but I meet him at the airport, like right at the front door, like getting out of their vehicle. And the way it looked was they hadn't gone in yet. I did not know that Mike had gone in, grabbed a dolly, and come back out.
BubblemanAnd so I show up. They're kind of in the car getting out with John. I pull up. I'm like, hey, what's up? We're filming, and it's the one where we walk into the airport, and we find the med-tainer on the joints. So I'm just thinking, fuck, this can't be true. These guys are fucking with me. But I saw that they never went in. So it was very funny.
BubblemanJohn, the funniest thing was John was smoking the weed and not knowing that it was his weed that he grew. He's smoking joints of it with people, and people are like, what is this? He's like, I don't know, but it's pretty good. It's awesome. And then we met, then we met Mike and Eddie, then we met them at the airport when we landed in Vancouver and we did another video where we gave them the, we gave Mike his container back and I think John even rolled more joints to replace the ones, because at first when he didn't know whose maintainer it was, he was kind of like, oh, I'll just give these away, give one to her, give, he gave one to this one dude that was like having a horrible, terrible day, like honestly it was the best joint you ever gave away, John, honestly, like it was a hero move.
BubblemanThis guy was, he has some problems. I don't know if it's like a cerebral palsy or what he suffers from. But he hangs out in Mark Clokey, the weed guy's sort of crew. And he's got some problems. And so what had happened was I guess he was feeling a little ditched by his friends. He was feeling somehow, you know, he was feeling like Thomas. He was feeling like we all do sometimes.
BubblemanIt's not necessarily anyone's fault or blame, but he was feeling down. And instead of John and everyone else, instead of just kind of walking by him the way I even have to admit I felt at the end of working for like nine hours, Johnny B, who's fucking just like also worked for nine hours, is like, dude. You know what? Just stop. This is okay. The guy's crying and security's there and it's at the lobby entrance to the hotel and security's kind of freaked out because they don't know how to deal with this guy because he's disabled and it's like, they just can't treat him like a real fucking person, dude.
BubblemanHe's not different from anyone else. He's just disabled. Stop treating him like a fucking, like something that he shouldn't be. So Johnny, of course, is just like, He's like, hey, I'm disabled too. I'm going to help this. And just gives the guy a joint, goes outside, puffs this big fat joint with the guy. And man, did he make his day better. Like so much better.
SpeakerOh, hell yeah. You got to do that.
BubblemanYeah, dude. It was good. It was a good feel-good moment. And we might have even talked about it on Bubble Man's World afterwards, because I'm sure we just ended up, didn't even my camera just get stolen?
SpeakerThe next day.
BubblemanOh. And you know what? I didn't feel as bad as that guy felt. Yeah, he just needed some cannabis. He did. He needed a big fat joint, and thanks to you and Mike losing his joints, and then you finding them, or me finding them, and then you giving them away. This is great, John. Yes, Uli Pretorius says he just wants to try one of the pure hash joints.
BubblemanWell, I don't blame you, dude. I also just love them.
SpeakerAnything but.
BubblemanI recently was doing some research on the pH of raw water used during water extraction. I think it would be called a rumor to say the head will explode if the pH is too high or too low, but I always tell people that they should play around with things like pH and see what they can find. I haven't played around with it a ton. Just cannot control the body and speech.
BubblemanYes, Jim Jones, exactly. He's mentally fit, but he cannot control it. He was controlling his body and his speech much better after the big fat Medi-Kush joint that John gave him. So that was good. It's good to make people feel better, especially if it's the least you can do, right? It's not like you're really spending the majority of your time going out on a limb for people.
BubblemanWhat's like three minutes out of your day? And you know what? I find that the best time to do it is not the time where you feel like you have the excuse not to, but it's the time where you feel like you really just are at the... You're also at the end of your rope. You're like, you know what? If I wasn't in a rush or if I... All that shit's just bullshit and that's the best time to offer your help because that's generally when it is the most when you yourself...
BubblemanWe have to sacrifice a little bit to give it up. Are we not able to sacrifice a little bit of our time for our fellow man? I hope so. I like to think so.
SpeakerI like to. I know how much you do, Mike does. I think most people that are puffers are the same sharers as we are.
BubblemanYeah. Exactly. I think so. That's what I love about coming on here to Hash Church. Oh, what does he want to know about the operation of the company you're shooting photos for? As in Tilray? Is that the company you're asking about? The licensed producer here on Vancouver Island? I do have signed NDAs, which is non-disclosure agreements, because they have proprietary knowledge, so I'm not able to discuss certain things.
BubblemanWelcome, Joshua. But I can discuss a few little things like the quality of the garden and the quality of the people that work there and the... That's what I love about coming on here. Hey, Joshua.
SpeakerYou too. If that's what's going to help us...
BubblemanHe'll figure it out. We want to talk to you. Maybe you're on a phone. Joshua, I muted you for a second. The sound... The sound that's coming through the chat is reverberating. I've got to figure out the logistics on this so I can explain to people what to do rather than just kind of sound like a clueless dude. Because Joshua has some good things. Will I turn off the YouTube sound?
BubblemanYeah, yeah, you turn off the YouTube sound. I think you can do that on your phone. And then you can unmute your mic because I unfortunately, oh, maybe I can unmute your mic actually. I have a control room. Ah, da-da-da-da-da-da. Yes, I can. Hedy's also, and Horatio's also. I guess ideally what we would do on here, everyone, is when it's your turn to talk, unmute your mic, and if you're not talking, mute your mic.
SpeakerSo go ahead, Johnny B. Oh, I was just sitting here reading this nice book, and we were just talking about the guys from GW Pharmaceuticals, and this is an old book that was about cannabis and cannabinoids. If you Google this, you'll find some very interesting information in here on chronic pain, on different disease and conditions. It's just something that I've been looking for for months and I found it by sitting here talking to you guys.
SpeakerI went downstairs and grabbed it. But it talks about seizure disorders and all kinds of very good information that a lot of people have been talking about. So, I mean, it's just one of those really good books that I've learned a lot from and that I've studied over the years. And that's where I've got a lot of my knowledge from actually between this and, of course, you folks and everybody else in the industry.
SpeakerSo, it's just some good information and a good tip. Cool. Thanks, John.
SpeakerI'll have to check out that book next time I buy your place. Yeah, I think it cost me about $150. All the good books do. But this is actually the book that you need, Horatio. This is something that's past my point. I don't really understand it, but I did get it a while back, and I think it's needed in this time that we're in right now. And it really deals with a lot of really cool research.
SpeakerAbsolutely. I mean, I just like hearing protocol for once versus doing it right. Actually getting to adopting some standards from some industries that have been here forever and a day. And we should have that as the foundation of anything we do, not just be trying to rope in some sanity by getting a book. I'll read that book and I'll put up everything that I can see that's vital for the people in it.
SpeakerI'm up on my page, so I'll check it out.
BubblemanBingo, that's exactly right. When people learn nowadays, you know 10 years ago online when you learned something, the whole purpose, people were like, they were kind of keeping the information to themselves, sharing little bits of it, but really just keeping it.
SpeakerI used to bring printouts from online, but you couldn't go online with me.
SpeakerOkay, you both gave me great ideas. Mark, you said take pictures, put them on the endocannabinoid group. You were talking about putting it on your page, and that's what I'll be doing every day, taking pictures of this book and putting it onto our group page for everybody to read.
BubblemanWell, that's what the group is for, Johnny. That's exactly what it's for. That's what we want everyone to do. If you have good information, if you have a good link... We don't want stupid questions asked in the endocannabinoid group. What we want is links and documents and information and first-hand stories. First-hand stories are amazing. You wouldn't believe just sharing your story in a couple of paragraphs and how cannabis has helped you, whether you know science or not, it's important information for the group, for other people who may be suffering with the same ailments or similar conditions, that they might have no idea and then all of a sudden they read your story and they...
BubblemanI think it's important that's the endocannabinoid system group on Facebook. I can actually link it. I guess I can link it in the YouTube chat, but it is called the endocannabinoid system group. So search that up on Facebook.
SpeakerIt will come up.
BubblemanSo how are you doing, Josh? Did you figure your mic out? Welcome, Matt. Welcome, Christopher.
BubblemanWhen you guys aren't talking, if you don't mind just keeping your mic, that way if you're coughing or you're banging your keyboard or any of these other things, your mic won't pick it up. Just mute yourself if you're not talking. If you do want to talk, by all means, just unmute yourselves and tell us a little bit of something about yourself.
BubblemanBoom, boom, boom. Nobody? Nobody? Alright, let's do another bong rep. I got the super beautiful... Can you hear me? Yes, I can hear you. Who's that, Matt?
MattYeah, what's going on, man?
BubblemanNot too much. Where are you from, bro?
MattYeah, that's me.
MattI'm from New Mexico.
BubblemanWell, welcome. Welcome from New Mexico.
MattAppreciate it.
BubblemanI think eventually when we all come in here, we'll be like, one day we might be like, I'm from Earth. Same place as you, man.
BubblemanRight? What are you smoking on today? What's going on down in New Mexico? I'm feeding your endocrine.
MattI had, yep, was some vanilla kush dabs.
BubblemanDabs. I'm about to dab up this little powdery dry sift.
MattNice.
BubblemanI absolutely love how this D-nail hits. This thing is great.
BubblemanJust explodes the triceps.
BubblemanSomeone asked about their grandma's back. I believe it was pot coins. He said that his grandma had a sore back and she wanted to use something, so I just saw my buddy's product here that I saw yesterday at the event, Buddha Butter. And Buddha Butter, he uses all natural, all organic. He doesn't use solvent extracts. He uses bubble hash and dry sift. And, yeah, that would be something that your grandma could use right there, pot coin guy.
BubblemanThat's some nice, clean... It smells beautiful, like really quite nice. It's good for arthritis, eczema, psoriasis, chronic muscle pain, inflammation, and it's a natural SPF. So it's organic shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic castor oil, organic jojoba oil, essential oils, and tetrahydrocannabinol, which really I guess he should have written phytocannabinoids because there's no way he extracted the THC pure. I'll have to tell him that. So that is made in Canada, and it's called Buddha Butter.
BubblemanSo you can Google that shit up there, Mr. Popcorn. And of course, if you're in the U.S., your aunt, okay, well, she's also going to be able to find it in Colorado and in Washington and in California and in a whole bunch of different states that I don't even pretend to know everything about.
SpeakerThere's a lot to know.
BubblemanNew Mexico, there we go, we got New Mexico, I think maybe, I don't know, didn't Minnesota and Florida and all these other places start passing these?
MattI think Florida's voting on it, New York just passed it, there's Rhode Island, shit, Rhode Island, Arizona, California, Oregon.
BubblemanI think people are sending messages to me to the wrong spots. I have like so many Facebook places. Yeah, they are. That's exactly what they're doing. They're sending me the... Sorry, I'm not fresh headies, guys. That's like a page on my website, so yes, I can reply to you, but I wasn't ignoring you, and the reason I didn't see that is because I really don't ever check in here.
BubblemanSo more people, I may have to get, more people might request to come in and if we reach 10 we'll have to bump some people out. So if you're in here for the first time and you know you have something to say, you want to share some stories, by all means the floor is yours. I'm going to eat some blueberries with some passion fused.
MattI just started a dabbing themed t-shirt company if all y'all want to check it out on Facebook. Here's one of our shirts. It's a THC molecule.
BubblemanLovely. I like the THC molecule.
MattIt's stoned ape clothing.
BubblemanHmm.
MattFacebook.com slash stonedape710.
BubblemanWe wish you luck on your venture with your new business. I hope you're using maybe organic cotton or hemp or bamboo or something. I know it's hard, but it's worth looking into eventually. I know high integrity equals low profits out there, but every little thing you sort of do.
SpeakerI got myself a nice hemp shirt on here today. This is a hemp hoodlum.
BubblemanReal nice clothing. Actually, what do we got here in the pocket? I think I got a, looks like I got a quartz dabber right there.
MattNice. Yeah, I've been looking into it, but I'm trying to keep all of my production and everything inside the USA. And it's a little hard to find somebody to do it all natural and print on hemp in the USA.
BubblemanExactly. That's why I look at myself as an earthling. Once you erase those borders, you sort of lose your pride of country and you realize you're an earthling. Like people are your brothers and sisters all over the world. And certainly I support making things in countries, particularly ones that are impoverished and are hurting more for jobs and stuff. I've been making bubble bags for almost 13 or 14 years now in Nepal.
BubblemanOne of the poorest countries in the world and we pride ourselves on not just paying them well but treating them well. It's a family thing. My partner who lives there is married to a Nepali woman so he's very much involved in the family. He has five Nepali children. He supports the Sadhu culture, the smokers, through his compound. He feeds many, many, many, many people. Even to the point where the Sadhus offer puja to us at holy festivals, both him and myself and the company.
BubblemanBecause we do good work and it's important to sometimes support those that A, are very willing and B, are just great, great people. I learned that from traveling, in fact, that the more I traveled, the more I fell in love with With just different cultures and I always looked at them as different cultures and then eventually I looked at them as like people, just people that happened to grow up in a different area.
BubblemanLike I could have just as easily grown up in that area and been of a similar, I guess, cultural belief system. It's interesting.
SpeakerYeah, man. Traveling is amazing. I traveled in the service and it really opened my eyes.
MattOkay, sorry, I'm back. My internet connection crapped out on me.
BubblemanNo problem. Who was just talking before that?
SpeakerThat was me, Dustin.
BubblemanOkay, welcome, Dustin. Welcome, Dustin. Sorry, you sent... I didn't realize you don't know my Facebook page. I have a Facebook page. It's... I guess I'll say it right here in chat for those that are in here so they can find me next time. The web address is facebook.com backslash freshheadies.bubbleman. So that's like a, whatever, one of these community pages. And it's, uh, all you have to do is like it, and then you can go on there and you'll be able to see links to, uh, and whatnot.
SpeakerIs the one that has the name Marcus, is that you, or is that somebody pretending to be you?
BubblemanI'm not sure, which, what are you asking me?
SpeakerUh, okay, look, I have a, uh, uh, You know, I'm pretty sure it's your name. Marcus Gary Richardson. Yeah, well, that's me.
BubblemanI was Bubble... That's Bubble Man's account, and it just changed the name.
SpeakerOh, okay.
BubblemanYeah.
SpeakerI sent him a message there, but I don't know. My Facebook's been weird. I guess maybe because you're full-on friends. Maybe that's why it didn't send it.
BubblemanI'm not too sure. I get like hundreds of messages every day and I'm at the point where, and I guess I'll say this on camera too, that I can't answer questions that aren't questions. Often people just want to chat and I understand it. I wish I had the time to just hang out and chat. That's why I do these chats so that we can chat. But I don't have the time to answer the several hundred messages that come into Facebook.
BubblemanGenerally, I'll look, and if it's a hash question, you will absolutely get answered immediately. If it's like, hey, how's it going? Hey, what's up? If it's anything like that, I generally just sort of don't, I can't, they're coming in. Like even right now, I got like 19 since we started talking about it. Like 19 messages came in in the last like three minutes.
SpeakerI had no idea it was that intense. I don't think anyone has a moderator.
BubblemanThe worst is Tony Verzura. He's worse than me. His is even worse than mine. He doesn't even turn his chat feature on. One time I said, hey dude, I need you to send me a file. Just send it to me through Facebook. And he's like, oh no, I can't turn it on Facebook, man. I can't do that. So busy times.
SpeakerI'm the same person too.
BubblemanBut I think that's why it's best if you have something to ask any of us, just come into Hash Church. We're very open to answer your questions. I'm going to look into the room here now in the chat room, in the YouTube chat room.
SpeakerWe were talking about TLO, True Living Organics. That's a fun topic. Have you guys read that book?
BubblemanNo, I have not. Yeah, I read it.
SpeakerOh, I liked it. I'm not entirely... Basically, it's a microbial-based soil. You know, you build the soil based on life.
BubblemanYes, soil. I'm familiar with living soil, for sure.
SpeakerBut in the book, he kind of does things like using blood meal and bone meal, and I think more of like a compost vermiculite core kind of method. And what do you base that on? I don't know, I guess mostly I'd rather, to me it seems more environmentally friendly if you use like a veganic method as opposed to taking a byproduct of the meat industry where they're just grinding up bones.
SpeakerI mean it's gross if you think about it.
BubblemanYeah, what do you have to say about that, Horatio?
SpeakerYou know, I have a lot to say about that. I'd love to hear it. Do you want to take responsibility for all of the byproducts of human life and put them back to their traditional use? I mean, to say coir and compost and to not know where the compost comes from, I mean, the reason why the book was no surprise to me is because all of those things come from natural farming practices.
SpeakerHe just layered them in a pot. So blood meal, bone meal, all of those things, when we process our animals, we save all of that back. And I do use it for activating liquid compost brews. Thank you for watching.
SpeakerThank you for watching.
SpeakerThanks for watching.
SpeakerThank you so much for joining us.
SpeakerIt's a complicated subject that I understand why it's icky and you don't want to face it. Well, I mean, if I was... What the hell?
SpeakerSorry, I have a phone going off. I didn't even know I had a phone.
SpeakerYeah, well, I mean, to me, I guess if I was growing an animal and then I was saving the parts of that for that, it would make more sense. I guess to me it's the idea of factory farming in these slaughterhouses where cows are kept in cages next to each other. That's what really upsets me about that. I mean, well then get upset with McDonald's. Don't get upset with the bone meal factory that tries to do something with all the waste that comes from that culture.
SpeakerIt's a culture that wants burger patties a minute. That's what's out of balance. Thank you so much for joining us.
BubblemanIt's got to be done. It's got to be done. So here we are talking about soil and growing and the different ways to grow. I personally have been just using a very simple soilless mixture, but an organic one-part system called MediOne, and it grew some fine resin. I mean, it melted into a liquid, and no one said that it tasted strange or anything like that, so I always take that as a test.
SpeakerAs a positive? I smelled many one and I'm like, this just smells like my compost tea brewer. What the hell? Because I'm dumping fish hydrocylite into it and all kinds of other stuff. So, I mean, that is a composted byproduct just by a different composting method. To ferment it down into the nutrients that plants need. So, I mean, whether we know which parts went in, the bottom line is it's protein.
SpeakerAnd we know we plant eat protein and plants eat us when we're gone. So, whatever way we can use it now to get it back to the earth versus have it pile up and become a pollutant, I'd say we should go for it. Well, for the easy gardener, like Mark said, I myself have been using Medi One, One Part Grown Bloom Organic Nutrient. It works great with just Pro-Mix.
SpeakerThat's all I use. And pretty much, Mark will concur, and most people, all my resin melts beautifully. It tastes amazing. Organic is just an easy way to go. Mixing a lot of soils is hard for a lot of people, too. I used to, but I can't do it anymore. I used to use a cement mixer. I know, I got two for soil mixing. But the thing is, it's not the soilless mix because aquaponics, which is working with fish ammonia, is the best soil medium is rocks.
SpeakerIt's three-quarter inch gravel, so it's not, the soil is just housing the life for the plants. It's not, that's why there's so many soils across the planet and they all grow plants. It's I mean, when you say a soilless medium, I'm like, well, whatever oils and nutrients is your soil, even if it is coconut coir that fell from a tree above is mulch. So I don't find that out of balance and really to say soil-less when you're just using a mulch that would have fallen back to soil anyways.
BubblemanWell, I think it's time for everyone to load up their pipes here at Hash Church. It's 11.18 a.m., which means it's going to be 4.20 somewhere in two minutes.
SpeakerHey, hey, Benny, 4.20. How's it going? Not that we need any excuses to load our bowls.
BubblemanMan, I love peeling off the melted sweet skunk hash off of this little quartz dabber.
BubblemanI'm not going to lie, I like it. I'm not going to lie, I like it a lot. Well, I'm not waiting for 420. I'm going to hit 418. I'm going to hit 418, 419, and 420.
SpeakerThere you go.
SpeakerI'm trying to hook up our webcams. All right.
BubblemanChristopher Tidewell. Yes, ideally we'd have webcams. I think I'm going to probably reserve talking for webcams just because there's only ten spaces in here. People want to get in so definitely if you want to get in I'm going to require a webcam and a microphone and then we're going to answer Christopher Tidwell's question. Do you think the dry sift needs to be decarbed first or does the baking process form make baked edibles do the same thing?
BubblemanWell baking is kind of decarbing. Any type of heating is decarboxylating. It's a simple carboxylic acid ring removal from the molecule which happens Um, at a certain temperature, usually for a certain time to ensure that all of the material has been, uh, decarboxylated. And that, uh, simply activates the THC A's and the CBD A's and all those acid versions of the molecules and it activates them to non-acid versions, which of course are CBD, CBN, etc.
BubblemanThat's it. How we activate them is we heat them up by inhalation. John just activated his phytocannabinoids in his little mini Swiss perk bong that Red Beard Glass blew for him. And here that is. Yes, baking will be car. That and burguanos. Someone mentions bat and bird guanos are very damaging to the environment. Not sure if that's been mentioned. Bat and bird guanos are very damaging to the environment.
BubblemanI gotta think that we are much more damaging to the environment than bird shit. Just gonna go out on a limb there.
SpeakerI don't think anything is more damaging than us.
BubblemanAnd then I think that if you think about the bird shit, I don't know where it's causing damage, but I bet you where it is causing damage has something to do with human interdiction in the birds' lives.
SpeakerIt has to do with the fact we went and dug it up.
SpeakerWell, the birds eat trash and they poop out toxic poop that's not balanced. Well, that's our trash, though. That's not their fault. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. That's our fault. That's a byproduct of what we're doing. Well, are you going to reject it? Is it everything?
SpeakerI think it's a bit late to really make a major change there. I mean, we can prevent the damage that's been done as best we can, but, I mean, we're already there. If we would just use eco-friendly plastics instead of using petroleum-based things, it would do a lot to help.
BubblemanI'm just going to mute your mic. Sorry to interrupt. When you're torching your nail, just put your mic on mute, which I did for you this particular time. But anyone that's torching, Christopher's probably on it as well, just mute the old microphone because we are recording this and the nail heating just does not sound very good for the listeners who at this point in time have been listening to us babble on for an hour and 22 minutes.
BubblemanThat's not too bad.
SpeakerHedy, is your mic working yet? I wanted to hear how your microdosing is going after a week.
BubblemanThat question was to Mike and Hedy.
SpeakerYeah, you got it right. Hang on.
BubblemanPerfect.
SpeakerI'm going to mute that. Okay, don't talk. I don't even see myself. Ask your question. Hey guys, how's it going? Hey, well, we missed you last week, and I just wanted everyone, you know, following your story and, you know, keeping up on Facebook, so I wanted to hear where you're at, you know, and all the things you've tried and, you know, day to day. Well, where I'm at, I'm just taking my drops on the cell phone set for hourly time, and I take that for about eight hours, all my waking hours at least, and it's going all right.
SpeakerAll easy to work with. Yeah, so, but you found that that one hour, one hour, one hour, it starts to create a consistent hum that you're able to get used to? Yeah, it does actually. If I get myself up to a certain level, it'll be like I've never had it, so it'll be okay at a certain point, right? Good, good, good, good. No, I mean, just, I mean, compared to the The strong reactions that tend to scare people away, for what I've been trying to research and actually getting Thank you so much for joining us.
SpeakerSo you're working with the creeper. Is that to me? Yeah, the creeping effect, the gradual saturation versus the shock factor to your system. Yeah, a lot easier because, you know, like sometimes the bone grips, they go right between the eyes and they hit you really hard and it's like, oh, that's just too much. But this will give the same effect. If I take like 10 or 12 drops, yeah, I'll get the same effect.
SpeakerBut if I take three drops every day, every hour, it works so much better because my body gets a minor hum, so I know there's something happening. But not so much that I'm, you know, out of my mind. As the neighbor who's been witnessing Mike daily, Mike's now sleeping in a little bit more. I will say that he is not up as early. He has definitely always got a smile on his face lately.
SpeakerAnd his hum, he's, I've seen him much happier in the last week. I think Hedy will also say the same thing. Because before I was hitting him too hard. I really just was trying to help him with trying to get as much TC in his system. So we were dosing him quite heavily at night from sleep and bad dreams, feeling sick in the morning, stuff like that.
SpeakerSo I'm really happy this micro dosing and I'm seeing him how he's feeling a lot better. He's not as scared to come over anymore. I'm looking at the way cancer, it didn't just come like you didn't get shot at the stoplight with a cancer. It seemed to creep and take over your life slowly. So if we're going to use THC to... We've got to come up with that same nefarious, slow-working mythology, and then one day your system goes, oh my God, I've got a lot of THC, and the cancer has hit that critical point.
BubblemanThis is what the ACT NOW program is really all about, Horatio, and how it's an activated cannabinoid therapy. It's endocannabinoid saturation, and there's an actual strategy to how it's done. It's not just taking dabs, it's not just eating edibles, it's like the whole, all the four-part drops. I mean, you were probably one of the only people last week that even caught that.
SpeakerWell, I mean, Mike is living my one-part drop system, and when I heard the drops, I'm like, if we only had the resources to make the four drops, I'd get... The whole activated acid, I'm like, he's got the juicing. It's the juicing component coming in step one. But it's step three before you even meet THC in its psychoactive form. And I mean, just to even have my one little version, I mean, I watched every video Tony ever put out and I'm like, I picked up that that was the way things were going and Going at it hard just would not work on these critical grandmas that were more paranoid than ever.
SpeakerSo I'm really happy that it's working for Mike and that Tony was able to share in advance so long ago those little tidbits that I picked up on. That you guys are going forward with a full-fledged program for real patients of a diversified situation. Because I know if I was on the program, what I need right now is not the THC point. I've always got that in my system naturally.
SpeakerI actually need the non-activated forms.
BubblemanYep. And have them broken up into so many different spectrums and combined into so many different spectrums that you can just sort of bioassay Titration of dose is so easy through microdosing. It's made even safer. It's made so people don't have bad sleeps and wake up sick and have bad dreams. It's really sort of, you know, it's sort of like the grown-up version of like, hey, you know, like we can do better than just like, you know.
SpeakerGet you some weed to help.
BubblemanYeah. Right?
SpeakerMm-hmm.
BubblemanWe can do better, right, John? Yes. Johnny B's got the Apex hat on, so I am going to rip the Apex. Not this little thing. I'm going to rip the Apex bubbler.
SpeakerOh, the exclusive.
BubblemanSo first we're going to put this hash in here.
BubblemanDab it up.
SpeakerHey, Johnny V, would you want to talk about a little bit more of that amino acid conversation you had last week? Yes. That's some cutting edge stuff. I love that. I actually have everything just sitting out here right now for you guys to see what I take. Do you guys see this? No. Down a bit more. I don't know how... I think Bubble Man has to give you video...
SpeakerI don't know how it works. There's some priority where...
BubblemanThe video's on him. There's no priority. His video is on the main screen right now. Is it?
SpeakerSo can you guys see it? Oh, there it is.
BubblemanWell, this is exactly what I take. Gabba Gabba. Hey, that's my Gabba bottle.
SpeakerBlurry. Tyrosine. Yeah. Gaba slows down pain transmission. It's a calming effect. Very, very good. SAM-E is for nervous support, so it's good for like arthritis, inflammation, pain, stuff like that.
BubblemanIf you close that window behind you, like... And what was that last one? Because it's so bright, it's like you're backlit.
SpeakerOkay, I'll try and move things up. The last one is DL phenylalanine. You have to get the DL. And it's a precursor to L-DOPA for more of adrenaline and then converts to dopamine. So it's really good for chronic pain because it gives you more of energy. Excellent. So a lot of people take a lot of dopamine, but I mean it's hard to find up here in Canada.
SpeakerI just ordered it through iHerb.com. That's where I get all my supplements. Nice.
BubblemanThrow it in the link, the chat link.
SpeakerAnd why me know how things work, let me find that link for you guys. And what was the one for arthritis?
SpeakerI think it was Gavin.
BubblemanI got some people in the chat. There's a few people that are trying to get in the chat.
SpeakerGavin.
SpeakerNow Mike has a bottle that has an amino acid that helps block the psychoactive effects of THC. There you go.
SpeakerI'm getting it. Do you think that companies will start to recognize that as an acceptable way to be dosed while at work?
SpeakerWell, that totally depends on... I mean, then what's the harm, right?
BubblemanWell, the harm would be... I would think that certain people with certain jobs, it would not be ideal for them to use cannabis throughout the day. Like, say if they were maybe operating heavy machinery and they were on, like, high doses where it was, like, clearly affecting them, there's definitely situations where you might have a job that you can't medicate at I understand it.
BubblemanEddie's got the City Code CDP code.
SpeakerOkay, here's going to be a link, you guys, to Green Passion. If you're not a member of that forum, then you would have to go there. Here is going to be two papers. One is on understanding the neomatrix of the endocannabinoid system. The other one, a couple things down after some comments, will be why amino acids work. Both those papers there will give you some very good information on just how things help.
SpeakerAwesome. Very good. Again, well, let me post a web address on the forum.
BubblemanAll right, we need to make a quick decision. I can help you with that in a second, John. Nick from Potcoin would like to come in. Maybe some of the people that have been in here and haven't chatted, I might need one of your spaces if you want to volunteer and leave the room. Otherwise, I'll just pick someone and give them a quick boot so Nick and Robert can get in.
BubblemanI need at least one, potentially two spots in the room. If it opens up, you're welcome to come back.
SpeakerYeah, you can kick me, man. We're going to kick off, guys. See you later.
BubblemanOh, there's one. So let's see if that works for Nick. Bye. Mike and Hedy, thanks for coming in.
SpeakerOh, they're gone. See you guys soon. Johnny B. So when you consume amino acids, is that like a protein or, Well, they're just your standard amino acids. Make a quick decision. They're building blocks. See, basically your DNA and the way I look at things, GABA. Everything I take is natural supplements and everything helps. To me, with my pain every day, and it's something I've worked on for years, it's something that helps me.
SpeakerI find that the phosphatidylserine is something that just kind of takes that fog out from chronic pain and gives me more clarity. Where the tyrosine helps with dopamine, and because I'm in a lot of pain and stuff, dopamine makes my pain, I mean, it throws it all over the place, so I try to balance that. So it just kind of made more sense to me, dealing with, of course, being on heavy opiates with addiction and stuff like that.
SpeakerLearning about dopamine and serotonin, I mean, these are just the certain things that help regulate those basically, the neuromodulators. And then GABA slows down pain transmission. It's more of a natural calmer in the central nervous system. Taking that with the rare forms of THC, it just really helps me every day. So I take the natural GABA with my oral forms of THC, and that's what gives me my, I guess, my Jevity.
SpeakerJohn, how many of those amino acids would you say could be found in the actual cannabis seed? Like, not saying, like, the amounts are in high proportions, but if they could be bred, like, can we, like, I always thought, like, well, why can't I grow a fatter seed? Why do I, like, let's say I wasn't looking for other genetic traits in a phenol, but I was just looking for fatter seed heads because I was trying to get more of a nut yield.
SpeakerYes. Things like that, I figured like, well, could we go back into cannabis and try to get that recipe of amino acids that you're having to basically import at, you know, sounds like a hard level. Could we get that back into a product that we could start developing?
BubblemanJason Callaway bred a hemp strain called Finlandia. Finland? Finland? And then a number. Or you... Fintopia, I believe was the name of the strain. That's the one. So this is Jace Calloway, PhD, growing hemp in Finland where it was snowing early in the fall and affecting the crops. So he bred a strain that had a higher concentration of oil in the seed, which of course didn't freeze and could survive frost.
BubblemanThe frosting was beyond frosting. It was like full-fledged, like six, eight inches of snow.
SpeakerSo he brought over some of that root or alice genetics from Russia.
BubblemanHe did some root or alice, but he did some other. He basically had access. Jace Calloway has connected for sure. He had access to world strains, and he bred that strain in through specific traits of specific things that he found around the world, and he really did some incredible work in a short period of time because the percentage of seed oil that his seeds produced We're higher than any other strain, obviously.
BubblemanThat's how they were staying alive. The embryo was able to stay alive.
SpeakerYeah, I know that in the organic health food community, hemp seeds are becoming a big thing, and there might be people already breeding towards those ends. That just might not be on our radar because they're not selling it for that purpose. They're making oil with it. There's my problem with that.
SpeakerLet's rage about CBD. And a lot of these CBD strains all over the world, they're all patented. They're all patented. They won't be genetically modified over the years to read out THC and stuff like that so they have certain percentages on them. Now we're taking a lot of these CBD strain males and crossing them into cannabis strains and my way of what they're doing is they're slowly patenting a lot of strains without us even really seeing it.
SpeakerThat's just how I feel. But I mean a lot of these CBD strains, they've been bred but they've been bred specifically Basically, they're all GMO to get rid of certain cannabinoids out of it to breed fiber for the oils, for the proteins out of it and stuff like that. So taking these hemp strains and breeding them into cannabis strains, I'm just kind of starting to get scared of it when I'm hearing too many people are doing it now, in my opinion.
SpeakerI hear where that sounds. I see where I'm like, oh shit, yeah, they could genetically modify it just for the fiber and forget us completely. No, they have been. That's breeding projects. I've talked to one seed breeder who has breeder status and they've been breeding these strains for years, right? They've been trying to breed out. Certain things out of it so they can get bigger yields, they get bigger trunks, they get more seed, like they're trying to get as much seed in there as possible.
SpeakerSo that's what they did with the chickpea seed, right? So the chickpeas for hummus and stuff like that. I mean there's a line between breeding generationally and then just splicing and removing what you don't want. So I mean if you tell me people have been breeding and working hard, I'm like yeah that sounds great. Then you tell me whoa they spliced it to get the result, I'm like oh no that sounds like our end.
SpeakerSo I mean is it a matter of who's doing it and who's got the dollars and should we be breeding our hemp? There's a big difference between inserting a foreign gene to get an outcome as opposed to selective breeding. That's always like the big thing again. GMO is fine. Selective breeding is modifying. It's like, yeah, except for when you put a fish gene inside of it to make it do that.
SpeakerAnd it's not.
BubblemanHey, I wanted to introduce Nick into the room. He came in a few minutes ago while we were talking about amino acids. He's from Potcoin, the digital pot currency. How's it going, Nick?
SpeakerWhat's going on, everybody? Yeah, doing good, man. Live from Montreal. Nice.
BubblemanNice. That's one of the other cities in Canada that I really have an appreciation for. Lots of good... Great in the summertime just for laughs and the jazz festival and the drum circle at the park there. It's all just good.
SpeakerYeah, town times is a big circle of people who come in and drum and they have a big gathering on Sunday to smoke weed and hang out and chill out and that's where all the donors gather. It's great. So many people. Yeah, there's probably about 5,000, 6,000 people there on a good day.
BubblemanI know, right? Every Sunday, dude. Like, how fucking cool is that?
SpeakerIt's been going on for maybe 20 years or something.
BubblemanDude, I was there 15 plus years ago for sure.
SpeakerYeah, it's definitely stable.
BubblemanMaybe even more. Holy Christ.
BubblemanDo I know of Frenchy Cannoli Hash Methods? Of course I do. He is with TGA, yes. He's a hash maker who likes to create a different texture of his hash. So that's his sort of thing, his cannolis.
SpeakerThey're awesome.
BubblemanYeah, there's nothing wrong with a good cannoli. Oh, yeah.
SpeakerHe's a fun guy to talk to as well.
BubblemanWhat do you have to say about that, Josh?
BubblemanHashmaker Josh, Hashmaker Josh. You told me I make real hash. Excellent. Good to hear. I've never actually linked up with him in person, but I suspect he knows I make real hash. Because it was pressed, oh my gosh. Yeah, he's very into pressing his hash. I've never had the actual conversation with him, but one day I'll explain to him, I'll say, hey, do you know why hash was first pressed?
BubblemanLike, mostly just to adulterate it and to Smuggle it. It's sure nice in powder. I like to see what I'm getting. I don't mind pressing it right before I hit it. I just like to have it in powder, unless really, I mean, some stuff like this stuff just self-presses itself. That old sort of seven-year-old stuff that's pretty stable hash, but it's just sticky as, like, gooey shit.
BubblemanIt's so dark, too. It's... Yeah. It's seven years old. It's red.
SpeakerI like the pink wine powder.
BubblemanHey, you see this new D-nail curve, Josh?
SpeakerOh, that is sexy.
BubblemanWhere's that little dabber? Some little dabber goes in the hole there. Shoot.
SpeakerOh, wait, what?
BubblemanYeah, that's awesome.
SpeakerDidn't the pressed hash start with like the culero, which is basically they would like roll it in their hands and compress it to smuggle it?
BubblemanNo, no, no. Sufi hashish eaters were eating hashish like thousands of years before that. But countries like Morocco really only started making hash in like the 60s. People were like, they've been making hash there for thousands of years. It's like, no, they have not actually. It was a Nigerian fellow by the name of Mustafa, if I am correct. You can check the hashish by Robert Connell Clark.
BubblemanBut I believe it was a Nigerian fellow who brought Lebanese screening technique to Morocco in 1964 or 65. And who would have thought that a single guy could have such a massive effect on a country? The whole rift planted full of weed and just tons and tons of hash. Tons and tons and tons and tons. Tons on top of those tons and more tons. Good on you, Mustafa.
BubblemanGood on you, brother. You like that, Pete?
SpeakerYeah, dude. How you doing, man?
BubblemanYou good? Yes, welcome. Welcome. Where are you from, man? Amsterdam, brother. Oh, right. Shit, I didn't recognize you for a second without your big wall mural behind you.
SpeakerYeah, no, I'm in the process of moving, so life has been chaotic, man.
BubblemanBut you're staying in Amsterdam?
SpeakerYep.
BubblemanCool. Well, we'll see you in three weeks or something.
SpeakerYeah. Well, I'm bouncing back to the Mediterranean for eight days, and then I'll be back for Cannabis Cup. Yeah.
BubblemanAnd maybe Chile, and then I'm going to go to Amsterdam. But I have Jamaica already booked. We've got a conference there for our company, Cannabinoid Research and Development with United Cannabis. So that's exciting. And then I don't know if I'm going to do Chile. It sort of freaks me out, but lots of my friends are doing it. It's a very long trip, seven-hour flight only from Jamaica, but a 16 to 18-hour total flight back from Santiago to Amsterdam.
BubblemanSo I can fly and stuff, but fuck, there is a breaking point where And you know what? It's not good to get super fucking choked around, like, airport security and customs people. I think it's how, like, good people... Yeah.
SpeakerYeah, it's easy. I mean, I traveled to Germany a few weeks ago with my medicine. Yeah, what happened in Germany? And I didn't have any problems at all traveling. It was the first time with my medicinal cannabis, and I had problems at all. Well, my next one I'm a little nervous on. I have like 40 grams maybe or more.
BubblemanYeah, when you have 40 grams or more, you should bring Johnny B with you so he can call the security girl a fucking bitch. Have them push the button and the police get called. He's gone. I'm standing there like... And the girl looks at me. I'll never forget this, John. I'll never forget this. You were pretty gone. You were mad. I was mad. It was all good.
BubblemanIt was kind of worthwhile, but not really. And she looks at me, and she's been fucking with me the whole time, and John just can't handle it. He's like, she's fucking with him. She's fucking with me. He's standing there. He's pacing. I'm like, oh, John needs a bong rep. I can tell. His knees hurt and shit. He's kind of holding himself differently. And I hang out with John enough to know when he needs a bong rep. We've been in the airport for eight minutes.
BubblemanJohn needs a bong rep. All of a sudden he's just like, she says something and he's like, well this chick's just being a fucking bitch. Was it a bitch, John, or a cunt? I can't remember. That's funny. Was it bitch?
SpeakerI called her a fucking bitch.
BubblemanThen she looks at me, oh no, you called her a fucking bitch and then you ran away.
SpeakerNo, I walked away. I said, you're a fucking bitch.
BubblemanThen she looked at her friend and said, Denise, push the button. And her friend pushed the button and I was like, oh, the button, not the button. This could be very bad. And then she said to me, you said that. And I said, what? And she said, you said that. And I said, no, I didn't say that. My friend just said it and you know he said it.
BubblemanBut to peg it on me, freaked me right out when she said that actually. I was happy that there were so many cameras around. I was like, you know what? There's enough cameras and microphones that we'll be able to figure out who said it very quickly. Not that I was throwing John under the bus, but I was myself rolling around under the bus he had just tossed me under.
SpeakerI came back and I was like, yeah, I said it. I said, I'm disabled. And I told the cop she was being a bitch. Nobody deserves the disrespect they give you at the airport.
BubblemanYeah, but here's the thing. If you're a traveler and you appreciate your ability to travel, you just lop up any shit those guys want to serve you. Just lop it up. Don't fuck with those guys, man. Holy Christ.
SpeakerI'm being told to take the medical section now. I just described that I'm medical and I don't have to deal with the bullshit anymore apparently.
BubblemanAlright, we've got to let Nick tell us a little bit about this pot coin because I have an interest in hearing more about it.
SpeakerSo, hey guys, so basically if you know what bitcoins are, we are the version for the marijuana industry and this all came about around nine months ago when everything was going down in Colorado and there was a lot of problems with keeping cash and keeping track of everything and So we decided to make our own version dedicated for the cannabis industry and really build the coin around the community.
SpeakerAnd so it's pretty simple. You can download it on your phone or you can use it on your computer. And it's basically like digital money. You have a wallet and have an address and The addresses are anonymous, so you can send and receive money completely anonymously. So it's pretty simple. You've got your wallet here, and you can log in, and basically you're able to get coins directly on your phone, and from there, if you go to any kind of dispensary, you're basically eliminating money, and And it's instant transactions, so it's really, it's definitely more secure than using money.
SpeakerSo we've been developing this for a while now, and we have over about 40 dispensaries, or sorry, 40 different merchants signed up from, you know, we have Azirius.net, and we've been working with... Thank you for joining us today.
SpeakerAnd meeting all the different people and, you know, I'm more on the technical side of things. I've been doing the web development. So, yeah, it's definitely the way of, you know, to pay for things. And so, sorry. What kind of cash out options do you offer for vendors? That's one of the big things with Bitcoins. It's quite hard to cash them out. Yeah, well, in Canada, we actually were able to cash out now via Interact Payment, which helps out.
SpeakerAnd so that's the big thing. You can convert. We have a software called Coingateway.net, which you can convert your pot coins to bitcoins or to any other currency also. So that's another way of doing it. But, yeah, that's basically what was happening with Coingateway. You know, Bitcoin was that, if they found out that, you know, when you went to cash them out, you know, they were thinking, well, you know, this is related to marijuana, so we can't actually cash you out.
SpeakerSo I think it was in the news when they first started trying to use Bitcoin. But this is definitely, you know, it's... The ability to convert your coins to Bitcoin from Potcoin is definitely one of the easier ways. But we're going to be... We have a site called Local Pot, which allows you to buy and sell your Potcoins directly there through a number of payments. So that's one of the ways of doing it also.
SpeakerAnd yeah, I think that... Canada is definitely the next big thing because we're trying to push it here because of being able to pay people out via Interact, via payments. So I think, yeah. You can get your wallet at potwallet.com and it's free to set up. There's no transaction fees which is really cool. And yeah, this gives you the ability to send and receive money anonymously. And yeah, it's definitely, you know, we think that in the next, you know, six to seven months, our adoption is going to go, you know, start growing a lot more.
SpeakerAnd it's definitely the way of the future.
BubblemanVery cool. Well, you heard it first here at Hash Church, guys. Potcoin. How cool is that? I mean, jeez. I guess the second generation will be Hashcoin. More concentrated, more valuable chips.
SpeakerWell, thanks for having me on, man. I appreciate it.
BubblemanYeah, absolutely. One guy asked in regards to the Potcoin and whether they fluctuate like Bitcoin.
SpeakerYeah, they do fluctuate, but what we do for our merchants is when you accept the payment at, say, whatever the rate is for that day, it locks that in, and then so when we cash you out, you get the same rate that it was accepted at. That's a big deal for anyone who's not used to it. That's not common. Usually you get screwed over time, so that's a pretty big deal.
SpeakerWell, you have a choice, you know, you have a choice of either holding onto your coins if you want or, you know, cashing them out directly to cash at that rate. So that's definitely, you know, people were concerned about that. And it's definitely, you know, the benefit of merchants want to know that when they accept cash, you know, or accept POC coins that they're going to get the equivalent amount and that they have the tracking for, obviously, for taxes and whatnot.
SpeakerYeah, I bought Bitcoins once from Coinbase. Good site, but I had to wait a whole week. I paid $350. By the time they cleared it, I only got $250 worth. I mean, that's what they made on their timeline. They made money off of me.
SpeakerBut yeah, that's stand-up. I really, you know, I like how you guys are up front about it. You're doing it right and doing it right by the people. Yeah, well, you know, we wanted to really have a community around it and everybody who, you know, participates in it also benefits from it because, you know, as more people use it and more people adopt it, the price goes up just like Bitcoins, you know.
SpeakerA few years ago, Bitcoins were, you know, five cents and now they're at, you know, a few hundred dollars, so. As we get adoption, as we get more people involved, as more people start using it, that'll really drive the price up and anybody who's an early adopter will really benefit from it.
BubblemanExcellent, excellent. Well, that's all great information and I'm happy to have you come by and share it here on Hash Church. It's very cool. You guys can check that out at
BubblemanWallet.potcoin.com, that's where you can redeem and I guess create your... That's for the gift certificate.
SpeakerYou can check potwallet.com, which is our wallet that's really the easiest to... You can actually send potcoins via SMS, you can send via email, and you can set up your merchant wallet right there, and that'll give you your own custom URL where you can accept payments.
BubblemanVery cool, very cool. So I have a friend who's trying to get in right now, Brian Schroeder from D-Nail, one of the creators of the D-Nail, one of my favorite devices. I use it pretty much every single day. It's one of the only ways I really hit my phytocannabinoids these days, and he's trying to get in but keeps getting brought into an empty chat room when I link him into here.
BubblemanSo can anyone kind of offer any help as to what Oh, I don't think anyone needs to leave. I think we can have ten people.
SpeakerSo it's the same link that you sent to all of us. Is he already signed into his Google account?
BubblemanYeah, he says he's already signed in.
SpeakerJust have one of us resend the link that we got to him. Let's see if that works.
SpeakerIs he using... It's really best if you use Google Chrome. I know that might be controversial, but...
BubblemanSorry, I'm just talking really quick here. I got a couple of messages from Tony Verzura. He's sorry that he couldn't make it in. He's actually just booking, getting on a flight back from New York City. Let me know a little bit of really cool news, but I'm just going to wait for it. You should hear about it Wednesday or Thursday of this month. You'll have another really, really cool You Can announcement.
BubblemanAnd, yeah, loving it.
SpeakerYou having another kid?
BubblemanDid someone have another kid?
SpeakerAre you having another one? No more kids. No more babies. I don't know.
BubblemanYou know, I still have a baby right now, so it's like... At this point, I very much have a baby right now. It's like he is just completely like two months old. Still has no name, if you can imagine. I said it here, right here. Let's hear all the crazy comments now. What? Your kid has no name? That's crazy. Crazy talk. I have five. Lefumo Pipe. Send me a message on Facebook.
BubblemanMan, it's a good thing that I'm looking at this chat every once in a while because people are like... Let's see, if you put the link, you should take me there. It keeps putting me in a new chat. If you link by Facebook, it should take me there.
SpeakerWell, you know, it's great to feel a part of something. That's why people want to join. But yeah, it's funny because you know, you said freshheadies.bubbleman is the correct one, but the incorrect one is bubbleman. Yeah, whichever one it is, the wrong one is the reverse.
BubblemanThey're not wrong, they're both mine, it's just that one already has 5,000 people following it and I can't add any more people, and the other is a page that you like and all you have to do is like it and then you gain access, you can send private messages, you can Read the links that I send, so that's why I send people to what you would refer to as the right one.
BubblemanBut the wrong one is just my other Facebook page.
SpeakerGotcha. That's a nice looking there.
BubblemanHey, nice to see you, Dominique. Thanks for coming in. Sorry that you're hurting, dude. That sucks. I hope you're feeling better.
SpeakerHe likes to be hurting.
BubblemanOkay, Lafuma wants to get in. Let me go check to see if he just sent me a message here. Don't see a message.
SpeakerYeah, I don't know what I would do for my pain without cannabis.
BubblemanI wonder if there's a way to invite him within this chat room. Like, can I invite people in here?
SpeakerI think you can. You should be able to post a link.
BubblemanNo, I'm not talking about posting a link. I'm talking about... Inviting someone in from here, from in this chat room.
SpeakerTry clicking their name. Does that give you an option menu?
BubblemanI don't know. Two people talked at the same time, so I didn't understand. But I think it's fine. Those that want to come in will just have to use the link that I linked everyone else. If it's not working, I apologize.
SpeakerIt's a weird glitch.
BubblemanHello, Canna Medication, who's saying hello in chat.
SpeakerIt's not a glitch, you have to upgrade, so if they can hear us, I had to do it myself in the beginning, you have to do an upgrade or an accept something in order to be in the live stream of this, so they'll figure it out, but if you guys can hear us, there'll be a little link that you have to click to upgrade or to accept the live link.
SpeakerYou have to accept the terms and conditions. Yeah, or you just go into a blank room. Oh, yeah, and it says, okay, got it. Yeah. Yeah. I just thought, I guess I just thought that was very intuitive, but yeah.
BubblemanAll right, well, I have told him. Did you say something right before that, Pete? Did you say, hey, Mark?
SpeakerYeah, I was just going to slide in. I didn't know if I had told you, if I, I was going to ask you if I had told you about why I was a medical patient. Because I told you, when I told Johnny B before, too, on, I think on Facebook, that I was using it for chronic pain, but I didn't tell you the story. Right. I think that was the last time we had spoke.
SpeakerYes.
BubblemanGo ahead.
SpeakerYeah, I didn't know if you guys were up for hearing stories tonight or if that's what we're doing, we're sharing stories.
BubblemanYeah, people are sharing their stories, you know, it helps us get to know one another and there's inspiration to be found in, unfortunately, the sometimes not so good stories.
SpeakerRight. I mean, that's kind of how I found you and Johnny B as well. You know, I mean, like, I watch John's videos all the time as well. Big fan, obviously, brother and friend. And, you know, obviously an advocate as well. I'm almost 40 years old. I moved to the Mediterranean about five years ago. And I started a personal training business. And it went really, really well.
SpeakerI had a really good business going and all that, which is really cool to do. And long story short, a few years into my business and epic training, which I was still smoking.
SpeakerYou got muted.
BubblemanYou have to unmute yourself.
SpeakerJoshua, don't troll.
BubblemanOh, he did that accidentally. He's not a troll. Sorry, Pete. Go ahead. You have to unmute yourself. Your mic got muted.
SpeakerOkay. Is that all right? Can you hear me?
BubblemanYes, you're perfect. Joshua just made a mistake.
SpeakerNo problem. So this boss ran a stop sign and took me off my bike. And shattered my tibia, crushed my foot. And I lost two centimeters of bone in my right leg. I've had three orthopedic surgeries and two plastic surgeries. The hell of a scar. So you can see why I probably want to make my own medicine. And that's what I'm working on here. I'm trying to, now that I have my medicine...
SpeakerI'm forced to pay for it here, and that's the thing that they're monopolizing, that I was talking about the monopoly system with their program. That bedroom can? Yeah, but the thing is that I want to see lab results on this. I want to see the cannabinoid profiles. I want to see some cannabinoid profiles that you'll find in TGA stuff that has a potential to maybe add to the bone growth and the bone density.
SpeakerYou know, and that's stuff that I'm sure you're not going to find in Bedrocan. This isn't Bedrocan in my jar. This is holy grail.
BubblemanNice, nice. Yeah, exactly. It's the Bedrocan jar.
SpeakerFucking right. You know how that is. But so, you know, that's the whole point. And then do I have to buy it for the rest of my life? You know, why should I have to buy something that's not going to work for me, you know?
BubblemanTrue, and do you have to, does the government pay for that for you?
SpeakerOh, hell no, hell no. No, it's expensive, it's low, Mike. There's no, there's no insurance, I don't have insurance like that. I mean, there's healthcare coverage where I live in Europe, you know, and now I live in Amsterdam, which is the same health coverage. If I got hurt, then they would, you know, take care of me. I do, you know, all the surgeries and that, and that costs a lot of money, but there's other things that...
Speakerare very different. I'm half American as well, so I grew up with 30 years of American laws and that whole mindset on if someone does you injustice, you know, you end up settling for millions in America or, you know, Canada probably as well. I don't know what it's like in Canada.
BubblemanWe're not big on this.
SpeakerYeah, well, America is. You know how they are gung-ho on that whole thing. But it's a very different structure. It's more of they take care of you if you get hurt, and if you're sick and suffering, you kind of are on your own. You pay for your own medication.
BubblemanRight. Well, luckily, some places are having that paid for. I know Alexander, who was in here recently last week from Germany, he was using that Bedrocan, five grams a day, which he said was almost 200 euros. And it was covered by his insurance company.
SpeakerOh, wow, no. Yeah, I know. I was listening to him, but that's not how it is for me. But then again, it works for him, but it doesn't necessarily work for all people.
BubblemanNo, he didn't like it. He wasn't stoked on it at all. He was really kind of bummed with it, actually.
SpeakerRight. Well, you know what the thing is? It's the first step. It's the first step in order to help teach people that there is other cannabinoid profiles that other patients need. And there's no point in us buying this, and they cannot monopolize that system. They have to allow us at least to grow a certain amount of medicine so that we can at least better our condition or have a medicine that works more appropriate for us with cannabinoid profiles that are designed basically for that purpose.
SpeakerI have a chart that shows me an ailment guide with cannabinoid profiles. It's really cool. So I've shown it to my doctor and all that, and We'll see what happens.
BubblemanHey, welcome, LaFumo Pipe. Thanks for sharing your story, Pete. You've got to turn off the YouTube chat.
BubblemanJust turn the volume on, and then you might want to tell the people in the background if they're screaming not to scream. It comes through very loud.
SpeakerGo to my Facebook page and send me a message and I'll send you a link to some information. That's the best way right now.
BubblemanWhat's up everybody? Saying hello.
SpeakerWhat's up Tim?
BubblemanOilhead, BMW. Oh, I forgot. Morning guys. How are you doing Tim?
SpeakerWhat's up Brian?
SpeakerHey John, I Facebooked you. Could you send me those links? Right now.
SpeakerWhat was that? Subcool seeds? Yeah.
BubblemanNice. Nice, nice, nice. Well, it's almost time for dabs. I'm going to maybe go get myself a nice big glass of water. Where did you send the message to?
SpeakerTo John H. Profelo on Facebook.
SpeakerI feel like I'm finding all the wrong names or something. I don't know. It was easy for me to get in with John suddenly.
SpeakerDo you see a picture of me in a field of ganja or do you see a picture of my dad? Picture of what? I see your kitchen. I see you with your 70 micron shirt, I think.
BubblemanThat's 120.
SpeakerThe color gives it away. 120, yeah.
BubblemanThe orange one. Color coded. And I knew John was going to have that shirt on because I pulled it out of my closet today and I was like, no, John will have this one on today. I put it back in. I had the 73 on last night thinking you were going to wear the 120 last night.
SpeakerBut yeah, John H., enjoy your evening and if you're just getting up on your morning, enjoy your sifty Sunday. I am or soon will be.
SpeakerRight here. Send me a message. Private message me.
BubblemanYes, you guys have that conversation in private and we'll let Hash Church stick to the quality of All the quality information of people sharing their stories, people talking about how cannabis helps them. And of course, the feeding of our endocannabinoid systems can't only be done through the inhalation of phytocannabinoids, but we are required to get some into our bodies other ways. So I was talking earlier about Buddha Butter cream that they sell at different dispensaries in Vancouver.
BubblemanThis is a nice little cream. It helps with arthritic pain. It's a Just bubble hash that he's used to break down into the shea nut butter, and it's very smooth. Works very good. Yeah, I have that as well here, the green bars. Those are good. I like to rub them on my neck. I got the CBC cream from United Cannabis.
BubblemanIt's good to have different forms of... Oh, D-Nail Official made it into the room. He's been trying for 10 minutes. Yes, this is spyware. Awesome. Welcome, Brian.
BubblemanHe was tripping on how to reduce his security in order to get in.
SpeakerI'm so sorry. He's running on high. I'm going to pop out for a few minutes, bud. So if you want to let someone else in, I'm going to pop out. I've got to make a phone call anyway.
BubblemanThanks for coming by, dude.
SpeakerWe'll talk soon. Absolutely, bro. Thank you. Peace.
BubblemanCan you hear us, Brian? Email? Official?
SpeakerYou're actually coming through my TV right now. Can you hear us?
SpeakerYeah, what's up? I don't know all you guys. Yeah, I can hear him. He said he could hear us through his TV. I can't really hear him. You're a bit quiet, though, Tina. I tend to be a bit quiet. I can talk louder, though, and I don't do that.
BubblemanOh yeah, his mic's coming through really, really, really quiet. That's too bad. Alright, first lesson. When you're hacking up a lung, put your microphone on mute, because nobody wants to hear that shit. You can actually inhale your bong rip, and then as you're about to exhale it, you can mute your microphone.
SpeakerAnd then... That's 21st century getting high.
BubblemanThat's what I'm saying. You've got to have your mouse in one hand, your DNA in the other. Just one click, man. Your dabber in your mouth.
SpeakerYour cell phone in the other hand, twittering.
BubblemanTwittering and twattering.
SpeakerYou could probably modify the app so that it does facial recognition and automatically mutes you while you're taking a rip.
BubblemanThere we go. Rip recognition?
SpeakerI don't think it exists.
BubblemanWell, we should invent it right now. We just came up with another great idea. Well, you did. I just repeated it and then took credit for it.
SpeakerYeah, by all means. Just keep saying that you came up with it. We'll give you the credit. That's fine.
BubblemanOkay, sweet. This was recorded, and some people know that that's not the truth, but you know what? I'll just block and delete those people one by fucking one.
SpeakerSaying that you did it first is more important than doing it first in the public's eye.
BubblemanI think so.
SpeakerI'm Brian, by the way. I don't have a picture of me up. I have a metal beard from the Lego movie. It works.
BubblemanGood to see you, Brian. Brian's from D-Nail. A nice company.
SpeakerYou can tell I'm sophisticated because I have a monocle.
SpeakerThat does up the class factor by at least one point.
BubblemanOr are we being ten years old?
SpeakerHey, it's alright to be a kid every now and again.
BubblemanI think so, that's why I asked. Is that what's happening here? We're being ten years old, Johnny's got his doctorate.
SpeakerWell, John did it, and then I clicked a thing and it installed an application, and now I'm awesome. It's spyware. Chronicles, Legos, details. Is that a Waldo hat?
BubblemanI think it's a... But it could be Waldo.
SpeakerFair enough.
BubblemanKing without a crown. It's time for a bong rip though, everyone. So please, please, please get your D-nails ready. If you don't have a D-nail, sorry, you're not allowed to take a hit for this rip.
SpeakerI'll tell you guys a funny story. No, no, everyone smoke what you got. I was seen on the beach. It was a lady. It was topless. Yeah, I think I know what you mean. I can't believe I even seen that. I just opened the page up and was like, ooh. This wears Waldo in a... No. I'm pretty sure they called that one wears Willie.
BubblemanOh, man. That is wonderful.
SpeakerBagels with some eggs. You got your bagels. Bagels. How about that Wagyu beef?
BubblemanYes, late last night, we all got together, Horatio and myself and the crew over at LaFumo Pipes Place right now, and we went and ate delicious Japanese food in Vancouver. Why don't we give a shout out to your buddy's restaurant, LaFumo?
SpeakerIt's Shirokawa on 12 Water Street in Gastown.
BubblemanShirokawa. So here's the thing. It's not really on Water Street. It's like behind a building on Water Street. It's important that you know that if you do go to find it because you'll never fucking find it if you're looking for it otherwise. But you just kind of go through this door and you're in this kind of outside inside hallway and there it is and wow, it was really delicious.
BubblemanI enjoyed the spicy tofu. Horatio and I shared a little bit of spicy tuna. Of course, we thought we needed more bread, so it became an issue. We had to order more bread. The kitchen was closing. After we ordered more bread, we ordered more and more bread. It was all good in the end. We laughed. We had fun. We loved it. The chef was great, and it was pretty enjoyable.
SpeakerI wish we had some of that bread right now.
BubblemanYeah, that's fine. What did they call that bread again? Milk bread. Milk bread. You got it, Horatio. Good memory. I do remember it was $1.50 though. Well, of course, per, I mean. Per six sliced order. That's six slices of bread, man. That's pretty reasonable for $1.50 if you ask me. What's that, $0.25 a piece? No, no. They were thumb-sized pieces of bread. Hey, you got a big thumb, dude.
BubblemanCome on.
SpeakerThe quality is paramount. When something's really good, it does not matter what it is.
BubblemanThat's what I'm saying right there, Brian. It was really quite delicious.
SpeakerIt was a good thing.
BubblemanYeah, I really like the new curve, dude. I do have the other one here plugged into my Swiss perk, which is another Quartz Bowl. A little mini guy that was sent. I haven't tried that one out yet. And then I also have the whip with this bowl. I kind of was showing everyone earlier.
SpeakerYeah, that's probably the most complicated titanium mail that anyone's ever bothered making.
BubblemanAnd so it goes around here, right?
SpeakerYeah, it goes around the outside. Have you opened up the, oh, no, it goes around the top. You just slide it over the top of the dish.
BubblemanReally? But what about, it's not this one then?
SpeakerYep, that's the flat coil. The flat coil we sent you to make sure that you just had some various sizes. The titanium nail takes the 16 mil.
BubblemanTakes the 16 mil. Awesome.
SpeakerIs it possible that you don't have one in your collection?
BubblemanA what? A what?
SpeakerThe 16 millimeter heater?
BubblemanYeah, it's right here.
SpeakerThat looks like it. Yep, that one just goes over the top of the titanium.
BubblemanBeautiful. So explain to me then... What this guy does?
SpeakerThat guy? It's a pretty versatile heater. You can put it on an infinity nail, you can put it on pretty much anything that screws apart that you can get it in.
BubblemanOkay, cool. So it's your versatile, like, use with any nail heater.
SpeakerYeah, we threw one on a KO Dome list, we threw one on some of our titanium, we threw, um, Happy Daddy was, uh, Making an insert so they could use our 20 mil heaters on the Genesis. We found out that the flat coil works better without their insert than it does with the 20 mil in their insert. It's flat. That's really it.
BubblemanYou've got a titanium nail that I'll get you to talk a little bit about in a second. And then you've got the quartz. This is the Puking B?
SpeakerYep, that's the Puking Beagle. That's just the standard quartz that you and I came up with.
BubblemanNon-ground, too. I kind of like that. It was nice.
SpeakerWell, it's a flame-polished ground joint. He flame-polishes them to give a little bit better aesthetics.
BubblemanI really like it.
SpeakerYeah, dude, that guy does what no one else can do.
BubblemanYeah, I understand that for sure. I really appreciate his glass, his quartz, sorry, his technique, his ability. He's really quite a blower. So tell us a little bit about this nail.
SpeakerThat's the V2 D-mail titanium that we've been working on for about a year and a half now. It took a lot of machine considerations. People that really know their shoes take a look at it and say, wow, that's ridiculously complicated. The goal was to start with something that had a lower height, an offset air intake, and a better heat sink and a smaller amount of real estate.
SpeakerOne simple thing that we did on that one first was the triple taper joint where we took the real estate inside the double male and added the 10 female. That doubles as a 10 female joint and also a claim catch and also the bottom end of a Bernoulli tube. If you look at, I don't have any of the airflow simulations I can pull up, but yeah, they're on our website.
SpeakerThe way that that nail is designed, you've got a really, really A high amount of function in a small amount of space. You've got a vented heat sink. You've got a really big tube with the internal chambers and then the bottom chamber. The hollow space where your fingers are right now acts as an internal air cushion on the heat sink and helps the thermodynamics so that the temperature levels out almost exactly evenly across the whole dish.
SpeakerAnd the offset air intake opens up for much easier use. You don't have to swirl things around the rim.
BubblemanWow, that's so cool, man. And then what are these holes under here, sorry?
SpeakerOh, the holes are so that the heat sink can vent. You notice that the rings are all really tight together. When you're designing a heat sink, you want surface area, but you don't want to trap the hot air so it can't escape. So having those really thin rings with the vents through them gives as much heat sink capacity in that small amount of space as something about twice the size normally would.
SpeakerIt's just a bitch thing.
BubblemanNow I haven't used this, but are they finding a fair amount of reclaim building up on this little chamber? Is this a little reclaim chamber almost?
SpeakerThat's a primary reclaim chamber, but you'll find that unless you're running really low, if you're running really low temperatures, you might get some of your reclaim building up there initially. Otherwise, that's going to be a little bit hotter. That space is where a lot of the hot air is going to trap and feed right in so that you can have a nice even heat to eat the fish.
SpeakerDepending on what temperature you're running. That nail's also super duper efficient, so if you just set your heater at about 900, let it smoke off and poke it, it'll clean out everything. That's just the dependent heat thing.
BubblemanWell, it's definitely a nice looking nail. I'll get it going and have a little session while we're in here with both the polished, flame polished quartz, as well as the new, what do you call it, the V2?
BubblemanV2.
SpeakerWe had a couple of other names, but when we designed that one, we were studying World War II era jet engines, and the V2 rocket was kind of the pinnacle of that at the time, so we just thought, V2 means version 2, and it's really heavily used as a name, but V2 after, also that particular rocket was super duper ahead of its time, and had ridiculous amounts of machining setbacks, so that's kind of a big name.
BubblemanSo did Task Rock collaborate on this project with you at all?
SpeakerNo, that one we had that run made before Task started making our titanium and we're bringing our designs to him one at a time and that one is one of the next ones to bring.
BubblemanExcellent, well that's great to hear you guys working with Task.
SpeakerOh, phenomenally. There's not a person we'd rather work with. He doesn't have the... He has to get some custom tools in to be able to machine that one, so we're getting our design backlog one at a time now. We have a 45 degree adapter coming out for the titanium joints, which no one's ever bothered making an angle adapter for titanium before.
BubblemanRight. Well, I'm sure loving the curve. What do you call this thing? Is it called the curve, or what do you mean calling it?
SpeakerLong story with the name. We were calling it the spectra curve. The next version is going to have that one, but Ron and Anna from Puking Beagle named it the Dog Dish, so just out of honor to them, we ran with their name, so that's the Dog Dish.
BubblemanWell, then it is the Dog Dish. You heard it first here at Hash Church, guys. This curve that I've been calling the curve is the Dog Dish, and I'm ready to get into the Dog Dish right now and have a little taste. Thank you, Puking Beagle and family.
BubblemanThanks for all the great work you do. Some of us are aware.
SpeakerActually, the Chinese knockoff companies are starting to just use pictures off of their website and my website instead of their own shitty versions of it.
BubblemanDo you want to explain to the audience, and I think this is important, In a non-biased way, because I believe you're a non-biased guy, I believe you're much like Horatio, someone who's in search of excellence and someone who just wants to make the best possible thing. Could you explain to us the difference between something the Beagles would produce out of this high quality quartz versus what you might see coming out of China?
BubblemanPeople are like, oh, 40 bucks, I can get those for 40 bucks. What do you say to that?
SpeakerYou can get them for 8 bucks from China if you order enough. Okay. I've had people that really know what they're talking about in glass, like really know, try to get me to spy to get Ron's quartz connection. So they don't even know how to get raw materials that good. He starts with the best materials. Literally from 25 plus years in the industry, he knows where to get the best materials.
SpeakerHe's spending about $20 per ground joint to have them made in America of the best quality that he can. He's tried working with some of the Chinese courts and he can't even get it to fuse right with his materials because it's such an inferior grade. On top of just that high-end raw material selection, he's got more experience working these things than anybody else. He's able to do designs, he's able to do the work with better precision and just do things that no one else can do.
SpeakerSo you're basically paying for the best quality materials and the best sports worker for nails in the There are people that are better than him with quartz, but they're not, you know, they're making laser optics, they're making parts in laboratories, they're not making nails.
BubblemanRight.
SpeakerHe was famous as a scientific glassblower before he ever made it.
MattVery cool.
SpeakerYou're trying to compare what he does to a Chinese version, you're comparing one of the few masters to something that kind of sort of looks like it. Right. There's not even a point. Right. Like compare your zebra wood denail to like a plywood box that someone slapped together with nails.
BubblemanYeah, there's definitely ingenuity that went into this as I was hitting it the other night. First of all, when I saw this, I thought, I thought, oh, that's cool looking, but I'll never use that as a dabber. And then I realized the shovel that you guys, that he put on it is substantial and I can actually... Get a really nice rip of dry sift on there. Wouldn't you agree, Horatio, that we were getting really, like, what do you think of my first rip last night at Eden, Horatio?
SpeakerWell, I saw it, I saw it hit the dog dish, and I was like, whoa, that's full. But the way the heat encapsulates it and creates a top, it all just immediately flush and went into the melts and it finishes. I mean, I think, did you like the heat you had it set at or have you been playing with it so far? Because it's hard to just be in that right spot.
BubblemanI don't know. I've played with it for a long time and like I said, I've talked about this before. If I had not tried the sublimator, I might hit the denail at a lower temperature. But what I found the sort of magic behind the sublimator was is that it gave this intense, crazy rip. Um, but preserve the terpenes, preserve the flavors. So it told me that you can, that if you, if you get all the, first of all it's this way, the terpenes are volatile and a lower terp hit, why they call it a terp hit is because you're getting the terps but you're certainly not getting any majority of the cannabinoids that require a much higher temperature or they require that temperature for a much longer time than like a 10 or a 15 or a 20 second hit.
BubblemanSo,
BubblemanThat's what I'm saying.
SpeakerThat's something that I've been trying to factor into designs. The fact that you don't just want one temperature in one place at one time. It's a multi-dimensional system. The dabber that I designed for that one was supposed to be more like a spoon where you could actually load something into a cup and then... Having a spoon would allow you to basically use a forced air system over it or turn it to melt everything off and dish into it.
SpeakerWe end up going with the flat point just for the short term. And by having the dabber in place, you're partially capping it. You can pull it out and just turn it sideways to marble cap the opening. You're getting some combination of forced air. You're getting some combination of convection and conduction. But as far as getting the You're right about the chemistry of what you're trying to vaporize being so, so different.
SpeakerThere's not going to be one thing that's sitting there in one place that you can just slap your stuff on and have it work. You're always going to have some sort of a trade-off, whether it's flavor or vaporization speed or even going low and not getting the right ingredients out.
BubblemanRight. And I don't find when I go higher that my hits are super not tasty. I find them to still be extremely tasty. I just find that When I take my rip, this thing in particular, I guess I gummed up my last nail and I needed to clean it. It was just not hitting as good. So getting this yesterday, it made me so excited. Like the first time I hit it, the dry sift just fell into the dog dish and it just like, it literally just melted and bubbled and boiled.
BubblemanI got so fucking high off that rip for like, I didn't puff for like, what would you say, 15, 20 minutes ratio?
SpeakerWell, we all kind of backed off of it because, again, I really noticed how different nails fail to have the radiant energy over what's vaporizing. It's kind of like why I looked at, you know, the Jermichael and all the different ways you could take the same hit of bubble versus, you know, just putting a lighter to it. And... Because I'm typically finicky about the quartz, I saw it balance that radiant heat from the top that it seemed to get high.
SpeakerIt just milked up the piece really quick. And then it slow roasted rest with the temperature cooling down. So, you know, people were getting fucked up left and right.
BubblemanThat was nice. Good old sweet scum.
SpeakerI was designed to have a hot chamber instead of having all the heat escaping off the top and then nothing. So I'm happy that it comes out for you guys in the actual years. Hell yeah, dude. We figure we've got about six to ten months on anything that we design before there's going to be crappy cheap knock-offs of it, so we're just committed to a process of coming up with something new and awesome every few months.
BubblemanPerfect.
BubblemanWell, I'm definitely looking forward to bringing the D-nail down to Jamaica for the conference. I want to show it off as a medical device and a way to inhale phytocannabinoids as one of the options. It would be a cool thing to have. And, of course, at the Cannabis Cup, as always, from the 17th, well, I guess it's the 23rd 23rd to the 27th is the Cannabis Cup, so you can come by and check us out at our booth there.
BubblemanI'm Fresh Hatties Bubble Bags. I might have a 10x10. I might have a 20x10. I haven't really figured it out yet, but I will have a booth. And if you think you have some beautiful hash that you've made, it's melty, it's delicious, it's wonderful, and you want to get yourself that elusive... What do you want to get yourself?
SpeakerThat elusive...
BubblemanOkay, the elusive ticket to the Legends of Hash.
BubblemanSo that's last year's ticket. I believe that's last year's ticket. I don't even remember. But that is the ticket you want to get if you want to have a real amazing night. It has turned into a bit of a competition, unfortunately, but I urge you not to think of it as a competition. It was really started as something that was to pull out sort of really what we called the best people.
BubblemanAnd the definition of that certainly wasn't all the people that own companies and all the popular people in the industry. But it was all the people who had a certain love for the charis, for the resin, for the hash, for the message. And those particular people, we could find 50 of those people no problem and handpick them. And invite them to this special party. In the original year, that's what I did.
BubblemanI threw it with Skunk Man Sam and another friend. Really Skunk Man Sam and I came up with the idea originally at his house sitting around puffing bowls. And just thinking about, you know, not talking bad about the Cannabis Cup because I've gone to, I don't know, for the last 20 years or whatever, since 1995, I've been going to the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. And I've always had a great time and met great people and I thank the people at High Times for putting it on.
BubblemanIt's easy to criticize them and slam them and whatnot, but they really do put a lot of work into it and it ends up being a great event in the sense that, you know, there's always a good band or two to enjoy. I know this year it's Revolution, so obviously John and I are going to be rocking out to Revolution, dude. We like listen to them so much in Barcelona in March.
BubblemanHoly shit. So that'll be fun. I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure we'll see lots of you there. If you think your hash is up to par, stop by the booth in the early days and you might earn yourself the ability to purchase a ticket to the Legends of Hash dinner. And don't think of it as a contest. Just think of it as a really great evening with Charity people, people who really, really, like this is not a ticket to say I got a ticket and then you say like, oh, I went to the Legends of Hash dinner.
BubblemanWe don't allow cameras, so there's never any pictures. We don't want to see people posting pictures of it. It's a real night to not promote a business, to not to promote our agenda. We just promote hash. We promote the love of hash. And it's really quite a beautiful evening. I think this year will be especially nice. Flav's got some special pieces that he's bringing to share with the people that will be there.
BubblemanHe's going to have some heady pieces. And I've heard a lot of people are stepping up to the plate and bringing a lot of hash, and we're going to fill that 100-year-old Afghani hubbly-bubbly pipe. We're going to fill it, you know, 5, 10, 15 grams of hash, dump another 2 grams of some full-melt Medi-Kush on there, dump a little 70% THC, 99% heads from Skunkman Sam. We'll just keep piling it on.
BubblemanYou know what we use as a screen? Like an 8-gram chunk of real nice Afghani hash. Yeah, Legends of Hash.
SpeakerHash itself is the stream?
BubblemanYeah. It's a very old bowl. Legends of Hash.
SpeakerI got so stoned last year. Hell yeah, you did. You were at my table. Yes, it was epic. I got to try everybody's hash and got to be able to be a judge. Thank you, man. It was amazing and I learned a lot. And at the same time, really, it's something that's a passion. And when you get to be involved with such 50 people who have the same passion, it's really, it's uplifting.
SpeakerIt's cool. It's just 50 people that love hash. Yep.
BubblemanIt's a wonderful thing, isn't it, John?
SpeakerBut I mean, it's all about the caring, learning how to care properly, talking about the molds that are in there. I mean, you can taste some of the hashes that I got when they burned sulfur in the room. So you can see that there's different ways of determining and actually understanding how people are growing and then they learn from their mistakes at the same time. So it's a good thing of education.
SpeakerEverybody was just back and forth information. It wasn't about just like a hash. It was about everybody was just The little groups of people that were mingling and talking and just all the information that was flowing, it was something that was just, it was cool.
BubblemanIt was absolutely. We're going to have to make sure we have many a denail on the table at the Legends of Hash party this year.
SpeakerIf you need anything, just let me know where to send it and when.
BubblemanYeah, I want to sell some European models this year.
SpeakerWhere I am with the European model is that we're fine-tuning one of the controls. The 220 volt heaters, they just require different software. But the main thing is getting it ready for mass production. I can make one, and I can make a thousand. I don't know how many Europe wants. There are people popping up every day in their garage, like I make e-nails now, but there's none of them in Europe.
SpeakerRight. Which is just really bizarre. I'm flattered to see so many people come up behind me, but I do get annoyed to see some of the crap people are making. Yeah. I have two 220 models for you right now, but they're not going to run super duper stable. They're just enough to show that it works without the step down, and we need to redo the software for them.
BubblemanRight. Cool. Well, I look forward to those coming through. I know every time I travel, it's nerve-wracking to think that the D-nail's not going to work.
SpeakerThere's a bunch of stuff that can be done. What I'm more focused on for spring and summer is battery operated, and there's a lot of design considerations to make, but once we have something running off a low DC current, it's dual voltage, no problem, just with an adapter.
BubblemanYeah, that'll be amazing.
SpeakerYeah, the ultimate goal is pocket size, interchangeable with a lot of different ways, and since it's supported, I'm not going to go too far into detail, but that stuff's all on the table right now.
BubblemanAwesome. I love that table. I'm happy to have a seat at that table any old day.
SpeakerYou should see our project folder has maybe a decade worth of work in it. If we just sat down and buckled down on just the project folder, it would take us 10 years to prototype it.
BubblemanJesus.
SpeakerSo we try to go with what the best thing for us and the market. We could come up with cool shit that we don't want to make. We could come up with cool shit we want to make that no one wants. Striking that balance and then getting it actually made is always interesting.
BubblemanYeah. Having ideas and executing ideas are two very different things.
SpeakerAnd executing the right idea and having the right crew to execute the right ideas.
BubblemanAbsolutely, all part of execution.
BubblemanNot the kind where someone ends up dead either.
SpeakerUsually not. We do have some stuff that we shouldn't be playing with. Some of the diagnostic equipment I have, I feel like I should have a special license to have it. We have high ceilings and concrete walls and floors.
BubblemanExcellent, excellent.
SpeakerI got to get running pretty soon. It's great to meet you guys, despite Mark and I seem to have most of the talking going on.
BubblemanYeah, no, I'm glad you came in, Brian, shared with the audience.
SpeakerYeah, anytime you want to get a hold of me, you know where to find me. Does anybody have any questions for me? It's great to meet you guys.
BubblemanYeah, I can ask that as well, if there's any question for Brian before he leaves. In regards to the denail or some seriously advanced, buddy, I would say this much, that Brian knows a little bit more than most about when it just comes to, well, I mean, even earlier, what was he talking about, fucking flow, flow, ventilation flow charts or something?
SpeakerThat's an important part of the process. Of course.
BubblemanMost people aren't thinking that deep into it, you know, so I'm saying you are and it's refreshing.
SpeakerOne of the things I learned from studying Tesla was he said that a lot of inventors just get excited with stuff. They get something, they throw it out into the world, and they waste a lot of time, effort, energy, and money by just kind of winging it when they should just sit down and study it before it actually exists instead of fucking everything up. So that's a huge part of what we do, and we have dozens of things that we've been testing for months.
SpeakerWe have dozens of things that we've been simulating for months.
SpeakerIt's scientific equipment. At some point, insurance companies are going to be reimbursing us for what we're doing, and we're not just going to be slapping it together in a garage from parts made in China. That's not medical.
BubblemanNo, for sure not. Someone asked if there was any plans for a glass D now, but I think the courts sort of takes the cake on that.
SpeakerThe courts does take the cake. The temperatures that are involved Boro, Pyrex, they're fine choices, but no one seems to... We keep running the idea by people, and they're like, eh, Quartz is fine. Glass would be a fraction of the price, and a lot more people could actually work the materials to get the shapes we need. Quartz is a difficult business.
MattSure.
SpeakerIf you want some stuff in glass, I have some prototypes. We have friends that make glass all over the planet.
BubblemanYeah, we'll check it out. I mean, come on, we've got to check it out. Someone else said that they love their D-nail, and thanks, Brian. One guy said that he loves John's vagina eyes. I guess that's like a strange... Maybe you were stoned and had slits for eyes, but it made a couple of people in chat laugh. Johnny's got serious...
BubblemanI don't know, dude. This is the weirdest thing people say. Your eyes don't look like vaginas to me, but... Darth Vapors. What does D-Nail think of the vape-exhale cloud evil as far as convective heat versus conductive?
SpeakerI think that it exists. I couldn't intelligently tell you anything more. Convection heat in general instead of conductive heat in general, it's different degrees of efficiency. You need to have the right system set up for it. Convection is conduction for air. Air is a pretty crappy conductor. If you have the right system set up, you can do great things either way. I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about how it comes out in the vape exhale because I haven't seen one.
SpeakerSorry, I don't have any clear thoughts on it. I think that they're both heat sources and I think that the appropriate design can utilize any kind of heat appropriately.
BubblemanYeah, I'm sure just like wet wash and dry sift, if you master either of them, you could acquire, find yourself in a place where it seemingly could be one of the best, seemingly like the best option.
SpeakerYep, so I wish I could answer that question better, but if anyone has the innards of one for me to take a look at, I'm more than happy to weigh in. I can't follow what the entire world does. I guess, if I spend an hour Looking at everything that somebody put together, I'd run out of hours. For sure.
BubblemanRed Lion says, don't worry John, I have vagina eyes too. Tubester says, my life would be 100% if I had at least one vagina eye.
BubblemanI know, this shit's funny, you can't make it up.
SpeakerDiana just asked, what if you had an eye in a vagina?
SpeakerYeah. No comments, right?
BubblemanNo comments. I actually missed most of that, but I will make a comment on it.
SpeakerOkay, I'm still trying to get... Vagina eyes. Okay, no comment.
BubblemanJohn's got no vagina eyes. All right, Bubble Man, how did that LED work out for you? I am about to rework it out. I went away to Jamaica... It was summertime. I shut the tents down and the tents are just about to get going again. So I'll be, well, although I am leaving for the whole month of November, but might be delayed till then before I really get going when I'm back.
BubblemanPotentially Morocco. I might go to Morocco at the end of November. Go check out Morocco. Go make some hash. Go film making some hash. You can see it here on Bubble Man's World. Stay tuned, you'll see Jamaica, you'll see Amsterdam, potentially Chile, before you see Africa. It's a busy month for cannabis and for the people who work in the industry. It's a lot of places to try and be.
BubblemanIt's very hard, a lot of plane tickets, a lot of hotel rooms. It may seem glamorous, but it really is a lot of time away from the family and it's a lot of work. You get... Not a lot of sleep, because on top of the work, you've got to fit in a tiny bit of fun, so sleep just gets bumped right out the fucking window.
SpeakerWe're out smoking hash till 4 a.m. and then you're out of the door at 7.
BubblemanEvery day, 4 a.m., 4 a.m. 5. No, by 5 you were dabbed the fuck out. That was when I was filming my video. So.
SpeakerThe DGFO. DGFO.
BubblemanThe light at the end of the tunnel is the vagina hole and you are being reborn. Alright, well that's interesting. Bubble Man, please avoid Africa. We don't want you getting Ebola. Now that's just silly. Come on now, please. Africa's a very big continent and with the way humans are, we won't be containing anything in any one place. I'd like to think that people... No better than to avoid Africa.
BubblemanBut I guess to each their own. I wouldn't avoid it.
SpeakerWhat are parts of Africa you want to avoid?
BubblemanI can't post one. Yeah, well it always depends on who you're with. You should avoid certain places if you can't get there with the right people is how I would
BubblemanBut even the worst places you could be brought to with the right people and have an understanding that, well, it's just have a different reality of the situation. And that just depends on what you put out there and who you are and how you treat people. I mean, I'll tell you, for years and years and years, I never went to Kingston, Jamaica, and then I met the right people, and they brought me to Kingston, and introduced me to people, and I went to a lot of the different music studios, and met a lot of artists, and through the music industry, I sort of met a lot of really great people that lived in and around Kingston, whom, you know, I couldn't have really kind of got to spend the same amount of time with, and the same quality of time with, had I not I guess met them through the right people.
BubblemanAnd now I just walk through the streets of Kingston. I'm not too afraid. I'm a bit afraid when John walks through the streets of Kingston.
BubblemanRemember, I was worried for you.
SpeakerJohn, just stay close, buddy.
BubblemanBecause we hung out in Kingston how many times? Twice? We hung out what? How many times did we hang out in Kingston?
SpeakerI guess we were with each other the whole time, but we were running around like crazy.
BubblemanDidn't we go on several different trips to Jamaica together?
SpeakerYes. Yes, exactly. That's what I'm talking about.
BubblemanI look forward to going on another trip with you to Jamaica in the near future. Oh, yeah. We'll be doing it up. Did you see that video, though? Jamaica's actually fucking got the Chicka Younga and the Dengue going crazy right now. Anyone heard of that stuff?
SpeakerNo, what's that?
BubblemanIt's another sort of like sickness that's going around. A bunch of people and mosquitoes are passing it around and it's a... Oh, great. Mosquitoes love my blood. I'm going to start eating garlic now. It's like one and two or some ridiculous number.
BubblemanAll right, Brian. Well, thanks for coming in, dude. I appreciate it.
SpeakerAbsolutely. Thanks for having me. I wasn't sure what you were inviting me to until I got here, but it was great. I'll catch you guys soon. Okay. Right on, man. Great, Brian. Thanks for the information. Anytime. You guys be good. A wealth of knowledge.
BubblemanA wealth of knowledge. What's on the agenda for B-Man and Dabadoo? Okay. I am going to be cleaning some hash for Matt the Great Gardener, and he will enter it. As Matt the Great Gardener, he asked me if I wanted to do a collaboration with him. But I just thought, you know what, he's my buddy and I'm just cleaning his hash. I don't really need to be on the list as the person that was involved.
BubblemanI don't take the trophy. I don't need to go up on the stage. So it's a nice thing I can do for my friend. Build his lily a little bit and he can go and place if his hash is good enough.
SpeakerI smoked all month.
BubblemanCan you give us a few close-ups of some bubs and sift you're smoking on this morning? Well, I mean, right off the bat, I've been smoking quite a bit of this Sweet Skunk dry sift that I cleaned out the other day. So this is quite melty and just tastes delicious. The camera's not really doing any justice to it at all. Very, very nice resin. Good color on it and just...
BubblemanYeah, just real sandy, sandy resin. I love that sandy resin. A little bit of sticky hash stuck inside the bottom there. I've also got some of this seven-year-old hash here in the jar. This is a seven-year-old hash. You can see it's sort of self-pressed itself, but it's still in a natural hashy sort of... I won't press it. I don't want to squeeze it up and get it.
BubblemanIt's still just all heads stuck together, so that's... Some seven-year-old Master Kush, very old, both of those are. I got some, I'd say about six-month-old dry sift here, and this is powder. You can see if I do my finger and then do this, you can see the sift on there, right? It's just like powder, but at the same time, It's strong enough, a little bit on the keyboard, because I rubbed it.
BubblemanBut yeah, you can sort of put it upside down and bang it and smack it with your finger. It's a very stable dry sift, this particular batch here. And this was, oh, this was not, how was this one? God, I'm spacing it.
BubblemanMight have to have a little rip to tell you guys because I can't even remember what that is. I know it melts and bubbles. So there's a few things that I'm smoking on. Did you want to show some of your hashes, John?
SpeakerOkay. I got it all lined up for you guys here. I don't know if we can see it, but I have a bunch.
BubblemanBeautiful. Tell us what you got. Show us a few close-ups. Close-ups you got to be real steady and just hold it not too close, but just I think it'll do it.
SpeakerThis is Medi Kush first bounce.
BubblemanBeautiful, beautiful. That's perfect right about a little bit back. Yeah, like right there. That's pretty nice. Medi Kush first bounce. That's Dry Sift.
SpeakerThat's Dry Sift. This is the Barbara.
SpeakerBeautiful.
SpeakerThis is the Astro Boy.
BubblemanAstro Boy. Quick question from Chris0973. Have you ever tried eating the seven-year cure? Wouldn't the cannabinoids have activated over time, or is that a myth? The cannabinoids actually would degrade over time, CBD into CBN and so forth. However, the modulators of said cannabinoids Thank you for watching.
BubblemanI knew it was because you put it in an orange container.
SpeakerThere you go.
BubblemanExcellent. And is that the 73?
SpeakerNow understand, I have to make more, like now. I have stuff that's frozen. It has to be microplane, stuff like that. I got more runs to do. So, you know, this is kind of like... All the 73s. This is some MLP. It's been in the fridge for probably a little while now, but it's definitely very melty. Beautiful. Dessert hash. This is some of the Astro Boy in the beginning.
SpeakerThis is really melty. This has been cured for a very long time. How does it hit? It hits beautifully. It just melts like liquid. So it melts in your bowl, not in your hands. Not in my hands at all.
BubblemanSo what is that? M&M hash? Pardon me? You could call it M&M hash. Melts in your bowl, not in your hands. Melts in your bowl, not in your hands.
Speaker100%. All this has melts in a bowl, not in your hands. Excellent. This is the second run of the 90. In a red container, so it's hard to see. But you know what? One thing that I've learned and what I want to talk more about with the ratio and stuff like that, I got some stuff that I want to sit down and get more into doing micrododing and go through a lot of different hashes and stuff, but being able to maintain to be able to get through some of the days without it.
SpeakerI'm kind of interested in that. I do eat a lot of cannabis and pill-wise and stuff like that daily, so I'm actually interested in doing more of the same thing for my muscle spasms and pain control and stuff. Awesome.
BubblemanExcellent.
SpeakerWhat I have going on here, so we'll take the separated of the 73 micron, and that's the one I like and maybe geared towards that and see how that works directly for me and maybe doing something more in that line that I've been talking about. I thought it might be Some interesting research we can do together. There's a myriad of ways to decarboxylate and access your product after.
SpeakerSo, I mean, we can even melt it down under vacuum on a parchment so that we're not actually heating it up and see where we go that route. So, yeah, there's many interesting things we can try.
BubblemanSo they're saying it's hard to find good dry sift here in the U.S. Everyone has the butane hash oil stuff, which I think is kind of dirty in a way. I agree. I think a lot of the butane hash oil is not a good product. I don't know if it's a safe hydrocarbon to use to extract. I do have friends that develop live methods, or sorry, sealed methods like the Emotec from Giddyup and I mean, they seem to stand behind it, and he's got the fire department standing behind him and giving him licenses and such.
BubblemanSo maybe there's a right way to do it, but I think it's the real minority of people that are able to do it on that level, and that the 99% of people that are making this butane oil, it's potentially dangerous. You can really blow yourself up and disfigure yourself for life. Burn your hands or your fingers. You could affect yourself in a way that you might not really be thinking is possible, that you might think only the biggest idiot could possibly do it.
BubblemanBut I just urge you to understand that any of us are just a half a second away at any given time from being the biggest idiot. It just happens. No matter how cool you think you are, you just make random mistakes, do stupid things. We all do all the time, multiple times a day. And once you admit that to yourself, you might stop wanting to fuck around with super dangerous, invisible, heavy gases that can spark via invisible sparks to your senses, i.e.
Bubblemanyou could not actually sense how small a certain spark could be for it to set off an explosion with gas that's filled a room like that. What do you have to say about that, Horatio?
SpeakerWell, never done it. So, I mean, but in studying it intensively to develop my own strategies, I know how hard you have to work to be safe, and it immediately... Well, I know I can count on these 1% of people to push a science forward, but that's not what's spreading throughout the country. That's not spreading at every bong shop that's making a mint by selling butane by the tons out the back door.
SpeakerI mean, I think I have a bigger problem with that, that you're actually, this is all being accessed through basically our head shops that have become suppliers of solvents. And I really don't think that, you know, that that whole outlet, um, How does that make medicine if that's the way it's sourced? So it's completely different than people who are researching lab-grade equipment, going through the standards it takes just to even try and get something done.
SpeakerBut that's not what's sweeping the country. It's two states and state by state. I mean, look at Canada where we're a small minority and it's swept us in coast to coast. So it's not going to stop and therefore basically the problem is it's the everybody getting into it. What the hell is a generation of stoners getting into hydrocarbons for?
BubblemanWell we know why though Horatio. Do we not know that it's prohibition driven and this has brought back profits to the cannabis industry that have dropped since the licensing and the MMA are licensing and the Washington and the... All these prohibition-based prices that people were so used to getting when the stakes were high in the U.S. and you could do a 5 or a 10 or a 20-year sentence if you get caught with pounds.
BubblemanIt just became like that profit margin disappeared and now it re-emerged in the strangest of places.
SpeakerWell, by taking a different risk, I suppose, that you could blow up. That's what created a different type of whoops, you're gone prohibition price market. Right.
SpeakerBut, you know, man has done worse.
BubblemanI'm reading some of the posts here. This guy says, unless you're using a closed loop system with distilled butane in a vacuum oven, there's no way to make truly clean oil. Some of the stuff being tested in gas chromatographs appear. Horatio may disagree that there's no other way to make good clean oil. Maybe not with butane, but You don't use any closed loop systems and you make oil?
SpeakerWell, my system doesn't need to be closed because I'm not using a pressurized gas. It's the only reason we closed the loop. It's because our solvent was expanding. So, I mean, I basically categorically stepped out of that. The loop is closed as soon as I put my last... Stop copying. So, I mean, closed loop is not a promise of anything other than it's pressurized. So that's not a statement of itself.
SpeakerLike saying organic doesn't mean it can't be loaded with salt legally. So I mean that's not what we're really arguing. I mean if you wanted, I learned what kind of standards I'd be facing if I wanted to develop a process from Giddyup talking hard about what he actually goes through to even join the class of people who can make a pharmaceutical product for use. That Tony can be using.
SpeakerSo it's a world of difference, the category of people. But Giddy Up doesn't make that local BHO that you're getting for cheap. It's somebody who is of a different ilk.
BubblemanWell, when I go to these new sort of gatherings, there are a lot of younger people. There's like 50 rigs out on the table. Everyone's got parchment paper with slabs of oil. And I'm looking around and I'm thinking, wow, there's like 50 dudes in here. They're all in their 20s. They all have like ounces of oil, like just like stacks of these parchment papers. I'm looking around and I'm thinking to myself, and we'll have to get Tim also to La Fumo to hone in on this because he himself makes BHO.
BubblemanHe could be a Thank you so much for joining us.
BubblemanIt just, I look at it and I'm thinking it doesn't seem very five star. It seems like this is like the Slurpees from 7-Eleven or McDonald's. Like it's just like everyone has it. And when everyone has it, I'm always just... What's going on? Yeah, I couldn't believe that everyone had it. And everyone had a pelican case and like a dinosaur fucking dab thing. Like it was literally like some weird cult.
BubblemanI was at the treating yourself thing. I'd never seen anything like it. Yeah. Chip, man, want to talk to him?
SpeakerI think in a way, yeah, it's, I don't know, maybe you can relate to this. I don't know, maybe bubble hash kind of swept everywhere years ago. Maybe it was a bit too young or just not into it. I'm not sure if that ever did happen. But I'm guessing if it did, a lot of it that it was around, it was probably lesser quality. And, you know, I think the same thing with the BHO.
SpeakerI think the average stuff that's out there is probably dangerous to consume. Oof. You know, a lot of the stuff that I see on a daily basis of, you know, people, those same kids coming up and going to try this or look what I got, you know, I have to tell them I don't want to partake in it. And, you know, I think there are a lot of things that need to be considered when people are making, you know, BHO, hash oil, shatter, honeycomb, whatever they call it, right?
SpeakerIt's all basically the same thing. And there are risks making it. You know, people can burn themselves, blow themselves up, blow other people's property up. And I think Mark's right. A lot of people think that that won't be them, and it quite easily could be them. And then with the product, like, I think a lot of it is testing. Like, if we were able to just simply walk into a laboratory-type scenario with a sample of oil...
SpeakerAnd easily and readily access this stuff and we could lay a lot of these myths or, you know, concerns to bed and or bring things to light and say, look, these are, this is unsafe and this is why or this is how we can avoid it or just get to the point where maybe it shouldn't be done at all.
BubblemanSo one guy is saying that it's just simple chemistry. He's just saying... On one hand, he's saying that 95% of people are getting it wrong. They're making bad BHO. But before that, he says, simple chemistry and understanding polar and nonpolar solvents. And you do not need a closed loop system to use Tane. You can easily winterize your finished BHO when it tests clean, pure with 0.0001 solvent.
SpeakerWhat's that? I don't necessarily agree with that. Like, I've read some tests that were in the States. I can't quote exactly where the tests were from or what they were. But there were some harmful residuals found in open blast typical guys using cans. They were not high amounts. We're talking parts per billion. And if you trust Health Canada, WorkSafe, BC, and these sorts of things, the limits of exposure in our areas...
SpeakerWe're in the parts per million, so you're talking about levels that are way lower, but I don't even necessarily trust those limits because I think really, you know, we get lied to on a daily basis, so to put your life on those limits and say that that's how you're going to base things, you know, I think is risky. But in that open blast scenario, it was simple.
SpeakerThere were some fucking gross toxic shit you do not want inside your body. But I think when you talk about the closed loop, that gives guys some ability to clean that shit up, to use cleaner gases. And when they say distill, right, they're kind of stealing from the naked alcohol method where they're condensing a product and leaving some of the crap behind, essentially, right? And yeah, through a closed loop, you can clean your gas up and potentially eliminate some of those things.
SpeakerBut I think if we had readily available testing, we'd all... Get to the bottom of this a lot quicker.
BubblemanI got my dry sift.
SpeakerYou know, I really, as like, you know, a guy that's, you know, going for smoking BHO and Lefumo pipe, they always see a stab at BHO. I enjoy bubble. I enjoy the sift, man. I love when I get to get together with you guys and have a few jokes. We always hit it. I enjoy my BHO as well. But I definitely don't smoke the average person's stuff.
SpeakerYeah.
BubblemanYeah, I saw that, John. I saw that.
SpeakerRyan here can probably answer a lot of other questions, too. Yeah, let Ryan talk.
SpeakerI was just laughing because this is Ryan. Are you reading Hash? It's all of his different methods of how he's doing his systems and how he's... More or less learned to where he is now. It's funny how I have Horatio's first stuff. I have Hatch, I have this, I have little collections of people's works of art. But, yeah, it's something that he wound up leaving here before he went on this little journey which led into him losing his Jeep and I think there's court proceedings going on now with that whole thing.
SpeakerA long story in itself. Yeah. I got some high shoes on.
SpeakerSo that's where I got the pills from Mike in the beginning from Ryan and he made them from I guess some stuff that you guys have been collaborating with Horatio and that was the initial stage of the Sativa and the Indica pills that we got came from Ryan. That was from Mike. Excellent. There's a With a bunch of different things.
BubblemanYeah, the taste of RSO, as we discussed it, for trying to eat that, I've only ever seen one person enjoy it. Jim. Yeah, and the taste is so good.
MattSo, I mean, if you can encapsulate it so you don't have to taste it, it definitely gets the medicine into people a little bit easier without that, we'll say, flavor.
BubblemanSomeone's asking Horatio, this is a good one Horatio, the chemistry scholar, so what is it you do exactly?
BubblemanFor a living? No, what do you do? What do you fucking do?
SpeakerI... My patent process or... I use limonene as my solvent which allows me to break a lot of the conventional rules of butane because it's not coming at me to kill me. So it's allowed me to design my own set of extraction processes and I mean I use only laboratory grade equipment which allows me a couple other different paradigms that allow me to extract with a solvent that is typically unpurgable.
SpeakerAnd not boilable. I'm at a recommended dose to make shatter or any common product. Is that enough of what I do?
BubblemanHe says yes. He gets in relation to this, I guess. So yeah, Horatio's here laying down knowledge for Hash Church. He does the D-limonene extract using a terpene to make his shatters and oils. Yeah, we're all just Dudes that hang out in the community and we all come in here and we chat away and that's what we do. And right now I think it's time to have maybe one more bong rep before I'm going to finish off the broadcast.
BubblemanWe can make a small chat in here if you guys like but it's been fun for Oh, we've been on for three hours, which is, I think, a good long hash church. It could go on forever, really. I'm sure that we could probably sit here for three, four, five hours.
SpeakerI was asking you what your pedigree is. I'm going to smoke some 120 and wear the 120 shirt. So that's how I'm going on tonight. Excellent. John A.,
SpeakerFrom there, I'm going to decide if I'm going to go cut down that many haze that's outside that's 12 feet tall and is starting to get moldy. It's like half done. It's sticky. There's resin there, but I mean, I don't know. What do you think I should do with it? I think I should just cut it down. We're going to freeze it and make edibles out of it for me and Mike.
BubblemanGet that resin off there and see what it does. See how it makes you feel, right? Like why do we... Thank you for watching.
SpeakerWell, what it is, it's a sunny day. It'll probably be the last day. It's going to rain for the next week, so today's the day. We're going to go out there. We're going to put her into a freezer. Mike's freezing, and we're going to wash it, and then we're going to make some good edibles with it. Maybe we can try and smoke it. But the last outdoor one I ran, once again, like Jamaica, the 45 and the 25 is where my amounts came from.
SpeakerIt wasn't from the 90 or the 120. It was from my own outdoor resin grown, so it was interesting to see that last week. It's kind of cool, so... Paying attention to outdoor resin, they talk about the fire being down in California and stuff like that, and the outdoor resin is the 45, and I'm like, well, for me it isn't, but indoors, so I don't know what the thought would be on that.
SpeakerWe'll discuss this maybe next week, between indoor resin and outdoor resin, between the different microns, between chlorophyll. I didn't see as much creaminess in my water from the outdoor resin, and I remember that even in Jamaica, too, so... Just a little bit of things I'm seeing as I'm doing things. I thought it was kind of cool to just kind of mention it here now. This one here is from Outdoor Resin.
BubblemanAwesome, guys. Well, yeah, I think that's it for Hash Church. Episode 4 will be back next week, Sunday, 10 a.m. And yeah, puts whatever links need to go. Oh, I wanted to mention The Great Gardener Part 2. I unfortunately updated my Apple to the new Yosemite, which is great. I like it. It's not glitching or anything. But for whatever reason, I need to now update my Final Cut Pro.
BubblemanAnd I can't remember how I bought it or what, you know, I don't have an Apple ID, I bought it before that and I'm kind of like, now they won't just let me upgrade it so I might have to buy the whole program again. Unless someone knows a link of Final Cut Pro update, I have 10.09 or something, I need 1.3. And so I had to upload the first part of the Great Gardener video via iMovie, and my Bubble Man animation crashes iMovie.
BubblemanIf I just drag it and put it in there, it just crashes it over and over and over and over and over. It took me 20 crashes just to fast enough click and delete it before it crashed the program. So I'm not sure. You might have to deal with Bubble Man's world having no animated logo intro for a little while unless I can get Someone to figure out the file and change it so it doesn't crash on iMovie and by all means if you have an idea for that send me an email at bubbleman at bubblebag.com.
BubblemanAnd thanks everyone, the 179 or the 230 or whatever our top number was today of people.
BubblemanThat have come in and listened to us go on and on about these things. Try to answer as many of your questions as possible. I know I missed most of them. Thanks for being patient and just rewriting them. And thanks, you know, Johnny B and Horatio and Lefumo and Ryan for coming in. Thanks everyone for stopping by and enjoying Hash Church. We'll see you guys next week.
BubblemanThank you, Mark. Thank you both a lot.
