BubblemanWhat's up, everybody? Hash Church 31 is in the house.

SpeakerNa, na, na, na, na, na, na.

BubblemanWe are the Herbs Burner.

SpeakerAh, yeah. Ah, yeah.

BubblemanWelcome to Hash Church, everyone. I thought I'd start it off a little bit differently today. Maybe with a tune from my good buddy Richie Spice, the General, and of course, Jesse Royal. I figure we could listen to a little bit of a track, load up a couple of bowls, and welcome Hash Church in the way we like to welcome Hash Church in. Happy Sunday, everybody. Let's hit the straight fab with the silicon carbide, sorry, actually, with the titanium sapphire hybrid nail.

BubblemanAnd he is the wisest one out of we. I hope you guys are having a great Sunday today because I think we're going to have another inspirational hash church. As always, there's no plan. I will just send out the links and we will see who arrives. So why don't we start with that this morning? Links to you guys. Links to you guys. All right. Yes. Yes, yes, yes.

BubblemanWe are good. I'm going to turn the music down. Just thought I'd do that for a little bit of a start. Nice to see 133 people in the room. Really nice to hit that D420K dry sift in the morning off the Sapphire. Man, that is some tasty, tasty goodness. Well, welcome, everybody. I hope you guys had yourself a beautiful weekend, and more importantly, I hope you had a really nice 420.

BubblemanIt was spectacular here in Vancouver, as some of you may or may not have seen from the videos. I posted a really nice long hour and a bit long video for 420. We showed pretty much some of the most epic glass I've ever shown on videos. Bubble Man's World, I've never really shown that level of glass in that amount. A few times we've gone to flabs and we've shown a pretty good concentrated version, but 420 was epic for glass and it was no slouch for hash either.

BubblemanWe really had a really nice puff down, well, probably about a dozen or so really nice puff downs. Which gives me a little reminder here. I wanted to shout out a few different people this morning. I am just going to send out the chat.

BubblemanHere real quick, because I don't see anyone coming in. And that happens sometimes. But who I wanted to shout out actually this morning is the Terp Shop. You can check out the Terp Shop, that's T-E-R-P-S-H-O-P, one word, on Instagram. And the Terp Shop, he makes all sorts of cool kind of water extraction, glass, terpene sort of shirts. So he's got Got Melt instead of Got Melk. He's got the one that I'm wearing right now, which was Whole Plants Frozen.

BubblemanSo it's a pretty good one. It looks like Whole Foods, but it's Whole Plants for running a fresh frozen water hash batch. Welcome, Johnny B.

BubblemanWelcome, welcome, welcome. I see the link worked for one person this morning anyway. I'm still trying to send it out to a few more.

BubblemanNo. It shows you unmuted. It shows that you have power. Oh, I'm not too sure. You'll have to figure out your logistics, Johnny B, but I can tell you that you are not being heard. So, couldn't find previous message. All right. I love when the computer does this. It makes it a little bit confusing, but... Let's see, go find that. Boom. Yes, so the Terp Shop on Instagram, you can check those guys out.

BubblemanThey are pretty cool. They've got some pretty nice shirts, and I'm pretty stoked on my Whole Plants Frozen shirt. Not too shabby. And, well, geez, we got Cuban in the house. Congratulations, brother. Are we going to hear him? I pray that we hear you. I don't hear you now. No, John had the exact same problem. Which is scary to think that everyone that comes in isn't going to have sound.

SpeakerNow I... Sweet, it's the setting. Dude. They have to click the little settings icon and set their microphone manually. Okay. Yeah, so bro, I was dying to get on House Church last week, man. It was good. Every cup has like the worst reception ever. In history, dude. No 4G. You can have fucking five bars. You can't even refresh Instagram. It's just really bad. Oh, wow.

BubblemanYeah. You know, you felt my pain then, dude, because you can imagine what it's like when I'm doing this in a place like Barcelona or I'm doing it in somewhere in Jamaica. And I'm just like, oh, I get so nervous right before I'm like, just let this work. I need it. Thank you so much for joining us.

SpeakerSo everybody got riled up on Sunday. I had this crew and I'm there like, have you ever seen the old Verizon commercials? Like, hey, can you hear me now? No. It was disappointing, but I'm glad to be on now, man.

BubblemanWell, it's good to see you, man. And congratulations for, you know, a damn near sweep at the cup.

SpeakerYeah, thanks, bro. I'm really proud with my first place. I've worked real hard for it. My wife got third with the Kimbo. Wicked. Yeah. Yeah, back home, check this out. We entered a cup here in Seattle and it was the same day as High Times. And she got first place there with the Kimbo, but my cookies and cream didn't even play. So, you know, we both made it out with cups that week and it was nice.

BubblemanThat's pretty awesome, dude. Good for you guys. Well deserved and really just, you know, only foreshadowing of things to come.

SpeakerYeah. Oh, and I shouted you out like I told you I would if I ever was on stage. Come on. I gave props where they were due.

BubblemanDude, I've got to see that, dude. That's so awesome. The first time I've ever heard it was at the Secret Cup when Javier from Medical Seeds mentioned it because they were asking him, well, you know, what, tell us a little bit about the hash. So he went through, he's like, it was this strain grown this long. I collected the 73 micron. I ran it all through bubble bags.

BubblemanAnd it was so neat to hear. I had just, I've never heard it done before. So I appreciate that, brother. It's really, I'll look forward to hearing that.

SpeakerHell yeah. You know how it is in high times, though. They try to rush you off the stage. So I said my couple words, but I gave props to you for taking the pictures of Dave's hash and being able to share it online and giving me something to shoot for, man, to make a quality like what you were showing people on pictures.

BubblemanThat was the beginning of it all. Really, it was Dave allowing me to photograph his hash. Whether he knew it or not, it really started the whole ball rolling. Oh, yeah. Just those pictures. And then really the day that I, like Dave never used to call it, I don't believe that he called it 99%. I just remember taking the picture and going, holy shit, that's like 99.999% heads.

BubblemanThat ended up being the title of the post that made, you know, that those photos got so famous for.

SpeakerYeah, it's incredible, man. When I was at Tony's house on Monday, we were all having like, you know, a late night sesh before everybody flew back home. I thought that I was the first person in the U.S. to place first with Dry Sift, but they're telling me that I'm the first person in High Times history to place first with Dry Sift.

BubblemanYeah, I don't think Dry Sift's really been a big contender up until the last couple of years, really, you know?

SpeakerYeah, I was happy, man. When I spoke to judges, they were actually rating it on technicality. Like they had fire water hash, they had fire rosin, but they placed a dry sift up there because it compared to the water hashing quality, but they knew how much more work it took to make as opposed to spinning a washer and pouring it through the bags. And, you know, even though water hash is technical, dry sift is on another level of difficulty.

BubblemanThat's for sure. Agreed. It's a whole other ball of wax because, I mean, I guess, you know, now it's become more, you know, mainstream. There's people have learned techniques, things, information has been shared, let's just say. Welcome, Tony B. Welcome back. I hope you have sound. Check, check. Do I have sound? Oh, yeah. Fuck, that was nerve-wracking.

TonyI was in chatting all morning and it didn't want to let me talk. It wanted to let me type.

BubblemanYeah, well then Cuban came in and he couldn't talk and I was like, oh my God.

BubblemanOnly three people are going to come in to chat today. I think that the chat link doesn't always work. I just had Jeff Church ask me for the link and I had already sent it to him this morning. Mark was in chat.

TonyWho was? Mark. So, I had the joy of assisting some Congo and some MediCush.

BubblemanWho was in the chat this morning?

TonyBoth were grown with the LED, and I was not impressed with the MediCush, but more impressed with the HPS MediCush, but I was so impressed with the Congolese LED grow. It was amazing. So, different strains. It's really interesting. And what, did you say Mark was in the chat? He was chatting this morning. Yeah, we were chatting this morning, and... Talking about mushrooms, actually, and cannabis.

BubblemanWell, hopefully he'll get the link and head back into the real chat here today. I've sent the link out a lot. You guys are the only two people to come in so far. Just like to make sure that everyone's got the link. I hate to think that it's not working sometimes, you know?

TonyYeah, it happens. You know you're going to want it.

BubblemanIt does. And I guess it's not that big of a deal. We can start church nice and slow. I had some tunes going this morning. Yeah, I heard that. Woke it up with a little Jesse Royal and Richie Spice.

TonyWell, I've been saving this for way too long, and this is the Presto Congo clip. Smoker!

BubblemanSmoker! I got some Presto Congo Sift here and a little bit of UnPresto Congo Sift, a little bit of 7 Star, two different kinds, and a little bit of D420K. Welcome, Mark.

BubblemanWelcome, Mark. Here I am. How are you doing? Welcome, welcome. How was your 420?

MarkMine was excellent. How was yours?

BubblemanMine was really wonderful as well. I feel like you could experience mine because I made a video about an hour and ten minutes. First we went and just hung out with what I would consider the most epic blast that I've ever really been around. It was so epic, it was like private. It was invite only to get access to see it.

TonyOne and clear dome.

BubblemanExcellent. Hit it. And I will do the same. Yeah, so that was very nice.

BubblemanNo complaints on Vancouver's 420. I don't know if it was 20,000 or 30,000 or 40,000. They mentioned a bunch of different numbers, but it was respectable.

SpeakerWord. Hey, so I was at Tony's house, and he's there showing me his... Rosin Tech, right? And he whips out this paper filter that's like one micron and he squeezes my dry sift and we get like 15% return, bro. It was so depressing. I'm like, hey, Tony, let's get a 25 micron screen. Let's cut it into squares and I'm going to show you how I do it.

BubblemanAnd we went up to the 25 micron screen?

SpeakerNo, bro. That's why a couple shows ago, he's like, man, I don't want to enter rosin because the yields are so low. And I'm there thinking in my head, like, I'm getting 80, 90%. Like, how are you getting low yields?

NickBro.

SpeakerHey, Aaron, you were there when he was squeezing rosin with the paper filters?

SpeakerThat was the day before, right? It was the ghost train that was really light. I mean, the color of the rosin was excellent. It's just the yields were so harsh. Were you there the next day when the Dawn Tech came? No, that was on Tuesday. That was awesome, though. I was on the airplane watching Dawn squeeze out the rosin. That was pretty crazy, bro. I mean, like, taking the best hash in the world.

SpeakerAnd And condensing it down into some juice.

BubblemanThat's the first time you ever saw rosin, Aaron. It was exactly that. It's pretty interesting, bro. I do this every day.

SpeakerIt's pretty interesting. Congratulations again, Cuban. You deserve that shit. Thank you, bro. Congratulations to you guys as well, man. But my highlight was hanging out with you guys. I look forward to the Cubs, bro. My highlight was the Cubs, but you know what I'm saying. I love chilling with my peeps.

SpeakerNo, it's good. Like, you're not in that cup setting, and you can, like, sit down and really enjoy everything. It's much better. No shit. I'm going to go put my dish away, and I'm going to come back with some dry sip from Cuban Grower and smoke that shit.

BubblemanYeah, hell yeah. I've got more... ...on my dabinator, so I have... Let's see, we have the Nectar Collector on, we have the Fab Egg on, we have the Taurus on, and then we have the Straight Fab on, all with different nails, all with different D-nails. Gotta love this thing right here. Three D-nails in one, bro. That's how you roll. That's how I roll anyway. Thank you, D-nail.

BubblemanI appreciate you guys and the hard work that you do. And you know what? I've got to give a shout out to Method 7 because holy shit. Okay, I don't know if you guys have ever used these Method 7 glasses, you know, the HPS ones that you can go and look under the high pressure sodium bulbs and it turns them into a nice regular bulb, keeps you from getting a pounding headache.

BubblemanVery cool glasses. I've talked about them in the past, but they sent me their newest pair recently, the XPS And man, these are effing cool, okay? These are HPS lenses, so I can go into the garden and work under the HPS lens, but when I go outside in the sun, the sun will activate them, turn them dark, and they become like a sunshade. So they've taken two pairs of their shades, their sun ones and their HPS ones, and they've made them one pair of shades.

BubblemanI have to give it up to these guys. These are really cool.

SpeakerHey, hell yeah. That is sick. I love Method 7s because I get to see the true color and my eyes are relaxed and all, but I always have them in my head, right? When I walk outside of my garden, everything's all fucked up. That's dope, man. I like that. Yeah, I was pretty stoked on that. Mark, you got the new transitionals?

BubblemanYeah, the HPSXs, exactly. I'm one of the ambassadors.

SpeakerI can't hear Mark for some reason.

BubblemanOh, well, I'm talking. I'm talking. Can anyone else hear me?

SpeakerYeah, I can hear you, bro.

BubblemanAll right, cool. I can't hear you for sure. You know, I have to give it up to them. It's good for a company.

SpeakerI'm going to mute his ass and see what happens. I can't mute him. Yesterday I was in a hangout and the same thing happened, bro. One guy couldn't, like, you just couldn't hear him. You know what I mean? Although other people could, so you had to exit and rejoin the hangout. And then it worked. I guess Google's acting buggy.

TonyI logged in and I couldn't. The same thing.

SpeakerYo, you got Bubble Man muted, and he's talking. I can't hear him. I can't even unmute him. No, none of us can hear him. Who muted me? There he is. Aaron did.

BubblemanAaron, you little biatch. Delete. How about now? Can you hear me now, Aaron? John, I can't even hear you. I would tell Aaron to come back into the room.

SpeakerMaybe it's me that needs to hang up and try to get back on.

BubblemanYes, you need to hang up and come back on. There you go. Now you're getting it.

SpeakerOkay, I'll do that. I'll do that. I hope I get back.

BubblemanI'm banging.

TonyCoffee.

SpeakerI got to give some love to D-Nail, man. They reached out to me while I was in Denver, and they're going to, Send me a SIC insert and nail or whatever in one of their D-nail units so I can rock that out. Yeah, I told them, I was like, hey man, my friend Mark took a video one time with a sapphire insert and it was like the most beautiful melt video ever.

SpeakerHe's like, yeah, yeah, we got all that.

TonyLove my D-nail. Yeah, you're right. This engine now is like sweet.

TonyI can't hear shit. Okay.

BubblemanCan you hear us? Well, I don't know what to say. I don't know what to say. I'd like to get the rest of the crew in here.

SpeakerCan you guys hear me?

SpeakerI can hear you. Can you hear me? Maybe Eric will come. I can't hear you. Can you hear me? Yes. Bah, bah, bah.

TonyCease and freezing, Mark. Can you hear me?

BubblemanYeah, I can hear everyone. Everyone can hear everyone, I believe.

TonyI think we're all good.

BubblemanAaron's the one having issues and making it all our issue. Well, it's not our issue. I was going to chat about something. We figured it out. Nice. Set up that camera. Cuban, no. Up, up, up, over. There it is.

BubblemanThere it is.

SpeakerIt's funny because my camera... You say up, but to me it's like left. I have no idea because I have to think to an angle, right? It's so complicated. But I'm happy I got a webcam so I don't look like an integrated laptop cam anymore.

BubblemanYeah, I'm in the same boat. I got myself a webcam and I'm real happy about it. It's not the greatest, but I can pick it up.

TonyI think I look a little bit clearer than I normally do. You're kind of fading in and out. It's interesting. You have really clear, Mark, and then you get really fuzzy, and then you get clear, like how I was with my camera in my room. Yep. It fades in and out. So when you move around, it loses focus a little bit.

MarkThe fuzziness is because of his beard, not his camera.

TonyThe fuzziness?

TonyI mean, I'm on the map. I think we might have lost Mark. I don't know. There he is. Nice.

MarkWhat's the fuzziness, Mark? The fuzziness is due to your beard, not your camera.

BubblemanExactly. It's beard fuzziness. Welcome back, Aaron. Can you hear us? You cannot. Cuban's puffing tough. What are you hitting, Cuban?

SpeakerI keep muting myself. Sorry. Some Ghost Train Haze from the cup. That was like my favorite jar. I kept showing it to everybody. I kept myself a little... Stash for Hash Church.

BubblemanSo what's the genetics on Ghost Haste?

SpeakerYou're the only one I can hear. Who, me? Yeah. Damn. Well, Haste, that's crazy. You can't hear anybody else but me? No, you're the only one. Wow. I'm a good person to listen to, you know what I mean? Yeah, I'm learning, bro. I'm learning. I'm in the cubic grower class, bro. Oh, word. I think Ghost Train Hayes is something like Neville's Wreck crossed to Ghost OG or something like that.

SpeakerI'm not sure. Ghost Train Hayes. It's Ghost OG crossed to Train Wreck Neville's. Yeah, all I know is that that shit is so loud. Like the Terps are stupid loud. But the cut that I have, I had to get rid of it because it was phenol selected by somebody here in Washington that won cups with it last year and they got all butt hurt because they think that I'm going to enter it against them and whatever, you know.

SpeakerIt was cool before I started winning, but now that I'm winning, they ain't cool with it no more. Oh, you don't even know, bro. I woke up to a message on my phone saying,

SpeakerSometimes when you do a collaboration with somebody and you guys split the seeds and then you actually go through the seeds and work and find and do different things and then the other people don't do shit and then they teach you up like, oh, we want to get paid for the seeds you're selling. It's like, dude, do your fucking work, bro. And then you can get paid.

SpeakerMore drama, bro. Yeah. When you're winning, drama comes to you. When you're losing, no drama. Yo, it's crazy. I was just telling my boys, so when I went out to L.A., everybody was happy. When I went to Denver, like, you know, L.A. crowd was happy, Denver crowd was happy. When I come back home with those cups, man, I didn't even get congratulated by one local hash maker, dog.

SpeakerThey're all so salty for no reason. I'm going to keep going to cups and taking awards, bro. If that means losing friends, it is what it is. You know what's cool about this conversation? It's just me and you, bro. It's just me and you. I can't hear anybody else's shit that they're talking.

BubblemanThat's what I love about the conversation. When Aaron can't hear anyone else, he's here for everyone.

SpeakerI can't see anybody move on video anymore. Everybody's frozen. This hangout is intense, bro.

TonyI'll be back from the hangout. Maybe it'll be a real short one.

SpeakerI hope not, man. I was looking forward to it. I took a two-week hiatus and we're bugged out over here.

TonyYeah, well, I kind of want to talk to Aaron more about the clean light. I'm kind of wondering about his burning issues and stuff that he had. You asked me, have you burned them yet? I think I might have, so I want to know more about what signs I'm looking at. Nick, did you hear that?

SpeakerMan, I don't know if I'm the one lagging or what's going on now, but everybody's choppy.

BubblemanYeah, we're all freezing up. It's rough. It's rough.

SpeakerIs there any possibility to re-host the Hangout? It's fine online.

TonyOnline, we're fine. We're doing fine. Don't worry, Aaron. Everybody's fine. It seems like that.

SpeakerYeah. I'm going to try to rejoin because all the video feeds froze for me, so I'll be right back.

TonyAll right, Cuban. I'm going to pop on some fresh edits.

MarkIt's totally fine for me. I can hear everybody in full motion.

BubblemanAwesome. Yeah, I think just everyone's different, internet and whatnot. It's definitely, we've got to figure out a way. In this chat, to be able to not cut each other off while we're talking. That's the hardest part.

SpeakerAre you guys talking right now? Yes, we are talking right now.

BubblemanI can't hear shit.

SpeakerIt sucks.

BubblemanHere, I'm going to mute you because I don't want to hear him tell us all how he can't hear shit.

SpeakerWhat?

TonyWow, 420 was amazing. I couldn't believe the amount of people that made it out to Vancouver. And those shots that you have, Mark, are just, like, epic. And I hope you got some real nice close-up ones, but I know what happened there, and when I was, like, right up at the front, the amount of people and just the volume of people pushing and stuff was, we had good talks about it, and it felt a little bit scary.

SpeakerDid anyone hear anything?

BubblemanHey, Horatio.

TonyGood morning, Archie.

SpeakerHey. Welcome, Fletch and Jeff.

TonyAnd those shots are just like epic.

BubblemanWhat's up, Rev? Welcome, guys. Just thought I'd turn the volume down on your YouTube chat. Then we won't get that picking up. Glad to see you guys.

SpeakerCan you hear me?

BubblemanWe can hear you, Aaron.

SpeakerI can hear you. I can hear you fine, Lily. Nice. Back in business. That's what I'm talking about. I didn't get muted.

BubblemanIt's funny because Cuban was just telling the story of not being able to get into Hash Church and being like, can you hear me now? Can you hear me now? I can't hear you. Can you hear me?

SpeakerDude, we even had a loyal Hash Church fan give me the Wi-Fi password to the hotel that was like right next to the venue. Just to be able to broadcast. So, you know, we tried. It was just rough, man.

BubblemanI'll tell you one thing, and I don't know if everyone can attest, but the popularity of the exposure that Hash Church has given myself, a lot of people come up to me and mention Hash Church. Like, I've been doing the Bubble Man guy for 15 plus years, and with all the articles and all the cups and all the booths and all the things, that was never a fraction of the exposure that this...

BubblemanThat this hash church has created. So I appreciate it. I thank all of you who are watching and I feel a responsibility to all of you. Even though I try not to script, I try not to like organize too much, it's really natural how all of it falls together. You know, someone like for last week, Jessica coming in, that was all via Mark. Mark sort of put that all together.

BubblemanAnd it's nice when it can happen, but I really don't try to force it. It's just we don't really force any conversation in here at all. That's why it just happens or it doesn't happen. It comes or it doesn't come. And that just depends on what we talk about and where the conversation leads us. So it's pretty cool. I appreciate it.

SpeakerLast week for that Sunday during the Cup, I have to say that was like, I think I, you know, straight up in front of everybody, I fucking cried, bro. That was like a, that was some serious shit, you know, and to hear that from the mom and to, you know, to hear how like, yeah, just like how they put the finger on her for trying to keep her kid alive is horrible, bro.

SpeakerAnd You know, and the fact that cannabis does work and we're just brainwashed and people are just trying to put their thumb down on us, you know, it really sucks. It was a really touching story and thanks for having that on the show, Mark. You know, that's the type of stuff that the world needs to see so they know that we're not just These smokers and tokers and there's actual benefits to it besides us enjoying it and having a higher level of consciousness and a better life just from our recreational.

BubblemanYes, I agree. I also cried. It was very sad and it was very happy at the same time. It was... I don't even know how to explain it. It's empowering. It felt like it was empowering, even though I wasn't going through what she was going through. It's just like what you would wish upon anyone that was suffering, anyone that was having a bad time, to be able to have that nightmare end.

BubblemanLike, end. It must have been literally all they were thinking about for 10 years, to just pray and hope, please, just make this end. Like, this has to end. This is too much.

BubblemanAnd I just, we only listened to this story. She went through the ringer and back and through again and back and through again. That's just unbelievable.

Etienne FontanVery strong woman.

SpeakerVery.

MarkWho doesn't even use cannabis herself.

BubblemanYeah, well, I loved the honesty in her story, Mark. I loved the non-biased in her story, like when she told the part of the story about how maybe they thought it had to be a coincidence, like can't be from this, that's just too ridiculous. And I also appreciated, I guess, you know, she said she came from a very conservative mainstream family, and I appreciated when she told the story that How she didn't even seem to connect the Dravet syndrome with the vaccination.

BubblemanWhereas like myself, where I sit on that belief system and what I think of vaccines and my worry about replacing a natural immune system with an artificial one, it frightens me.

MarkYeah, I mean the concern about vaccines in general is again remember that often the way that these things are produced They have to be produced in sterile facilities where you know that contamination can always be an issue. And I think the issue with some of the vaccines, I don't really know too much about this, is that there was a mercury issue, that mercury was contaminating some of these vaccines.

MarkAnd I'm not sure if that correlates to... Any type of observed neurological disorder, including autism or in this case, Vibes.

BubblemanThe complexities are definitely potentially there. I mean, for me, I did a little bit of research when I had my children and just learning about like the monkey abuse serum 40, the one that the polio vaccine is suspended in. That's some frightening shit. They grow that on monkey kidneys. That's how they get that. That's just, that frightens me as a parent. Now, I would never,

MarkThank you so much for joining us.

MarkYeah, like a switch. A lot of these things could be good, a lot of them could be bad. It depends where you are on that switch. You know, people talk again about genetic modification. You know, if it wasn't for the genetic modification to put the beta carotene into what's called golden rice, there would be a much higher rate of starvation in the world today. I mean, the fact is that our developed populations don't rely on that.

MarkBut there are certain populations around the world that if that innovation wasn't made in genetically modified organizms, there would be a whole lot less people today on the planet.

BubblemanAbsolutely. That and synthetic nitrates as well, which is, I think I've mentioned the story before, which is insane, because it was Hitler who had Haber and Bose produce synthetic nitrates so that it was no longer reliant upon chili for his nitrates. That spawned 20 bushels of corn into 200 bushels of corn per day because of synthetic nitrates.

MarkMark, technically they're not nitrates, but they're amines. The proper process enabled was the ability to put ammonia into an organic form or an amine. Technically, those aren't nitrates. You should call those amines. But you're absolutely right. That innovation done by the German chemists enabled a much larger population on the planet today because he was able, through his chemistry, to fix nitrogen, inorganic nitrogen, into the organic form.

MarkYou're absolutely right.

BubblemanFor anyone who has an interest in that, you can check out Michael Pollan's wonderful book, The Omnivore's Dilemma. There it is. There it is.

SpeakerDing, ding, ding, ding, ding. How are you guys doing?

BubblemanWell, it's been one person after another. First John came in and he was talking and I couldn't hear him. Then Aaron came in and he couldn't hear anyone but Cuban, so him and Cuban had a conversation for a while. You know, every time we do a show, it's always something, right? Well, you know what? I was telling the story earlier. This isn't scripted. I don't have professional equipment.

BubblemanThis is just a Google chat, and we appreciate the 527 people who are... Oh, now he just got... Now he just stopped.

SpeakerI can still hear you. I can hear you. Okay. Hey, Tony, I was telling everybody about your paper filter returns. Oh yeah, you were like, let's not do that ever again. Hey, I do want to show you guys something. No, I actually got a new iron.

SpeakerI wonder what they said when you walked in trying to buy that shit for your hair. They must have thought he had some nice hair to get a $300 iron, bro. It's actually pretty funny because I was in line with my girlfriend and... This guy, I'll show it to you. You guys know who Cowboy is, right? The glass blower? From Eugene? Originally from Kansas? You all know who Cowboy is, right?

SpeakerYep. Okay, so I was in line to buy this.

SpeakerIt's called a convention. This thing's got, this thing's got, everyone listening, It's got negative ion technology. Here's the thing. Most irons do this, right? This one goes beyond that. It locks. Wow. Oh, nice. Everybody knows where to get that. All right. And this temperature goes to 180 degrees.

MarkWhat's a bald guy buying a hair straightener for?

SpeakerOkay. Let me tell you the story. Let me tell you the story. So let me just tell everyone what it is. It's called a E-Valectric, but it's a C. If you just look this up, I think you'll find it. C-F-S-E. And it turns on immediately. I mean immediately. This is all ceramic. These are free-floating plates. So the guy, there was this, I don't know, he was about a six foot four black guy.

SpeakerHe looked like he was a basketball player selling these things. And I was in line to get one, and the guy, he goes, oh yeah, these are really great, blah, blah, blah. I'm like, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. I'll take the black one. And then he started to show me hair products that go with it, like special kind of oils and shit to curl your hair. And Cowboy, he's got this huge beard.

SpeakerHe just so happened to randomly be walking by in the mall, okay? And it was his last day here. And he goes up to the guy and he goes, do you really think a bald guy is buying an iron for his hair? Like whispers to the guy. And he goes, he goes, I'll tell you what these kids are all buying. He didn't realize it was me. And then he saw that it was me, and he's like, oh, shit.

SpeakerHe's like, I didn't even know that it was you. I was just telling this guy why you were buying the iron. And I told him, I told this guy, I go, do you really think some guy that's got no hair has any interest in your fucking salon product? I just want the iron. I was like, I just want this thing. That's awesome.

MarkThat's hilarious. Hey, not all the hair is on your head.

SpeakerYeah, right. But this fits in line with Don Tech. I don't know if you guys are following Don from DNA, but he's got, I think Don's tech would be good with this one.

TonyI've got so much rosin with this Revlon, I'm going to pack it in and go and get one of yours.

SpeakerWe should just create the first ever salon tech I want to coin the term turkey bag economics.

TonyI take this thing everywhere. I showed so many clubs. I was at five different clubs yesterday. I showed everybody. These guys are just like, wow. It's just awesome.

SpeakerIt's changing everybody. So my friend's dispensary, if you bring your hair iron in there, you get like 7% off of any hash, any water hash. Speaking of hair irons, at Denver they had a $5... Bring your own bud hair press booth. You give them the flowers and for five bucks they'll press it for you and give you the rosin. I had a lot of flowers I should have fucking dropped off and pressed it.

BubblemanMy booth, Jeff will fucking pray for nothing.

SpeakerDude, yeah, so I saw those guys, they had a big sign out, it said BYOB, five dollar rosin press, right? I'm talking about. We actually had a t-shirt press set up. It was kind of funny, though. There was this girl there when I got there, and she had a half ounce laid out on the paper. And the guy was pressing it up for her for five bucks.

SpeakerShe did the first press, or he did it for her. She looked at it, and she was like, oh. You think we could get some more? And he's like, yeah, let's do it again, you know? And they, like, dropped all the buds on the ground trying to get them onto the parchment. It was pretty, yeah, a fail scene.

BubblemanCrazy. Hey, Fletch, I lost your pin that you sent me on, the archive pin. I was wearing it the other day on my hat. I was up on the gondola in Squamish, and I got off the gondola, and I just saw this gold thing, like, fly by my head. And it like jammed itself in between the door and the swing arm and I was trying to get it and I was like, oh man, the gondola kept moving and going around and it's gone.

SpeakerOh well, it's on the mountain, that's where it probably belongs anyways.

BubblemanThat's what I'm saying. They were going to stop the gondola, I was like, you know what, I could get another one.

TonyYeah, you could definitely get more.

BubblemanYou could leave that one where it is, let the next person have it. Yeah, for sure.

TonyThat'd be funny if someone found it in the summertime or something.

SpeakerAlso, one thing I found is Cupid's Tech, I started cutting up your screens into little, little pieces. And not doing the triple fold over, but just doing a single fold. And the yields are really good.

BubblemanYeah, well, generally, if you've got the best hash, you should be getting between like 80% and 85% return. If you've got shittier hash, you should still get like at least 50% return. And in really terrible, like, decontaminated material that I clean from my dry sift that's under my 70 micron screen, I can usually get between, like, 6 and 15 percent.

SpeakerThat under the screen stuff is depressing to press, bro. Huh.

SpeakerThe smaller heads, I never get a good yield on them when I press them. Yeah, I pressed up some of the movies that he said was his B grade. And, you know, there was basically nothing in there. They had raped all of it. It was like all the leftovers from that. So, you know, we got almost from a big old

SpeakerYeah, I need to ask my buddy for the link, but I told you about it, Rev. I had tested some 45 micron that I had rosined. I was getting like a 40 to 50% yield per gram. I don't know what it tested before, but after it tested 85% on the lab results, which is pretty high. I couldn't imagine that I was going to test that high. Yeah, I mean, ours that we tested, it ended up being about 80% cannabinoids after it was turned into rosin, but it was 65 before that, so, you know, it's a nice gain, but not huge change.

BubblemanSkunk Man Sam would always say that he preferred his 60% THC over his 70%. On his dry sift, because it felt like when he was bumping up his THC that he was losing, you know, other important modulators that produced the effects that he preferred compared to when they were gone and the THC was higher. I appreciated that. This coming from a man that's been smoking this dry sift for 40 years, 35 around at least, so it's a whole different ballgame when you have a relationship with your resin like that.

BubblemanWe're infants in a sense.

SpeakerI can imagine the Terps on that dry sift would be higher too by ratio, right?

BubblemanDude, all I know is this. Never have I smoked anything before in my life that got me that fast, like so high and so just like, Remember Rob Clark would tell stories about, oh yeah, I was cross-eyed when I left there the other night. And I was like, come on, man, how stoned could you really be? Until the first time I left there, cross-eyed and walking funny, trying to go find my cab.

BubblemanI have a respect for that, I'll tell you. And that's the full meal deal like yourself, Cube, and that's... It's a different category. They should almost have a different category to recognize it at these cups where it's like, okay, listen, I'm not just a hash maker.

SpeakerHe was saying...

BubblemanIt's up there and they've got a four lighter and they grew just enough of the bomb as best as shit. I'll be somewhat impressed, but, you know, I'll be more impressed with the guy that's running like a hundred lights and producing the fucking... Super high quality bomb. That to me is a valid bit of information rather than one dude grew a ton of killer and then gave it all to an extract dude who...

BubblemanThey're just sort of different categories.

SpeakerThanks, man. I appreciate that.

BubblemanDid everyone freeze up but me or what?

SpeakerNo, no. You were lagging a little bit. It feels hard on me, bro, because... The gardening takes me a long time and then hashing takes a long time too. But that's why, you know, I got to give mad props to my wife. On Instagram she goes as the Cuban Hash Queen and she's my main hash maker now. It's all just a close team, bro. When you do things as a team, everything works the way it should.

SpeakerAnd speaking of the THC, I peeped at the test results of the Kimbo Kush Dry Sift that we entered into High Times in Denver, and that tested 84% THC with 5.8% Terps. Wow.

BubblemanThat's really nice. High numbers.

SpeakerYeah, I couldn't believe that it was going to test that high. My haze for the first cup tested at 81, so the potency on dry sift is definitely very high.

BubblemanWicked.

BubblemanWell, hit the egg, hit the...

SpeakerI'm going to have Ken over here, and we've actually made some what's called rosin butter.

SpeakerWe've intentionally warmed and whipped the rosin, and I think it's going to be really good with the turps. You'll see today, it looks like... Like wax. Yeah, it looks like buttered out hash. Yo, check this out. So I can... Give you a little bit of input on what I've done with that. I actually grabbed, I was telling Brett Maverick yesterday, I grabbed a 20 gram slab of rosin and I heated it up and I whipped it, like if I was making honeycomb.

SpeakerI grabbed a small Pyrex, I lined it with some parchment paper, put the whipped rosin in there, and I stuck it in the back at 125 degrees, full back, and it made a honeycomb cookie. Like if it was BHL, it was crazy. Yeah, we've been messing around with different consistencies and trying to figure out how the turps will play the best role in it. And I think the, like a turp butter, it's going to end up becoming a turp butter.

SpeakerBut, yeah, I'm actually showing everybody the little fold tech that you showed me, Cuban. Yeah, I see you doing it right there. Well, I put the hash on here first, folded back on itself until I made a little square. And then just fold the edges up into a little tiny square. Like I said, I cut it smaller this time so it doesn't have to push through as much.

SpeakerFold it over 180 degrees.

TonySo check this out. I was getting AFV4. That's annoying to hear.

SpeakerSo anyways, man, for the initial extraction of the hash, like what you're doing here, the first step, I've found that using something like a 73 micron, and I've even heard of people playing with 90 micron, produces a quicker oiling time, so it has less contact with heat. And then if you don't like the quality of the oil that came out from the first pool, you can get all that oil and put it in like a 25 micron, Or small or whatever and then you can repress it since the viscosity of the oil is a lot greater than what it would have been as like hash form.

SpeakerYou know what I mean? When you're doing the initial extraction. So I have a lot of little squares that I use. Yeah. I'm noticing the squares are different for each thing, huh? Yeah. I know. I have a lot of 73 bags that get little holes and stuff from big raw bags.

SpeakerThat little dog is feisty, bro. Totally. Hey, Mark's not even in the room. I hope he can get back. I hope he can, too.

SpeakerYeah, so, I definitely like to stand on that, because I like to be on the stand. You know, pressing with your hands so long, it's, man, it's a lot of work. So, that's one tip I'd like to share. You know, the screen's definitely a nice way to go. We folded the first time. Oh, you got it down. The no-hand tag. Yeah, the no-hand tag. Yeah, you know, the screen...

SpeakerWe folded it the first time we tried it with that t-shirt press, but we had like a half ounce in there. So it was like kind of a different thing, you know, and then I don't know why I never folded. You know, you know what you, so when, okay, sorry. When you're doing large amounts, it's better to break it up into pieces. You know what I mean?

SpeakerLike seven gram press puck and wrap it around and then get another seven gram and make like a square or whatever. And then like that you can more effectively use the shirt press. But I feel when the patty's too fat, it's harder to get all the... Thank you for watching.

SpeakerWelcome back.

BubblemanThank you. I'm going to get my shit working here so everything's good.

SpeakerWhat do you think about the governor's veto of the law? What are you thinking about how it stands here? Do you pretty much hate it? Wait, wait, so... Somebody was telling me that they vetoed some sections of the bill. I'm not happy with the bill because I've invested a lot of money into my future here as a medical producer. And I feel like I'm taking a giant loss.

SpeakerFrom what I understand, you need to register to be able to grow six plants and have like, what, 14 ounces or something ridiculous like that? Come on, man. That's insane. So I know that he vetoed the charges, like potential felonies for medical infractions, but as I understand, they can still take your equipment, they can take all your gear, your herb, you know, you might not get a charge, but you're going to get still financially set back.

SpeakerNot only that, but they're putting an enforcement division to make sure that everybody's following regulation. So I don't know, man. I'm not very stoked about the new laws. Yeah, we got some new ones. Basically, they're taking and forcing all production into the recreational model. That's like the only way that you're going to be able to do it. Yeah, that sucks for sure. That sucks, man. Yeah, I'm going to have to figure out what to do.

SpeakerThat's what I was talking about in the chat. I don't know if I want to work I-502.

SpeakerBecause how far can I really advance in my career working 502? I feel like I'm going to get stuck there. I like working for myself and growing medically, and it seems like I don't have the option to do that anymore in Washington. So, yeah, I may have to move.

SpeakerYeah, it's just a whole other game up here now, you know. It's completely different than it has been forever. Yeah.

BubblemanMan, Fletcher's mic is some kind of messed up. The robotic sound. There's the butter.

SpeakerYeah, supposedly there's some sort of like a rule, the right term for it, but if they get like 300,000 signatures or something like that, then you can effectively veto the governor's... Like, signing of that bill. And it's nuts. Like, 300,000 or whatever doesn't even sound like that many. I don't know if I'm quoting the right number, but I'm sure you know better than I do, Rev, when it comes to the details.

SpeakerYeah, basically, we need to get 300,000 signatures by June to be able to get this initiative on the ballot. And, you know, man, it's a really hard struggle right now. I don't know that it's well-funded at all, you know. It's a tough one. But what I really think is, you know, we've got to work with the legislature in the next session because that's the only chance that we have to change the laws outside of an initiative.

SpeakerAnd if we can make the case to the legislature that they are harming enough patients by passing this, you know, it's going to become effective in July of 2016. So we still have one more session. That's the best we can do. Write your legislators and call them and tell them what you really want to see in law. Yeah, but you know, that's what people have been doing for the past two years and look where we're at now.

SpeakerIt doesn't do anything. We need people that work in the law or whatever. This is so beyond me, bro. All I am is a grower and a hash maker. I don't know shit about this stuff. But I'm sure that there's people that can be hired that can go and defend it, right? But where are they?

SpeakerWho's countering these guys, man? Do they just write laws and it gets passed and nobody can oppose it?

Etienne FontanCuban, it has to be done by the people. We here in Berkeley, we have medical marijuana here in the state of California. The city would not allow us to actually have an actual permit So we had to go on an initiative locally just to get our actual permit to exist. We lost that election in 2004 by less than 1% of the vote. You know that we're the only ones to sue Diebold and win?

Etienne FontanWe won everyone's right to look inside their individual voting machines. That took four years of fighting in court. It was placed back on the ballot after it was decided that Diebold or Alameda County Did not actually send back or they came and took 420, I'm not kidding you, voting machines. But we got placed back on the ballot and we won by 64% of the vote. You got to get active.

Etienne FontanThat's the reality is it's not legal. You got to get together, organize. That's why a lot of organizations like the NCIA, so we have lobbyists on Capitol Hill, but at the same time you got to get active locally. And pull your people together. You've got support. You've got friends. You just have to step out in the limelight if you really want to fight it and be on the front lines.

Etienne FontanIt's hard. It's difficult. But it's worth every fucking penny.

SpeakerYeah, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to set up an event and everybody that signs that ballot, I'll give them a dab. I wonder if I can set up a 300,000 person line.

BubblemanDude, I'm telling you. It's called the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam every year. I swear I must give out Thousands of dabs each year for probably close to 20 years now. 95, yeah, 20 years.

SpeakerWe need 300,000 Washington State residents to sign up. Yeah. From now on, if you guys are going to, if you're in Washington and I give you a dab, you've got to sign that paper. Yep. I think that, you know, what he was saying is really right. We need to get organized and we've Definitely organized our medical scene in different levels at different times since I've been an activist here.

SpeakerAnd, you know, in the last iteration we had the Cannabis Action Coalition that was really, really vocal and really, really present down there. And they were basically saying, kill everything because we like the system that we have. And the problem with that is that the legislature wanted to change it. They wanted to change it somehow. They've been trying to change it for years because they didn't like the way that it was.

SpeakerAnd so by being unwilling to work with the legislature and say, hey, we want it this way, right? And instead what they did was they went and yelled, nothing shall pass. We want it to stay the same way that it is. That just kind of bit us in the ass, I think, you know? And it was really easy for the 502 retailers and producers and processors to get lobbying groups together and hire lobbyists and get the laws changed so that all the production, processing, and distribution would be rolled over into the retail side and into the recreational side for medical.

SpeakerAnd that's what they did.

BubblemanI got, that was froze up for me a little bit there. I missed the end of what Jeff said. Is everyone back here?

TonyYeah, I was listening and I just made one of the awesome dabs.

SpeakerYeah, so maybe we can host like, you know how they do those sesh events and stuff and people pretty much congregate and all of that? I went to one of those, a secret sesh in Denver and that shit was packed. We should do sessions like that to try to Get a signature. You know what I mean?

Etienne FontanDo it. Do it. It's active. Show them where.

SpeakerMaybe fill me.

Etienne FontanPut it in their hands. We would even, in Berkeley Patients Group, we would have a dedicated phone set up in the front with a phone number and an actual... Right out of exactly what you should say and have people come in, pick up the phone, and you get a couple hundred people just cycling through and making phone calls. It makes a difference.

SpeakerAnd they can't electronically sign? Yes. Like get Photoshop and write your name on it and send it in, or it has to be physically signed? Washington State, you need physical signatures on a pre-printed petition. And then once you get the signatures, then it gets on the ballot. So that's how it works in Washington. You've got to get physical signatures. There can be one per sheet. There's nothing wrong with that.

SpeakerBut generally, you want to fill up sheets full of things so you have less paperware.

Etienne FontanAnd then what you do is then you call for regional summits. So you have local regional gatherings. And then you find local organizers from that session. And then they find their people, contact their smoking circle, and get them active. It's a very natural and organic way to make it happen, but it can happen.

SpeakerOkay, so check this out. And Jeff, is there any water hash in I-502 right now, recreational market? Yes, there is actually. I saw some marked 73 micron on the shelf. I didn't see what the quality was. It had to be nice because from what I understand the 502 regulations for extracts are very strict. Yeah, and I think that it was, if I recall right, it was $32 for a half gram.

SpeakerThat's not bad.

SpeakerNo, man, I'm sure that there's more expensive out there, but that's not bad, right? Yeah, there is. I wonder how I melted and everything. That would have been interesting. You should have gotten that half gram. I was just sitting there checking out my buddy's new retail store. It's like, you know, I buy very little from the retail store. I don't even buy bubbles. You know, I like to make my own.

SpeakerBut then I... Hey, Ken. What's up? Come up next time I see some of those, Cuban.

BubblemanKen likes to make everyone else's.

SpeakerSo this is some of the butter. This is from 38, the 38 screen.

BubblemanBoom.

SpeakerWasn't butter.

SpeakerDrive that bus.

BubblemanSo who here is going to be coming to Jamaica for the Cannabis Cup November 12th and 15th?

SpeakerI will be entering into the Jamaica Cup. Speaking of that, you have to look at the rules how you can enter, and from what I understand from Rick Cusack, One is for companies that are based out of Jamaica, and one is for local Rastafari people that actually produce something on the island. I'm not so sure. Yeah, I'm not so sure that you're going to be able to bring it.

SpeakerNo. I wanted to enter the first Jamaica Cup. That would be so cool. Right. That's what I said to you. But you know what you could do? You could collab with the Rastas, man. That's what you need to do. Collab with one of the companies that's out there, bro. That's what you got to do. Yeah, that's the case now. I'm going to have to do what I have to do, but I really want to enter Jamaica.

SpeakerYeah, you just have to find somebody that has a Jamaican-based company.

TonyOh.

SpeakerYeah. Come on. DNA's in Jamaica, right? Who has Jamaican-based companies? Anybody on the video chat? I think Bubble Man and I have a Jamaican-based company. Oh. We can do some work, but you know what? I think John's also in on that company, too, if you want to know the truth. Nice. I see possibilities of still entering the Jamaica Cup. Come on. You too, brother. You too. This has been a long, long, long, long time waiting for Bubbleman John and I.

SpeakerAnd I'm really excited about Jamaica because November is usually shitty and cold and miserable in Amsterdam. And nobody likes to feel like that. And I know that Jamaica in November has zero bugs. It's like 80 degrees, no moisture, and like no bugs. It's amazing. It's probably the best time.

SpeakerI've never been, man, but, you know, I love the beach. What's going to be in the grill? Seven miles of white sand. I can't believe it's going to be in the grill, dude. We need a beach house.

BubblemanDude, trust me, we have beach houses.

SpeakerYeah, we do. Yeah, that'll be dope. I mean, this might be a good time to put you on the spot. I know we've been dancing around it, and we've barely had any conversations about it, but what do you think the chances of there being a Legends of Ash that same week, the 11th, the 12th, and the 13th in Jamaica are going to be the same thing? Yeah, what about the legends, Ash?

SpeakerBecause then, because then you'd have people like Stephen that gets injured, and people that would come around the world, you know what I mean?

BubblemanLegends that I did in Amsterdam with those guys, I simultaneously did three legends, one year after the other, in Vancouver. And so, a Jamaica Legends will for certainly happen. That's a whole other ball of wax. That's a whole other ball of wax. That's a, I'd almost think... It's a strong enough event to do within itself, either right before the November date, like on the 10th and 11th, or right after, like the 15th and the 16th.

BubblemanMaybe have it after, but give people their kits or whatever. It'd be interesting. I just think Legends has always been inside the Cannabis Cup, and I think Legends in Jamaica could be Thank you for watching.

BubblemanBe pretty wicked. 10th and 11th, eh? Because it starts on the 12th. The cup starts on the 12th.

SpeakerThe 12th is like the 11th, 12th, and 13th, I think.

BubblemanNo, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th. It's a four day.

SpeakerIt's four days?

BubblemanYeah, it's the 12th, 13th, 14th, 5th, and 7th.

SpeakerOh, then maybe we should kick off maybe the first day on the 12th. Or the 11th, like the day right before the cup.

TonyThat's Wednesday, the 11th.

BubblemanI like the idea of a two-day legend so we can actually have the first dinner, you know, at night gathering in the afternoon or whatever, but then everyone goes to bed and wakes up and now it's the fucking wake and bake legend. Okay, which one really rocks you on a wake and bake?

SpeakerI think that's a great idea, two-day legends.

BubblemanAnd if we rent it, listen, if we rent or not rent, we could use that big house probably on the black sand beach that we were at next to the river that had the boo, what was that fucking thing, the rafting?

SpeakerYou're talking about that 14 bedroom mansion with the infinity pool and all that.

BubblemanYeah, yeah, yeah. So imagine being able to like have that space with the bar. We could have a crew of musicians play basically 24-7 coming through and it could be an amazing list of musicians. Mark's got his thumb up.

SpeakerWell, that's going to be an adventure for a lot of people because they're going to have to fly into Montego. But if they flew into Kingston first, then it's easier to get into the grill.

SpeakerI believe it's like an hour from Kingston, was it not? Or an hour and a half?

BubblemanI missed that, Tony. Can you repeat that?

SpeakerI was just going to say, that place is an hour outside of Kingston?

BubblemanYeah, it's maybe an hour outside of Kingston. It would be an interesting situation if we had the catering and the musicians and... The epic, I guess it would be a tough one too because is High Times just doing blood or are they also doing concentrates?

SpeakerThey're going to do hash. I'm not sure you're going to see live res or anything but they'll do hash.

BubblemanWell, I'll tell you, bumping into my buddy Mike. Might have to go do a collaboration with him too, my buddy with the 8 foot tall long dreads.

SpeakerYeah. I bet you he'd get some good dry stuff. He's probably got a shit load of material just dry.

TonyHe's going to dry quickly.

BubblemanI'm just excited for a cup. Hey, how's it going D420K? We're just talking about the Cannabis Cup in Jamaica in November, and I've got to say, I'm fucking excited about this particular thing.

SpeakerIt seems like we were just... Up in Jamaica.

BubblemanI'm stoked on it nonetheless.

SpeakerYou cut out on us, Mark?

BubblemanYeah, I'm cutting out like a mad dog. I was just trying to say that I'm really excited about the cup in Jamaica.

SpeakerYeah, it might actually be a cup I'm going to attend and go to. Nice, dude.

BubblemanWell, it'll be your first one. You should do it.

BubblemanEveryone in this room should do it. In fact... I say we all get a giant sponsorship booth, call it Hash Church, and all make appearances at that booth during the cup. Because, I mean, I'm obviously going to have my booth, and lots of people will have their booths, but it would be cool to have a Hash Church booth. Fuck yeah.

SpeakerWell, we'll throw down a Hash Church booth. Yeah, dude, let's do a universal Hash Church lounge booth where it's fucking...

BubblemanIt's where everyone knows us from. Even though we have companies and we're doing different things, a lot of people know this group of people from Hash Church, and it would be a cool little gathering place.

SpeakerWhen I walked by 420 in Vancouver, Mark, the There was four different people in those booths when I walked by that said, Hey, Darren, watch you on Hash Church all the time, man. We love that show. Can you puff with us? I was like, fuck, sure, no problem. Puffed with them in their booths and pulled out some of my dry sift and made them happy as hell.

SpeakerCarried on, went on to the next booth. It was awesome.

BubblemanNice, dude. Yeah, that's killer. That's what we got to have at the Cannabis Cup in Jamaica.

TonyYeah. So we're having a hash church in Jamaica. Can you hear me? Yeah, there. Hash church in Jamaica. Awesome, Mark.

SpeakerHere's something I wanted to bring up to Cuban. Now I noticed that your dry sift, Tony had some in his pocket for a full day, and he pulled the dry sift out of his pocket and it stayed nice and sandy and it didn't cake up or anything like that. Now when I'm up in Prince George and I take my dry sift down to Vancouver, it does, it cakes up.

SpeakerIt bonds together and it won't stay nice and sandy. I'm just wondering if I'm not drying the dry sift out enough for a long period of time or what's your take on caking and why and what? Well, in Denver, I'm going to tell you, it's so dry, dude. You're muted by the ink. Am I? You can't hear me? I can hear you. I can hear you, man.

SpeakerHe's having the bomb. I can't hear Cuban. Oh, should he? Yeah, he has the issue. Hold on. You got the bug.

BubblemanWell, Amsterdam is just as moist in November as Vancouver, and that sweet skunk dry sift that I cleaned from Matt It stayed perfect the whole ten days that I was there. I don't know if it's just strain dependent, which I guess it probably is, but it could also be variables in the growing.

SpeakerI want to say it's strain dependent because some streams will cake and some streams won't. I have Cubans right here and I leave it outside and it rained yesterday for a little bit. It was kind of humid and nice today. But no cake action. Still as good as the day I got it. It's just, it's really strain dependent. And I think it also has to do with the cure time of the flowers that you're making with, that you're making the hash with.

SpeakerAbsolutely. Would you recommend on the flowers? The drier the better. Yep. Okay, here's two I dried. I dried some. We actually had a little bit of an accident, made a mistake, and let stuff dry for an extra five, six days on the stalk hanging, and it just turned to just like dust, like powdery. It was dry, dry. But the resin was still very sticky. Now, like the wax on it, they hadn't taken the heads and shrunk them a bit like into raisins sort of thing.

SpeakerYou know what I mean? Yeah, I wish you could hear me. The raisin size of cure. Darren, can you go on the chat? If you go on the chat here, Cuban is giving you a good... I would like to speak on it at least so people can hear it. I wish he could hear me. That makes a lot of sense.

BubblemanAll right, we'll reply. You can reply, Cuban, and then Darren can always go back and watch it on YouTube, and that way everyone can hear the reply.

SpeakerOkay, so would Dry Save... Log back out and log back in real quick. Yeah. I'll wait for him to come back. Oh yeah, I probably won't get back in. I hope you do.

SpeakerDo you want to reply, Cuban? I read that, Cuban, and thanks, buddy. That makes sense, and I'll give that a try the next time I do my

BubblemanHe's going to reply right now, Darren, so the rest of the people listening can hear what he has to say because there's 623 people and then you can always go back and listen to it to hear what he had to say.

SpeakerOkay. Word. So dry time, personally, man, I think if you dry for at least three, four weeks at a low temperature so it takes longer to achieve a dry and then cure for one month minimum, It gives you a good result. I think it toughens the resin and a lot of the stickiness goes away, in a sense. Now, when you start curing for two, three, four months, like a lot of the stuff that I had in Denver, like the stuff Aaron has, the resin, at that point, man, it seems to not wick humidity out of the air as easy.

SpeakerAs it can if it's one month cured. I one month cured some strains like that strawberry pie that I had out there. I couldn't get contaminants out of it because the resin would grease on the screen and it would bond to little green things and stuff like that and I couldn't get it to beautiful 99%. So I put that stuff to the side. Now when I went to Denver, I always keep some flavors that are the best to do some nug runs so I can share with friends.

SpeakerI whipped out that combination again and I keefed it and at this time it was like sandier. It separated from the material easier. I was able to like clean it, isolate it without anything greasing up on me. And I think that it has a lot to do with the curing. But in Denver, bro, I'm going to say straight up, it is very dry, man. Your hash would not cake out there.

SpeakerHere in Washington, some of my dry sift will oxidize, especially if I have like, you know, a head stash jar, something like this, keeping it open. It's very humid here. So over time, the resin will wick the humidity. Just like I guess it would in Vancouver. But in Denver, it wouldn't happen.

MarkYeah, it's not necessarily oxidizing. It's just It's just absorbing water. A lot of the organic compounds that are found in cannabis oil are what's called hygroscopic, meaning that they'll naturally absorb water. And some of the buttering effect that you see with time, like if you've ever seen clear hash kind of butter with time, that has a lot to do, a lot of people have said it's oxidation.

MarkIt's not necessarily oxidation. It's just The hash is equilibrating moisture content with its environment. And as it does so, as we know, most of the components in cannabis oil aren't soluble in water. And so that's why you'll see the buttering effect, because this is going to create, again, sort of like what's typically called an emulsion, which is going to scatter light and not be opaque like a clear shatter would be.

BubblemanSo I got a question, Mark. This is a theory that I have in regards to that, and it's why they've always taken it so serious when they dry in many hash production countries in the world, they'll dry for very long periods of time on the stock, and I'm just wondering if those particular parts of the plant are Are somehow, I don't even know how to really word it, but like say water is present in that membrane, whatever that cuticle or waxy membrane is that holds all that goodness in, I often think the more water you get out of there, if you can really dry it out properly on the plant the way it's supposed to be dried before you hash it, then you're less likely to have those glands, those heads, You know, absorb the water out of them, whereas if there's little bits of water or a lot of water left in those membranes, they seem to butter out faster, they seem to absorb water quicker.

MarkYeah, that totally makes sense. But, you know, the other thing is, as soon as you cut the plant down, as soon as you start the process of curing the plant, you're also going to Start the decarboxylation process just as a naturally occurring process that happens on the drying out of the plant too as well. So you have to balance what you're saying along with the proper cure.

MarkA Cuban grower, I think, said it was a month. It'd be interesting to see what everybody else says in terms of what the optimum cure time is. Just in terms of yield, potency, and flavor.

SpeakerWell, I cure for as long as I can. I dry for a month. Right. A minimum. I mean, when I get the itch to make some sift, I'll go into my one-month cured stash and start keefing and everything, you know. But optimally, three months is where stuff starts to get really nice. And when I say three months, I've heard people say, oh, you know, that's older material.

SpeakerMaterial...

MarkSo are you curing in a humidity controlled environment? Yeah.

SpeakerI have a humidity and temperature controlled area where all this herb is just sitting semi-closed in huge contractor bags and no mold, no pathogens. Everything smells really good. The biggest thing I see a lot is if I grab the material and wash it, there's no green in the water. It's a lot of gold. You know what I mean? It's just perfectly cured. It smells and tastes so good.

SpeakerThat's why I prefer to work with dry. I have way too much material to keep fresh frozen, so I had to figure out the proper way to preserve terpenes on a long-term dry.

SpeakerImportant stuff for sure. I've always felt like, you know, when you're making dry sifted... The cure, definitely the dry time, because I feel there's a waxy membrane that encapsulates all the oils, all the essential oils, the cannabinoids and stuff too. But some varieties have a thinner layer of this waxy membrane. When it dries up, it's easily penetrated and it's cakey. It doesn't go through the screens easily.

SpeakerLike Cubans found out with some varieties.

BubblemanBut one thing I'd say about that, Aaron, is that I've seen strains produce the thin trichome layer as well as the thick. And although it could be genetic, I think in most cases it's the variable of the grower and that they're growing more of a prohibition-based mindset for... Basically growing for weight, for how much can I get and how fast can I get it. They're looking at vegetative matter, they're not looking at the resin, and then they're getting these type of gland heads that are more like a Tootsie Pop, you know, with the hard candy coating and the little bit of goodness in the middle.

BubblemanIt's a very small amount, like it's a very thick wax layer to get to a very small amount of the good juice, which I guess rocks us as a method to get that good juice out of there.

TonyI leave the material on the screens overnight and turn my DVDs down and dry it up and the next day I get so much more. So, I mean, there's so many different ways. Yeah. That's where I'm at for a second, exactly. Like, I do my first little bounce, I get so many different ways of harvesting. I can get three different kind of harvests from the same screen over a period of 24 hours.

TonyThat's what I've been doing lately. And some of it, I was even talking about the kicking and talking about, I got some strains that are very, very nice. And then the one always kicks up no matter what I do with it. So really, I cured it for over three months and it's kicking up within 24 hours.

SpeakerYeah, so some strains, man, have a lot of like oily properties to them. Like the ghost strain haze, I have to keep it in such a weird way. I have to break it up after I have two dehuys in my lab. I break it up, right? And it stays kind of clumpy. And it doesn't keef very much. And you're like, damn, this thing didn't yield for shit.

SpeakerSo you leave the material broken up on the screens for like a couple hours. And then you can break it up more. And boom, it starts raining.

TonyExactly.

SpeakerIt retains a lot of those oils.

TonyThat's what I'm finding is get it latched a little bit and turn the DEs down and turn the temperature down and come back in a few. I did it yesterday and I got so much more. So people got to do that. A lot of people get discouraged, but go back to that material just a little bit more time.

BubblemanEspecially if you're not drying it properly.

TonyWell, finally, if you break up the bugs, you don't get the stomach. All you do is just dry it anyway. So when you're doing a full plant crushing, you've got to do it in stages because no matter which way you look at it, it's not, I dried it for three months, and it still wasn't that dry in the middle. The juicing smelled just amazing because all of those, Essential oils are still trapped in the middle, right?

TonySo it's just, I mean, when you smell it and you're crushing it over the screens, the aromatherapy is just so amazing. I mean, if you ever get a chance, I love it. It's kind of one of my favorite parts. I'm going to be doing a bar this afternoon. You'll see that video soon. I've been waiting to do that. It's been going for over three and a half months, and it's going to be a nice little two-day crushing.

SpeakerYeah, you know, like, I've been to a lot of the original hash feces strains from, like, Afghanistan and regions where you, where hash feces have been made. There's really that dire resonance that when it's cured, the terpenes that were present in there that had a solvent action on that wax membrane have evaporated out. And so you now have a cured wax membrane, instead of a soft wax membrane, which is perfect for making hash when you cure it for several months.

SpeakerAnd I think that with all of the different hybrids that we have out there, it's really important with turkey meat nowadays, we have a problem with caking out. If you want pollen, I don't really have a problem with powder down, you know. It loses its flavor a little bit faster because the insides of those resin heads are exposed to everything else now. But I think really it's the taking out is when there's a lot of terpene present and then it's able to get that water to come in and have that reaction.

SpeakerTo me, the terpenes act as a solvent on the resin head until they're completely cured, if that's even possible for that specific stream. And so it's not.

BubblemanWelcome, Joshua. Coming in, hitting the ham.

BubblemanSchmacking that ham all over the place. Welcome, Space, too. Space is in the house. He's got the classic photo of Jerry Garcia puffing the joint right down to a roach. Good job, Jerry. Good job.

SpeakerWhat up, bizarre brothers?

BubblemanBazaar Brothers. What's up, Jeff?

SpeakerHey, Jeff. What's up, Mark? What's up, Cuban? What's up, everybody?

BubblemanWelcome, welcome, fellow hash makers. We're just talking about resin, resin heads, curing hashes versus the caking of hash. The things that we spend our days thinking about.

SpeakerHey Mark, it looked like you had something to say. Do you want to respond to anything I kind of said today about the curing of the rosin head over time?

MarkYeah, so I mean, if you think about it with just the whole rosin process, what you're doing is you're applying both temperature and pressure, and any other hash making process is a variant of either less pressure or less temperature. I thought it was funny a couple episodes ago when we were discussing that the maker of hash himself, his own body oil, his own sweat, you know, like if he had, you know, a heavily garlic influenced meal, certainly there is human effluent of garlic all around this hash maker who's pressing your hash and so you smoke a piece of I think that's totally fucking cool if you think about it.

MarkBut for real, I mean, really any compression of the plant matter together is obviously going to start fusing material together, especially when you have very high concentration of THCA. So as you know, THCA, if it's 100% absolutely pure, It could be as crystalline as the sugar in your sugar bowl. It could be a white crystalline solid. It would have to be very, very pure and very recrystallized in order for it to be like that, but remember that all the other components that are in the essential oil itself that you're pulling out in the hash are very hydrophobic.

MarkAnd very oil-like and very greasy. And so, yeah, that's why most hashes, really, really pure hashes themselves are yellow. But theoretically, crystalline THC should be absolutely colorless white. All the color that you're seeing are all the minor components, the terpenes and the flavonoids, which all have absorbance in the ultraviolet spectrum, which is why they appeared colored. And you always have to remember that it can take a very, very little amount of these other molecules in there to give colors.

MarkSo something that's yellow versus something that's slightly orange but still yellow, I mean, you can't really make too much of a quantitative comparison because a very, very little amount of material has a big influence on the color of something. But when we were talking about buttering before, Again, this goes back to a discussion that Jen Doe, an often present member here at Hash Church, brought up on a Facebook discussion around the interaction between some hashes, how they would butter out, and really it has a lot to do with moisture exposure.

MarkAnd I think, John, even what you were describing now, a lot of that has to do with moisture and moisture's ability to equilibrate with the environment That the hash or the bud is in. And so moisture plays a very, very big role, I do believe, too, in the rosin making process.

MarkAnyway, a little science.

TonyI realize that even when I'm doing the rosin with buds that are more really, really cure, really, really dry to ones that are more fresher and just the difference that I'm getting. Some is milky, just different. There's so much, bud. Yeah, there's so much moisture that kind of kills us, right? That's the Hashmakers problem, moisture.

MarkIt's a problem, but it's also a blessing. I was going to say, yeah. There's a yin and a yang there.

SpeakerI think so as well.

BubblemanThat moisture is pushing that resin out. That steam of the moisture that's in the bud is like pushing the resin out and the steaming. It's key, actually, to rosin anyway.

TonyOkay, so for rosin, are we looking at more pure dryer buds? Because I'm getting really good results from that. Are we getting more of something that's more of a A fresher cure with a little bit of more moisture in there.

BubblemanWell, it depends on what you think fresher or cured buds are. What's the little thing that can measure humidity in your plants, and then you'll have an exact number of what moisture you have present.

MarkI think you might have some weight on this, but even in a regular extract like a BHO or perhaps a limonene extraction, Moisture still plays a very, very big role. The moisture of the bud before you do the extraction plays a very, very big role again on not only the efficiency of the extraction itself, but as the concentrate dries, like if you put it in your vacuum, that trace amount of water plays a very, very big role in the physical properties of the resin that's left behind.

SpeakerWell, I can absolutely agree, Mark, because I have to add water to remove limonene, so I see the oil transition backwards from butter back to shatter due to the process options I have, but every oil I make goes completely buttered to 100% saturation and then is worked backwards back into an oil, so having seen the process literally morph From one to another and back, I can totally see how long.

SpeakerSome strains take 10 times longer to remove the moisture than others. Some seem to reject the water directly and the process is over really quick. So absolutely, it seems some terpenes never want to let go. And even if you remove those terpenes, as soon as you open the flask, the moisture is heading back in. Yeah.

MarkAs it should.

TonyAs it should. A couple of strengths. A moment of silence means bon rips.

MarkYeah, I guess.

BubblemanI'm just freezing up every time I talk.

SpeakerHe was right. Every time he talks, he freezes.

Etienne FontanAnd this is his new computer, too, right, Mark?

TonyThis is your brand new baby? This would be Mark's brand new baby. You know what? It's getting set up. So, yeah, you know what? I mean, even all the different places in the world, everybody's got different moisture. You know, it's, of course, living on the Pacific Northwest that a lot of people are realizing it's hard to keep your hatch and Thank you for watching.

SpeakerJeff, I've got a question for you. I was talking to a good mutual friend, and we were talking about the raw and the fact that different solvents could very well Thank you for joining us today.

SpeakerI have experienced the clear concentrates. I've smoked the workshop stuff. I've smoked a few different kinds of it. And the stuff that we made from CO2 was completely, to me, different because it has this quality that it's that footprint. Whatever you extract it with, you're going to have that It's that flavor, essence, whatever it is that passes over into your experience. You know, just like the first time anyone hits LHO, they're probably going to taste lime in there.

SpeakerIt's strong, right? But it's that first kind of hit. And then after that, they don't really taste it very much because there's really in reality not that much in there after you're done purging it, you know? But it's that footprint that whatever your extraction process is, you know, every CO2 oil that I've smoked straight that's not clear has the same ATN, little flavor to it that's noticeable that you have with the clear made from the CO2.

SpeakerSelected salt. Yeah. And what Fletcher was just saying is that could be from the selectivity of the solver. You're getting the exact profile that gives it a footprint of what you took from the cannabis plant. You may not be having that solvent left over in there, but the constituents that you've removed are only what that solvent is going to remove during that extraction. Exactly. I knew there was something that didn't make it the be-all and end-all because the selectivity is in question.

SpeakerJust because it just seems like everyone has mountains of BHO starting material that they're like, yeah, yeah, we have to feed this machine and pour out tons of Thank you so much for joining us.

SpeakerThe concept that maybe others didn't have as much terpenes removed, so the taste was different and therefore it was producing a different high, but I totally got this sense that one day we'd be able to scientifically prove when we're not just chasing the part per million of a solvent that the deeper components could be missing that we haven't tested for yet in other types of extracts so that I should keep on with my type of feeding at LHO and never process anyone else's material.

SpeakerSo that I can keep a unique product that may hold something that everyone else is, you could say, raw is not carrying.

SpeakerWell, it's definitely going to be different. You know, I mean, when you make your raw distilled cannabinoids, right, you've removed all the terpenes that you can from that, right, with the solvent and everything else. It's all pretty much gone, but You've got that echo of how it was extracted, that footprint that's always going to come along. That's why I was asking last week about it. I have great interest in it.

SpeakerI just want to make sure that it's going to be something that's really good for recycling. If everybody can take their waste products from whatever it be and utilize that process, That's something that can very effectively. You know, something that you've already rosined or you've already bubbled or you've already VHO'd or whatever. I mean, there's a lot of different processes out there and you can re-extract with another solvent and still get cannabinoids.

SpeakerSo, I don't know. I see it as a recycling mechanism, which is, I believe, what Tetra Labs has been doing for a long time You know, they'll recycle whatever and turn it into pure cannabinoids and then they mix a little limonene in it and put it in a capsule or a little cheese thing or a cartridge. So, you know, I think it's a good way to throw away cannabinoids if we can save them.

MarkThere's terpenes. There's terpenes.

BubblemanGot to come from somewhere. Well, I can't hear anything, guys, but... I'll just stay in the room so you guys can chat and try to make sure I question the right person who's talking.

TonyWe can hear you.

BubblemanWe can hear you fine, man.

TonyJust fine.

SpeakerWell, I guess, Jeff, that's why I had so much concern. I'm like, wait a minute. Tetra Labs has been around for years. How come they're not this phenomenal, sensational company that's been saving people and have data that they're junk? I just figured there was a difference between the junk cannabinoid soup method and visually cleaning that up like you can clean up soybean junk. And actually, I don't know that there's a difference between that and sourcing good material always because I know the clear doesn't always work.

SpeakerIt's not an absolute process. And even removing those herbs can be done incorrectly, never mind I've seen other compounds

SpeakerSo it's not an absolute just because sulfur burns and recondenses at the same temperatures.

TonyRight.

MarkYeah. There is a thermal process. I do believe they're just heating it up. And I can tell you from looking at the NMR, it's very, very clean. It's like a textbook spectrum for THP. Completely decarboxylated. Hardly any terps at all. Yeah, it's very, very clean. Clean concentrates is what it ought to be called. Not clear.

SpeakerWell, I guess it's because I looked at how many loopholes there were where I could make it very dirty by just being sloppy. That there seems, there's going to be a bunch of people buying Kugelroars and jumping on the market and they'll look at the terpenes you're supposed to remove or else it can be very harsh and look at that as weight that they should reconstitute back in because I did a batch of 80 grams and pulled off 12 grams of fish trains.

SpeakerThere's a lot of people that are going to try to re-infuse that for whatever ends, but they're really bad to smoke. That's not going to work for you there, Horatio.

MarkThere are already people who are doing that.

SpeakerYeah, those are some nasty recombinations, I would imagine, usually. You know, I mean, you've got to think of it, most people are using a product that Like we say is subgrade, I guess, already. So, you know, it's just recycling that's going on. So those terpenes that you take out of there, they're completely out of ratio and completely broken down from what they originally were on the plant material.

SpeakerThere's, you know, I don't think that they're something you really want to be ingesting in those kind of ratios like that. Maybe they are. You might get a good batch, but I don't know. Well, that's it. They seem to all radicalize into this one homogenized stink. And I just don't know that anyone's forcing the issue of that if you don't remove that properly, it can turn the product back into a nasty experience.

SpeakerAnd with so many people hearing the term lobster, they'll adopt the concept that this fish effect belongs.

BubblemanSorry about that, guys. I was having some technical difficulties, but I can now hear you guys. So hopefully it was a great conversation. I'll go back and watch it later, maybe.

SpeakerI can't hear you, Mark.

TonyYou bastard!

TonyOkay, let's not talk about Mark anymore.

BubblemanAll right, all right.

SpeakerYeah, I mean, going back onto the selectivity of the solvent, I mean, I don't know if you guys know, you got those friends that only smoke BHO and you give them a big old fat joint of some dank weed, they go, oh, man, I'm all flower high. You got me all flower high. And, you know, I think that's part of the same thing in terms of what Horatio's talking about also, that you only have a certain amount or a certain selectivity of the solvent.

SpeakerIt's only going to pull that subset of You can hear us? Yes.

SpeakerPerfect. All right. We're going to smoke two grams of rosin. We'll get back to you. All right. Yeah, you know, rosin is definitely the least selective of all of the hash oil techniques that are out there. You know, this SHO that people like to call it. It's definitely the way. Nice. Make some clear from that, Horatio.

SpeakerWell, I thought about what kind of puree could you make out of the bud to just cold heat extract that, and it seemed to be a limitation of surface area contact. And then the answer went to microwaves. Did you guys run out of something to talk about? Why is no one talking?

BubblemanHoratio was talking. You just interrupted him.

SpeakerOh, keep going. We got kicked off and came back on. We didn't know what happened.

BubblemanWell, maybe you couldn't hear Horatio. Sometimes we've had some weird... I had to leave Firefox and open everything up in Safari, and now I think it's working good for me.

MarkSafari's so good.

BubblemanThat's what I did anyway. I Safarized.

BubblemanNow we can't hear you. You muted yourself.

SpeakerYeah, so Horatio's done now. He is now, yes. It's ridiculous, man. Like, earlier, D420 was trying to get an answer from Cuban. He couldn't hear a fucking thing. This whole time, we're trying to listen to what Horatio said, and we're like, what happened to him? And then we log back in, log back out, and I missed the whole damn thing.

BubblemanI need to get on, like, Joe Rogan's, like, scene, where he's just got the whole, like, professional setup with, like, mics and stuff, and

SpeakerHow do we do that for you? How do we get that through?

BubblemanI think it's coming. I think that it's coming. It's just, you know, well, maybe we'll set it up for... Maybe we'll... I'm just trying to talk here. Maybe we'll be able to do it at the Cannabis Cup where we can set up a live stream of the Hash Church booth. And figure out a way to like get the solid. I think I know a guy in Jamaica who has access to military satellite internet.

SpeakerOh yeah. I remember you were talking about that with that guy.

BubblemanYeah, exactly. So he does live streaming by subscription for companies that he works for. So everything has to be done redundant. So he has to have two of everything. Because when people are paying like 10 or 20 bucks to watch a show, they don't so much mind getting bummed.

SpeakerI think we're talking about a level man.

TonyWhat's that? I don't think he's talking to us.

BubblemanWell, that's okay. 624 people are watching right now. Fucking A. Let's have a bong rip for them. Oh, what are we hitting? What are we hitting? What are we hitting? Straight fab? With the sapphire insert? A little sapphire in that titanium? I don't know.

SpeakerI've been really busy, but tomorrow I'm going to find your... Remember the guy you hooked me up with with the silicone carbide?

BubblemanYeah. Cuban's getting one cent now, too.

SpeakerYeah, all I have to do is pay the invoice and I'll have it at my front door. What invoice? I don't know. He sent me a bill for it. Oh, shit. I mean, things cost money, dude. Like, I don't expect you to give me stuff.

TonyUp here. Everybody, my dad just showed up. So, as always, I love you all. Peace and have a great day. And we'll see you next time. Have a good day, Johnny. Take care, John.

BubblemanDid he say his dad just showed up? Awesome. Well, have a good day with your dad. That's always nice. Oh, what I wouldn't do to have a day with my old man. Been gone 10 years now.

Bubbleman10 years.

BubblemanBest to appreciate what you have while you have it.

SpeakerYes, sir.

SpeakerI love being a dad. It's my favorite. Now you're a dad.

BubblemanDad? Lots of dads in the room. Who said they love being a dad?

SpeakerI did.

BubblemanIt is your favorite, isn't it?

SpeakerYeah, I love being a dad. I have a little, like, he's almost three and he's like the most fun thing, like, ever. Just talk him around and beat him up, take him everywhere. He's a chick magnet. I am married, but it is fun. You get to flirt a little bit.

BubblemanWell, I'm telling you, it's the unconditional love. I saw this little thing on parenting the other day of all these people, the top ten things that they would do or something or that you won't be ready for. The number one thing was the love, just the insane amounts of love that comes out of your child's face when they smile at you. And even strangers for that matter, like people just love being smiled at by a baby.

BubblemanIt makes them feel good.

SpeakerYeah, your baby's always smiling. It warms, every time, we'll be like talking about something serious and then you'll just take your phone out and show me a picture of him smiling, doing something, and it's just like, it's the most warming moment. It's hilarious. It's great. It's great.

BubblemanYep, that's what they give us. It's an important aspect of life that I'm certain it's... I mean, my God, where else do we learn about it more than from the little children, the little baby faces just smiling up at you with the most innocence. And three, that's a hell of a fun age. Now he's like walking and talking and just about to start shredding, really. Skateboarding and downhill skiing and all that stuff starts right around three, four.

SpeakerTerrible threes. Yeah, it's a fun age, man. I'm having a great time, dude. Like he... He's running around jumping off of everything so he gets hurt a lot right now. So that's a hard thing to deal with as a parent. I feel like that's what I'm dealing with right now. It's like he busted his lip open like real bad the other day. He was chasing his dog around and tripped over a dude.

SpeakerAnd like that's the worst thing is to try and have to leave for the day or something when your kid gets hurt and you're just thinking about it all day. When's your kid's birthday? What's that? When's his birthday? What month? June 15th. Sounds like we need to get a little football uniform. Yes, sir, we do. He's a big boy, too. I really only last like 26, 27 years.

BubblemanThat's going to be awesome.

BubblemanOh my God, dude, that's what I'm saying. I literally cannot, even though I remember being like in Jamaica and Tony being like, yeah, man, they're going to have a cannabis cup here. And I was like, really, you think so? And he's like, I'm telling you, man, we're going to have, it's got to happen. I mean, they're going to do it. And I'm like, yeah, I mean, they should do it, but do you think they'll do it?

BubblemanThat's awesome.

SpeakerI'm so excited. I'd love to go run some local material for an entry or something. That would be awesome.

BubblemanYeah, well, we'll find out what the rules are, and we'll find out what we're allowed to do, and it'll be a full representation of the unity in the community.

SpeakerExactly, yeah. I mean, I obviously get to run a lot of, like, you know, strains that they have, their land rates and stuff like that. It'd be awesome to not only learn, but, I mean, compete with some of that, too. That'd be so awesome.

BubblemanYeah, I mean, it's nice that they announced it when they did as well, because I think it'll be important for people to, you know... Make a point on growing a specific crop for the resin that they want to produce for this particular event.

BubblemanI think, yeah, it's pretty cool. It's definitely, do you think that they'll do the cannabis cup in Amsterdam as well, you guys? Do you think they'll pull that 10 days later or it's done?

SpeakerI don't think so. From what I've heard, I don't think so as well. But I mean, I hope they've had a great time. What did Aaron say? It's done. It's not happening anymore. Official? Official like a referee whistle. Wow. The World Cannabis Cup. You notice that? Yes. So that would be the world of legends maybe as well.

SpeakerBut they're going to do one in Spain. I know that's going to happen too.

BubblemanSure. That makes sense.

SpeakerWell, I'm okay with Spain and Jamaica. Those are two great places to visit.

BubblemanAre you kidding me? From now on in November, we don't have to go to fucking cold, rainy Amsterdam? We have to go to Jamaica?

SpeakerPretty awesome. That's a game changer.

BubblemanCome on!

SpeakerYeah. People don't know until they get there. You know, it's a very small island. You could drive around the island in like 12 hours or so.

TonyAsh Cruise to Jamaica.

SpeakerI've got approached by, I actually got approached by a company, I won't say what the name is, but they want to do, they already specialize in cruises and different tours and things, and they contacted us because they wanted to do that Bubble Man World Tour built into like, just built into like, you know, different cruises or things that are cannabis friendly, you know, so I think you're going to see A lot more of that.

SpeakerAnd it's going to take a while, but I think you'll see that in like six months to a year.

BubblemanWell, how about this for exciting, Tony? I've talked to Nayatali in Kingston, and she found out, remember when I took you to the Blue Cave Castle? Yes. So we found out in the third week of June we could rent that whole thing. It's 35 people can sleep on it. Totally reasonable dollar amount, and I might do the first Bubble Man's World Tour just as a small little pre-trip, and it'll be kind of like what my first trip was.

BubblemanSo I'll bring people in the grill, I'll take them to Roaring River, I'll make hash with them in a ganja field, and then I'll take them to Jamaica, to Kingston, just for the last two nights, where they can hang out with Kiddus and Prophecy and go to Fliega's studio and watch someone cut them.

SpeakerWe could take them to Indy Art.

BubblemanTo where? Indy Art. Oh yeah, Into the Yard, well for sure dude, that as well, like I want to do a dub wise show, so it's like Yardcore with like one of the bands or whatever, take them to a real rootsy fucking Jamaica, Kingston, like this is the fucking nightlife in Kingston and everyone in here has a gun, but have a good time.

SpeakerYeah, that's pretty funny the way you said that, pretty accurate.

BubblemanI just want people to experience the vibe, man. That's it. And if I can do that in a week-long trip and create a little bit of a monetary benefit for our friends locally, just for being themselves, not for doing anything out of their ordinary life, but just, yeah, prophecy. Go sing a song at FLEGO Studio, and the tour's going to come in and watch and vibe out and experience it.

SpeakerDon't jack them.

BubblemanNo, Prophecy's too. Prophecy was just the fucking greatest guy ever, man. Such a good dude.

SpeakerHe's a really great guy. Yep. He's always in a positive mood. Even when he was in pain and hurting from the chick beat. Exactly. He was still positive.

BubblemanYeah, and same thing with Kiddus. Super positive. Super excited to potentially help him out with his new song, Ganja Baby.

SpeakerOh yeah, with the video you were just talking about. I got my phone set up.

BubblemanBut also a production, like to produce the song.

BubblemanBecause, you know, while everything's happening what's happening, I think in the background we should be producing reggae music.

SpeakerAmong the other things I have going on, yeah. I used to own a music studio, though, for a few years, and film and music, and that's actually what I did for a career.

BubblemanNice. Well, I've always just loved music since the early days of taking psychedelic mushrooms and realizing the importance of the vibration of music on my very being. Yep. I hung out with the self-reflecting machine elves and they taught me much.

BubblemanThey did, however, also teach me that these, what is, how does Terrence say this? I don't want to fuck up a Terrence McKenna quote. These substances do not bathe the ego in a cloud of certitude. Yeah. That's what you want to, that's a good understanding once you've eaten five or six grams of mushrooms to have while you're in the fetal position shaking in the corner.

Etienne FontanI think I call that a heroic dose.

BubblemanYeah, that's what Terrence called it. He called it a heroic dose. Yeah, a heroic dose. A five gram, five dried grams of the psilocybin cubanses is enough to flatten the hardened, the most hardened ego. And I'll have you know, the first mushrooms I ever grew, I ordered from a company by the name of Sygeny, which was owned by Terence and Kat McKenna out of Maui, and they sold spores on the internet back in the late 80s, and we got our spores.

BubblemanAnd we grew that strain that he writes about in his book, The Archaic Revival, which is the story of him and Dennis going down to Central America and discovering that the priest had cleared some trees and brought in cows, and in the cow shit that they found these mushrooms, and then the whole Terrence and Dennis McKenna journey. I don't know if we have many Terrence McKenna fans in the room, but I was extreme.

BubblemanI listened to all his talks from the Esselam Institute as well as all around California and up the West Coast. I got into Rupert Sheldrake. I got into Ralph Abraham. I read all their books as well as the book they wrote with Terrence, Trilogues at the Edge of the West. I was a huge fan. I even got to meet his son, Finn, who was a really fucking cool kid and got to bubble him up one day nicely.

BubblemanUnfortunately, never got to link up with Terrence before he passed away. But I'll tell you, Terrence is definitely in a group of a handful of people that beyond inspired me. A lot of what I learned didn't come from books or school, but it came from eating like five plus grams of mushrooms like three, four times a week while growing his mushrooms in my closet. Thank you, Terrence.

SpeakerThat's serious shit, bro.

BubblemanYeah, that was like my history when I was a teenager, dude. Instead of getting into booze, I got into Terrence because this guy, Harry, who was like a local dude in Winnipeg, and he was like just this super fucking cool dude that always had epic weed. He had like a master's degree or a PhD, but... He actually regarded it more as a joke. And how he finally made his money was he invented this game called Scruples, and he made millions of dollars off this game, Scruples.

BubblemanAnd so he used to have all these tapes of Terrence McKenna's talks. He would order them from the internet. And we were young. I was like 17 years old. He hooked me up through my friend Martin with these tapes. I would just devour them, man. I'll never forget. If you guys want to hear an incredible... Terrence McKenna Lecture, the greatest one of all time in my opinion.

BubblemanIt's called Psilocybin in the Sands of Time. And you can Google that shit and oh man, that is a serious lecture.

SpeakerI'm going to check that out, man. That sounds really awesome.

BubblemanYeah, Psilocybin in the Sands of Time. There's tons of great Terrence Lectures, but that one is like, that one really resonated with me strongly. And I'm happy to pass it on on Hash Church. You never know what you're going to be able to pass on on Hash Church. And to me, for those that are listening, Google this shit, because this is some timeless, serious shit that, to me, is important to hear, especially in... Yeah, this book, Invisible Landscape, is something you want to have people...

SpeakerI've seen a lot of things, and I don't know if they're legit, but I've seen a lot of things at least pop up on the Internet... Um, about psilocybin and the positive effects and the healing powers.

BubblemanSure. Well, it's in the tryptamine family. So it is, it is a tryptamine. Psilocybin and psilocin are both tryptamines. They can be potentiated through the use of haramine and harmaline, which is what ayahuasca is. It's a DMT used usually verudha, verulis.

MarkWait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Psilocybin is not necessarily, okay, okay.

SpeakerWell, DMT, DMT, Tony's asking where DMT comes from, and at least to my knowledge, it's a naturally occurring chemical in your body, and it only gets released when you, well, when you get stressed, and then when you die, and when you, and when you're born. But you can find it naturally in a toad, the Bufo Alcorius, and then you can synthetically make it in a lab.

MarkRight. Okay. Okay. So here it is. So what Mark said is actually right.

SpeakerIn my opinion, the toad is great. I don't know if any of you have had experiences with the Bufo Aporius, but it is, Are you saying, Mark, that the psilocybin is not in the tryptamine family?

MarkHold on. Let me, yeah, no, no, no. It is. Let me just clarify a few things, okay, that you said. Okay.

SpeakerI can't hear anything Dr. Mark is saying.

MarkYeah, all these compounds that we're talking about do belong to a sort of a general class of family in that, say, they're called alcohol.

SpeakerYou guys not hear me?

MarkI can hear you.

BubblemanGo ahead. I'm just going to mute them. They can't hear you, but they'll figure it out.

MarkOkay, so these things are all called alkaloids, and like Mark said, yes, psilocybin is a tryptamine alkaloid, but it's not tryptamine itself like dimethyltryptamine that's in DMT. So these are two very, very, very different things. While it's true that what you said, Mark, is absolutely accurate because if you look at the psilocybin molecule, you can see the tryptamine molecule inside it. It's just decorated with some more stuff.

MarkBut I don't want people to walk away saying, oh, well, psilocybin and tryptamine, it's the same thing. It's not. But what you said was absolutely accurate in that it's in the tryptamine class of alkaloids, which alkaloids is a much larger class of molecules, which includes things like ibogaine and cocaine and a lot of different naturally occurring molecules. Usually, alkaloids usually contain nitrogen. All these molecules contain nitrogen.

MarkNow, DMT, which is dimethyltryptamine, is related to tryptamine, and everyone knows about tryptophan, which is a naturally occurring amino acid. So when you take the naturally occurring amino acid and you decarboxylate it, similar to the way that you would decarboxylate cannabinoids, You convert tryptophan, which is a naturally occurring amino acid, the one that's in turkey that makes you sleepy, you convert that into tryptamine. Now, again, Shogun and a variety of different chemists made a lot of different derivatives of tryptamines, but those aren't the same derivatives that what you're talking about, Mark, which are the tryptamines that occur in psilocybin because those have completely different Adam's on a different part of the molecule.

MarkI just wanted to make sure that that distinction was made. Yes.

BubblemanThe only thing that I would mention that was another part of what I said was that the same way ayahuasca, which is the Veruta Verulis vine that contains the DMT, is potentiated by harmine and harmaline, which is from the Banisteriopsis root capybart. Mushrooms, psilocybin, and psilocin are also potentiated by harming and harmaline in a very similar fashion.

MarkThat's right. There's a similar entourage effect that's going on there, and it's interesting, Mark, because that's where, so I can tell right away from your delivery, this guy has read McKenna. Right away, as soon as you say what you just said, you only know that because you read Terence McKenna and I applaud you for that. It's excellent. And we experienced it. Yes, absolutely. So it's interesting because those guys were really ahead of their time.

MarkAnd in fact, I went to a very interesting seminar just last week on music and healing and how music, and especially the semitones that are found in between the notes of Western music that's only in Eastern Music also vibrates a certain frequency in your body that's similar to, I think, what the McKenna's were trying to push for in some type of effect that has not just a chemical effect, kind of like what we have with cannabis, but something that actually cause an auditory ringing in the ear or that extra sensorial thing that you have during the ayahuasca Thank you so much for joining us.

MarkIt was just a bunch of really high psychedelic rangers thinking about how these molecules are interacting in the brain, and it's a really interesting idea, but they never were able to develop a method to prove their hypothesis, but it showed you how fucking far out and cool these guys were.

BubblemanYeah, they really were, and the things that they said in their dialogues were so inspirational that, once again, I just urge all of you to go and Google up some Terrence McKenna. Google up Rupert Sheldrake. Rupert Sheldrake, of course, had the, his theory was the morphin. And Sasha Shogun. You cannot forget Sasha.

MarkNo. Sasha was an extreme. That's a whole other ballpark. Extremely important individual that I don't know if the people, have we talked about Sasha in church before, Mark?

BubblemanTodd has mentioned Sasha a little bit. I might have mentioned the story of seeing him speak on occasion and getting to meet him and his wife. I've read both his books, Tikal and Tikal, Phenothelamines I Have Known and Loved, as well as Tryptamines I Have Known and Loved. They're unbelievable books that are very difficult for the average person just to pick up and read, but definitely worthwhile.

BubblemanThe guy was incredible. It's still sort of unbelievable that he's finally passed on, although he was, I believe, in his late 80s. He was amazing. He discovered a lot of really cool Psychedelic compounds that, you know, inspired a lot of fun and a lot of people.

MarkYeah, well, there's a really cool, Mark, there's a really cool video. I guess we could put it up on the Hash Church wall. It's called Dirty Pictures. If you go to YouTube and Google Sasha Shogun and Dirty Pictures, you'll see it's about an hour long. And it's just such a cool... You're inside his lab and you get to see his quirkiness as a chemist and, yeah, I mean, very inspiring to someone like me.

BubblemanYeah, I can imagine. I see the picture just now. It's a 90-minute documentary. There's a picture of him and you can just see all the jars and beakers and stuff in the background. Horatio's going to be liking that one. I've already watched it 18 times. Hey, welcome, Jen Doe.

SpeakerHey, these guys want to make, they want to, You want to make the clear out of turkey grease, bro. I don't know what you're talking about.

MarkYou want to bake down turkey. Yeah, so let me make sure I clarify. You can't decarboxylate tryptophan like you decarboxylate cannabis. You can't just heat it up. You have to do it enzymatically, okay? Stick that in your pocket.

SpeakerSo where do you get the enzymes from? Yeah, what's up?

BubblemanI'll link you guys up with the heady enzymes, bro.

MarkNo, actually, that's probably how tryptamine is made commercially. There's a bug that can enzymatically digest tryptophan and convert it into tryptamine. I'm absolutely certain that's how they do it. Commercially, I don't know, to tell you the truth, without Googling it myself.

SpeakerI definitely love turkey rosin, for sure.

BubblemanDabs of turkey rosin?

TonyStay turkey, my friend.

BubblemanWhere have we gone? Where have we gone? Let's go back to welcoming Jen Doe into the room. Hi, guys.

SpeakerTalking about de-carving turkey in tryptophan. Is that the new indica?

BubblemanPsychedelics. Talking about it all. And psychedelics.

SpeakerWhat did I miss? What the hell?

BubblemanI'll tell you.

SpeakerHey guys, I got to take off. I'm going to go take my son to the baseball game today, so I'll check you guys next time. Yeah, I'm getting off too. Have a good one, guys. Later.

Etienne FontanThe reverend, the doctor, peace. Peace. Yeah, is somebody going to put turkey in a flat iron next?

BubblemanIt's already being done. Are you kidding me? Tony's already doing it off camera.

SpeakerThe only problem is Tony ate the result of the flat iron pressed turkey in the George Foreman grill.

Etienne FontanYou've got to be careful because you might end up with turkey, you know.

MarkTurkey bag, turkey basters.

SpeakerWe can't hear Mark, so we're going to log out and log back in. That whole entire time we could never hear Mark. It was so depressing.

BubblemanYou'll be able to go back and listen to it. It's, what are we at, the two hour point or something here?

SpeakerYeah, we're going to log out and come back in. Alright, we'll see you in a bit.

BubblemanYeah, we've been having some serious technical difficulties here in Hash Church today. Hopefully everyone is able to hear. Welcome back.

MarkIt's working fine. It doesn't cut out for me at all. Working just fine.

SpeakerWe can't hear Mark, we can't hear Mark, so we're going to log out and log back in that whole entire time.

BubblemanJesus Louise. Are we having enough technical difficulties here? Tony loves those turkey turps. Turkey turps?

BubblemanAlright, are we all able to hear each other now? Yes.

SpeakerI hear everybody just fine.

BubblemanWell, you know, I've thought of getting my friend Elliot who put my bubble man Sizzler together to try and get him to go through some of these hash churches and pull out some of these real powerful stories like your friend from a couple weeks ago, Jen, as well as Jessica from last week and Samantha from many months ago and probably some other stories that I'm forgetting.

Etienne FontanIt would probably make a nice little sequence just to have those stories together outside of all the other

BubblemanStuff that we talk about. Michigan Farmer says, Jen, I saw you in Skunk this month. All right. She was there.

SpeakerYeah, that was pretty cool. They did a bunch of top women in the industry and stuff. There was a lot of really good girls in there.

BubblemanVery cool. Very cool. Good on them. That's nice for them to do. Recognize the ladies in the industry. Yeah, but only one of them is on Hash Church.

MarkOnly one of them's on Hash Church. It's true. It's true.

SpeakerIt's true. Well, I appreciate you guys having me all the time.

BubblemanGo, Jen. Go, Jen.

SpeakerWoo-hoo. Woo-hoo.

BubblemanCompilation, yep. Tony is muted, but he probably knows that right now. Can you hear us, Tony? Welcome back, Cuban. Excellent. I like the random thumb that just came into the screen that was neither Ken's nor Tony's. Hey, what's up, dude?

SpeakerNope. So this is Eli. He works with us. He washes a lot of our material and stuff. So say hi to Eli. Hey.

BubblemanNice to meet you. Nice. Rocking the trichome heavy extracts all day, every day. Nice. It's actually DNA. Beautiful, beautiful. In your DNA shirt. Excellent. See that representation, Aaron?

BubblemanCuban's got a respectable fucking hair frame going around his entire face and head.

SpeakerI love that Trichome Heavy Extracts jersey. I ragged it out until I just couldn't wear it anymore because it was so dirty. I need to wash it. That shit is dope. Yo, Cuban, send me your information. I'll send you some of the new stuff. And Bubba Man as well. Send me your information and I'll send you some of the new gear. Hell yeah. So I walked into an alignment shop.

SpeakerI had some Kong in my pocket and I had that Trichome Heavy Extracts jersey and I drove my Corolla to get aligned. And I get in and the guy's like, ooh, yeah, you smell good, huh? Not that loud. I was like, damn, I have a shirt that says OG over haze and I smell so loud there's no way to even hide it.

SpeakerIt's true, man. We'll be at like the sandwich shop or like a bar or something and somebody, you just get like the look, you know, like from across, you're like, what's up? It's pretty cool. I like it.

BubblemanNectar Collector, rockin'.

SpeakerI'll show you guys the new ones. We got a bunch of different colors, too.

TonyNew logo.

SpeakerThose LHO lines got me down. Very nice. You guys have some sick new logos, man. I saw them on your main page.

Etienne FontanWhere can we find that online?

SpeakerThanks, man. Yeah, send me your info and I'll get some stuff out. We should be coming out to Washington here soon, too, so maybe we should get a wash going or something. We'll collaborate on something. Hey, that sounds good, man. You know what? My boy has a nice cookie room going right now with like three, four flavors, one of them being the Forum Cut. Some crosses by a local dude out here in Washington.

SpeakerHe goes by Kush for Breakfast. One of them is called Smarties, which is his cookies cross to Blue City Diesel. The Gushers is the cookies cross to Blue City Diesel, and man, those turfs are crazy on those. So yeah, come through to Washington, man. There'll be more than enough material to run. When we came back from Amsterdam, we flew to Seattle just to go hang out with him for a few hours.

SpeakerHe's got like... Some of the best hash that I've ever smoked. I smoked some fresh Blue City cookies that you were talking about from him, like fresh. And then some of the best weed I've ever smoked. So good. Yeah. Hey, that stuff stains like your fingers with just some loud ass reekage, bro. It was hard to roll the joint, you know, because I was breaking it up with my fingers and I couldn't roll the joint because it kept getting reeked up in my fingers.

SpeakerYeah, so that's one of the first times where I like breaking up my weed by hand, right? Yeah. And rolling up a blunt. So the first time that this dude brought out his cookies, I'm there breaking it up by hand, and when I grab the blunt, I'm like tearing the paper because it's just sticking to the tips of my fingers. So I had to break out the scissors, bro, and just like break it down like that.

SpeakerIt's pretty crazy. He's such a good dude too, man. We should get him on here or something sometime. I know he doesn't like to show his face that much, but it'd be cool to get him on or something, have him hang out, you know, sash or something on Hash Church.

BubblemanWell, absolutely. It's the responsibility that we have to the people that watch this. If you can bring a guest, if you can make something cool appear, if you can have a great story, if you can have some sort of inspiration, of course that goes a long way with the audience. They appreciate it.

SpeakerHe also has some beautiful glass he could show everyone as well. He has an amazing collection of glass.

BubblemanNice. Dude, I've been so spoiled on glass lately, I can't even... It's just been ridiculous, dude.

SpeakerThat's actually an understatement.

BubblemanDude.

Bubbleman420 was so ridiculous.

TonyThe glass that was... Oh, those pictures, man. That shit was crazy.

BubblemanDude! That Gates and Deppie hookah collab.

SpeakerHoly Christ. Don't you get nervous hitting those things, dude? I get nervous, bro.

BubblemanDude, I shed tears just looking at those pipes. I literally just well up and a tear comes out my eye. I'm like, what happened there?

SpeakerThe 16 plus opal mothership that... You know, I don't even know if I could hit it.

BubblemanWe hit the 66, the 33, the 88.

SpeakerIf the piece costs more than 25 racks, I don't think I want to hit it. I just want to look at it. Or I'll watch you hit it.

Etienne FontanHow about double 25 racks?

SpeakerNo, no, I'm cool with that.

BubblemanI'll watch you hit it still. Yeah, when you're hitting a piece that the carb cap is worth like 4 Gs U.S., Oh, man.

SpeakerYeah, even the OFZ, like the matching OFZ has got to be like, you know, $2,000.

BubblemanOh, at least, bro. Especially the one, the 88 Opal one has like eight Opals around the top of it. Perfectly like the red ones, too. Like, oh, man, they're so... I just, like I said, I've never really, I've seen them here and there. He's shared them with me, but he's never pulled them all out. Like, here's the one-in-one, eggos in an eggos. Like, okay, that's insane. An egg, a fab egg inside a fab egg.

SpeakerIt's crazy, bro.

BubblemanYeah, and then, you know, the fab Taurus Klein or the fab Klein Taurus, whatever you want to call it, the FTK, also completely ridiculous. And it just never stopped all day. Even yesterday when I went and saw him, he pulled out the AK tube. He's just like, here, check this out with the new Halen trough, which you guys will really like. That Halen trough bowl is pretty sweet, gotta say.

SpeakerI haven't got to try one out yet. He lives pretty close to us, and he loves to smoke our hash as well. But we don't get to go up and see him as much anymore. But yeah, those troughs look really awesome.

BubblemanYeah, you should go up there and trade them a little hash for some troughs and then send me one because I need one too.

SpeakerSpeaking of, since we're going to shout out Joel Halen, I have a recycler by him. I'll show you guys what we've been smoking out.

BubblemanYeah, absolutely. You've got to give Joel and Pukin Beagle both shout outs. They're really the ones forwarding the courts right now. That's sick, dude.

SpeakerI got this a few months ago. This is a 2014 Joel... Client Recycler. Beautiful.

BubblemanDid he do the bowl? Did he do that quartz bowl?

SpeakerNo, it's a Puking Beagle knockoff. It came with the smart nail.

BubblemanOkay, I thought it looked like it would be.

SpeakerAlso, yeah, shout out to our homie Nels who makes the smart nails as well.

BubblemanWe're good.

SpeakerHe keeps us all hooked up just like you and the D-Nail boys as well.

BubblemanDude, did you see the new D-Nail case?

SpeakerI have not, no. Yeah. Oh, wow. That thing's crazy.

TonyYeah.

BubblemanThat thing runs three nails at once, and so I've got my... Wow, man. That is serious.

SpeakerI'm going to get him over here. He's in Denver right now. Who is? The owner of D-Nail.

BubblemanWhat, Stevie or Brian? Yeah, he just reached out to me. I'm going to have him come over. Which one, Stevie or Brian?

TonyHe's checking.

BubblemanHe's checking. It'll probably be Stevie. I think Stevie's in Denver right now. Maybe Brian. I don't know.

SpeakerYeah. Give him some raws and dabs, man. I wish I can have hooked them up with some sift because they're doing such a nice move, man. The dude hit me up and is sharing a D-nail, sending it over to me, so I'm excited. Yo, Tony wants to hook him up with some of the sift you gave him. Huh? Tony was asking if you want him to give him some of the sift you gave him.

SpeakerWell, that's Tony's head stash, man, but I'm sure I can get Sif to the dude somehow.

BubblemanTony doesn't have enough head stash.

SpeakerFor sure. Yeah, man, I wish I could have left a fat jar with Tony. Tony's got to give up that, bro. He'll smoke it in like a few days, though, so it's better if he leaves less. Nah, I'd rather Tony share that stuff with you and Jibs, bro. I appreciate it, brother. Thank you. Yeah. I said we didn't get to hang out as much this time, but hopefully we can come out and do that wash like we were talking about.

SpeakerThat would be epic. Yeah, man. Like I was telling the guys in the chat, they're like, hey, Cuban, when I came up to you, you looked like you were going kind of crazy or whatever. Man, cup time is hard, man. You barely even get to chill with the people you really want to chill with because everybody's overwhelmed. Especially if you have a booth, you know, and you're trying to, you know, you're competing as well.

SpeakerYou have to get a lot of faith, you know, and do interviews, talk to a lot of people. It's tough. It's a lot for sure, bro, for sure.

BubblemanI love how Jen's just trimming buds.

BubblemanOh, yeah.

SpeakerI had to take a break from work to join you guys. I've been crazy since I got home.

SpeakerApparently everyone in chat was breathing. So I saw some people with dry sieved while I was in Denver. Oh, my God. That was incredible, wasn't it? Yeah. It was grown by Miss Green Thumb. She's the girl that got first place in hybrid medical cup in Denver. Now, it was cleaned with static. It was relatively clean. It was very purple. And when you pressed it out, man, it was really clear and purple.

SpeakerIt was just the craziest looking stuff. I have a picture of it I'm going to post on Instagram. It wasn't very melty, though. I didn't get to try it. But from what they were telling me, it didn't melt very well. I had a strain that put out pink heads, and it was like really magenta when you pressed it out, and that didn't melt very well either. So maybe it has something similar.

BubblemanYeah, I've seen a lot of really nice outdoor material I've seen produce that sort of beautiful pinkish purpley color, but also not as melty.

SpeakerThe hanty signs wouldn't affect the melt, would it?

BubblemanWell, I think the anthocyanin would affect the melt if it's present in the stock and it's not pure.

SpeakerBecause if it was 95% plus clean, it should melt. It should, yeah. Okay, so if the head itself inside the head is red or purple or pink or whatever on the trichome head itself, is that anthocyanin? Like what gives it the dye?

BubblemanI've always thought that that's just a different color of the terpene profile. I don't know enough about it if the anthocyanin can climb right into the head, but I know for a fact inside the stock is anthocyanin. That's where it's present, for sure.

SpeakerI was under the assumption just from discussions like Mark and I have had and stuff like that, that it somehow leaches in from the trichome stock or something like that. That's just my assumption. Yep.

SpeakerYeah, I have a picture on my Instagram way back probably eight, nine months ago when I started getting a little better at sifting. I had sifted 99% heads on that pink strain. It was a plush berry. I'll dig back and see if I can share it with you guys. But the head inside, my garden hand had a really good camera, so you could see a lot of detail.

SpeakerAnd it looked like you could see the shell inside. Or whatever the membrane of it, and then inside it was pink. It was so cool.

BubblemanOh, a lot of people have really been enjoying the fact that you have trim in your hair, Cuban. They're like, that guy lives, breathes, and sleeps weed, man. He's got weed in his hair. Awesome.

SpeakerIncredible.

SpeakerYou know, it's part of the dreadlocks, man. Dude, it's awesome.

BubblemanI mean, seriously, that's legit, bro.

SpeakerYeah, my wife had called me, that's why I got off of the hash church, and I guess I was laying next to the trim bins and stuff, so yeah, I probably have more trim in my hair somewhere. Wicked, dude, wicked. We appreciate it.

BubblemanWe're certainly not talking it down. I give you three points for the fucking trim in your hair.

SpeakerWord. And she's watching right now, actually, from Florida. She comes back on Tuesday. Can't wait to see her. Congratulations on your third place win, Cuban Hash Queen. Good job. Yeah, man. She actually also got first place on the Dope Cup. That was the same day as the High Times Awards ceremony. She placed first with the Kimbo. Congratulations. Yeah. So it's a husband and wife cup winners. That's like a little known fact too about the blue suede shoes that I ran for Amsterdam.

SpeakerI washed it with my wife and it was the first and only time she's ever washed a hand of this. And then Jib's biker claimed it. So I mean it was a husband-wife collaboration. Yeah, man. You know what? I'm sure that you feel it as a hash maker. When you have a lady or when you're deep in the industry, sometimes you spend a lot of time in the lab or you spend a lot of time working, so you see limited time with your significant others.

SpeakerSo if you include them in it, then you get to bond more. You teach them skills that are valuable, man. I mean, hashing, growing, all of that are skills that are good for the rest of your life.

BubblemanUnless you travel to Malaysia with weed in your hair, in which case they will hang you or shoot you.

SpeakerI won't go to Malaysia, bro.

BubblemanGood. Let's not go to Malaysia for now. Until they change. Hey, you know what? Malaysia's cool. I'm not talking about Malaysia. I just don't like their zero tolerance drug user thing.

SpeakerHey, I thought about you yesterday, man, when I heard about the earthquake that they had in Nepal. Oh my goodness. There was a lot of lives lost, man. An earthquake, yeah, man. 1,900 people have died and There was an avalanche on Mount Everest. Yep.

BubblemanYou know there was actually 24 earthquakes?

SpeakerWhoa, yeah. I didn't know it was 24, but I know they got messed up over there, bro. And when I was looking at the pictures of the base camps, they hang all these flags, right? And I realize they're all the same colors as your waterhouse, man.

BubblemanThat's not a coincidence. My partner lives in Nepal and is married to a Nepali woman. They were in those earthquakes. I talked to him yesterday. He's okay. He's living outside in his outdoor garden. He's got a kitchen out there and they're just camping out, but buildings fell. He said for three hours, every five to ten minutes, there was an earthquake between 4.2 and 7.8. Wow. And he doesn't know if...

BubblemanIf there was eight of them and everything else was aftershock, but he basically said they all counted 24, what they would call earthquake.

SpeakerI can't even imagine what that's like, man. That's horrible.

BubblemanYeah, I've heard as well. It started with 900 dead, and I read this morning that it was 2,100, and it's just terrible to happen in such a... In such a spiritual country with such a kind and happy people, they just got devastated yesterday. And all the monuments, they have spiritual monuments all over the country that got destroyed. Pretty harsh. We'll have a moment of silence for our Nepali.

SpeakerYeah, is there any donations to help the people out there in Nepal? Any way that, you know, some sort of relief or whatever that we can offer?

BubblemanWell, I could probably get in touch with my manufacturer and maybe figure something out for them and use Hash Church as a means to set up a little thing where you can send a donation or whatever. That would definitely be a good thing because, you know, Nepal is definitely already without this devastation that's considered one of the poorer countries in the world. A good percentage of the people in the country don't even use money at all.

BubblemanSo they're going to need some help for sure.

BubblemanNamaste is right, or as I learned in India back on the Mahakubamela in 1998 on the banks of the Ganges River smoking ganja with the Pashupati Baba in Rajasthan, Divite Baba. He said, let me see if I can remember this.

BubblemanDefinitely Om Namah Shivaya. There was a whole other part, if I can remember or not. It was an awesome little prayer that he would say every time he lit the chillum. It ended in Mahadev. You can see on the back of cabs all over the world, which is sort of their version of like, Amen. Mahadev. I'll have to remember that little prayer. I don't speak Hindi, so it's particularly hard to remember.

SpeakerYou know, it's pretty crazy that Nepal had this earthquake because there's a volcano erupting in Peru.

SpeakerYou know, so it's like there's events going on in different places in the world that are causing it.

BubblemanWell, you know the big rock between my house and Whistler called the Chief in Squamish? I think so. It's a huge, it's like the largest chunk of granite in Canada, maybe in North America. It's called the Chief in Squamish. And a huge chunk of the face just fell off the other day. And all the native tribes are like, that's like a serious fucking sign.

SpeakerWhoa. Yep. Do you see that on the road driving up there? You can.

BubblemanWhen you drive back from Whistler and you're driving towards my house, you can see it on the left. If you've ever seen The Chief, this huge piece of granite and on the one front wall there's this sort of hatch that's whiter than the rest. We call it The Witch because it looks like a witch riding a broom. A huge witch. You can see it from like miles away.

BubblemanAnd so right to the left of the pitch, the whole face of the teeth just fell off. It was like metric tons of rock. Yeah, Mr. Cookie, you can quote, you can, oh no, you knew that. Yeah, granite slab. There you go. Crazy for sure.

BubblemanYeah, some of us have better webcams than others.

SpeakerAre you going to Malaysia where they cut your dreads out, weigh the trim that they find, and then hang it?

BubblemanNo.

BubblemanOh, ATN says nope. Ratio's like, not this guy. Mark's like, I don't know what you're talking about. Ken's definitely, it's not happening for him either. There was always people, if you go to Thailand and spend any amount of time in Thailand, you know, I guess it's three months or something and then your visa runs out and you're like, you have to leave Thailand and so a lot of people are like, I'm just going to take the bus down to Malaysia.

BubblemanOkay, yeah, you do that. And there's always these crazy stories of like, oh, he had weed stuck to the back of his shorts, or he didn't know he had that. It's like, hello, if you smoke herb and hash, you for sure have been at a border where you have had something that you shouldn't have had. So why would you want to put your life on the line for such a thing?

SpeakerMalaysia's nasty. I had a girlfriend that did a whole little tour where she went from Australia and worked her way up. And when she got to Malaysia, they threw her in Malaysian prison for three days because her passport was bent on the corner, so they were verifying that it was authentic.

BubblemanJesus.

SpeakerYeah, for a bent passport. I was like, damn, girl, you're in Malaysian jail? I don't think I want that in my book. She said it's terrifying.

BubblemanYeah, it is completely terrifying. I mean, borders are already terrifying. It's potentially like something you can lose your freedom or your life. That's a whole step up from whatever, getting arrested and getting a felony charge or something.

BubblemanEven serving like a long term seems like nothing in comparison to like the death penalty.

SpeakerI can't recommend not traveling safely if you are a hash maker.

BubblemanDefinitely. And by safely, what Ken is talking about is, you know, you can really only smuggle around 10 grams everywhere that you go. And I can tell you on the next Hash Church how you can do that, where you should smuggle it, and how they'll never find it.

TonyOh my God.

BubblemanOh, shit.

BubblemanBe safe. You can always make hash where you're going. That's the way I look at it.

SpeakerExactly, exactly.

BubblemanTravel with bags. You'll be fine. It's like if you build it, they will come. If you have water hash bags, you will find trim or bud or some type of material. And you've always got your hair iron to fall back on nowadays. Exactly.

BubblemanDo you think the High Times Cannabis Cup will have a rosin, where the people who are testing the bud can also squeeze the buds out and get dabs off of them and judge it based on the rosin tech, not just the smoking, but the weighing of the bud, the weighing of the resin, finding out your percentage right there. A judge could find out their percentage and not have to be told by anyone what it was.

BubblemanBecause they could see what the percentage is right there in their own hands. Seems like a pretty powerful tool to help judge an event.

SpeakerI agree, but I think they should for sure go down that route. As far as like actualizing, they were saying that there's going to be its own category, possibly.

BubblemanEven with hash though, like how would you like to know what percentage of the hash is actually membrane and what percentage is actually profile? I'll take a little bit of it and squeeze it out. Weigh it. What did you get? Oh, I got 83%. This one was 91% return. That's a real solid analytic, real information that it could be judged on rather than someone that was like, I really like the way it made my throat tingle and it expanded my upper... For sure, for sure.

SpeakerWhich is value as well. Yeah, so I'm... I heard they're thinking about making three categories. Dry Sift its own category, Raw's in one category, and then Water Hash, but I don't know. I'd prefer it all one category. Yeah, me too. I don't want to have to compete against a limited amount of people just because of the type of hash that I make.

BubblemanHow about this? What if they did an independent one where you won in your group and then all three of them went up against each other for the final? I mean, High Times is going to do what they do in the end.

SpeakerWell, you know what would be cool? Yeah, if everybody that placed, let's say, for that year could then compete. That would be dope. Yeah, that would be hella cool because that's like a championship. Because it would be like, yeah, you would like get the semifinals, you know, and then you get into the finals and then the championship. That would be cool. The championship. Yeah, that would be super cool because if you think about it, High Times is kind of like a regional tour.

SpeakerThey're all regional competition and then they should let, The people that won in those regionals have the ability to enter the main high times, which would be Jamaica, right? Would be the high times to go to, like the international one.

BubblemanFucking A, dude. Jamaica's going to be unbelievable.

BubblemanI've never been more excited about a cup. And really, I mean, I don't know how big it's going to be. If it's in Negril, the first one,

SpeakerI'm about as excited as I was to go to Legends last year.

BubblemanDude, well, Legends is a vital event.

SpeakerDude, that's going to be so good. I'm so excited. I'll be there. I promise.

BubblemanWe deserve this. We deserve this. I mean, Amsterdam's cold and miserable and expensive. Jamaica's hot, inexpensive, and wicked. I love the food. I love the culture. I love the people. I love Negril. I mean, oh my goodness.

Etienne FontanIt's good.

SpeakerYeah, the vibe at the award ceremony when they announced that High Times was going to be in Jamaica was great, dude. Everybody was excited. It's... Oh, shit. Amsterdam is dope. I've always dreamt about going to Amsterdam and I'm still going to make the effort to fly out there. It's a shame that competing there seems to, you know... Don't get me wrong. ...be Amsterdam future, but...

BubblemanHey, Amsterdam is expected to be cold. A cold time of year to be there. I've gone like 20 years practically in a row and I have to say that this is going to be a nice change to go to Jamaica. And I mean really, it's a time that if a big enough group goes there, I mean I might even have to do a bubble man tour during that time, bring a small group to the cup.

BubblemanYou know, bring them afterwards, because the cup is only four days or something, bring them out afterwards for some actual Jamaican experiences, which, even though it's a small island, like Tony said, it's still a big island in a sense, and if you just want to go to Kingston for a day, like, that's not so easy with this period. Go to Kingston for the day and then go back.

BubblemanThe driving is very crazy, mountainous, like three plus hours to drive. Sometimes four or five actually hours to drive from one spot to the next. Yeah, warm Thanksgiving. Jeff from Aqua Lab Technologies is in the chat room. He says, warm Thanksgiving. Hell yeah. Jeff used to be my distributor down in Spain. Thank you for watching.

BubblemanYeah, Jendo wants to know the history on tie sticks. I was wishing that Rob Clark was here to tell her.

BubblemanAll right, Cuban, have a big melty dab. I missed your last one. They want you on camera dabbing. I'm going to hit Horatio Seven Star.

SpeakerI don't know who's mic on. Word. Well, I'll take another dab on the... I set up the dab melt vid. I had this on the first Hash Church that I came on, but I built a new computer. And ever since then, I could never get my old webcam to work. But I'm dabbing on some Ghost Train Haze.

SpeakerLet me grab a fat chip.

BubblemanWow, this grape fab seems huge now that I've been hitting the little ones. Seems like a giant bomb.

BubblemanNow that's crazy tasty. That's like green vegetable-like.

BubblemanOh, what is it? It's right there. Parsley? Not parsley.

Etienne FontanThat's a church wafer if I ever saw one there. Is that it yet?

SpeakerYeah, I take dabs, man.

Etienne FontanI said that's a church wafer if I ever saw one there.

BubblemanChurch Wafer. Ken's about to dab up, too.

BubblemanCelery, Mark, celery. Celery, celery. Dill. That's the color. I thought that you were looking for a vegetable color. It's dill. It's dill, though, the taste that I have on that seven star that I just get.

SpeakerThere's a dillish terpene flavor there.

MarkOh, okay.

MarkI think that's beta-caryophylline, isn't it?

BubblemanYeah, I think it is a caryophylline. It sure is tasty. Someone says green vegetables doesn't sound appealing when I'm smoking weed. Well, I'll tell you, whatever I just smoked was damn appealing. It did have a dillish, caryophyllinous, terpene taste. I like it. You ready to hit that shit? We got the Cuban cam on.

BubblemanCuban needs an e-mail coil on the courts. All right, Aqualab, would you like to send up one?

SpeakerYeah, this is what they call the XXL banger, the Quave one. It was made for me at Seven Point Studios in Seattle. The XL banger? It's really large. I don't know what size it is. Well, I think they call it the XXL banger. It might be the XL. I don't know. Johannes calls it the XXXL or XXXL, but it's a big-ass banger.

BubblemanThis is a XXL right here compared to a normal one. It can definitely fit my thumb in it.

SpeakerSo I got the same one as Cuban, I believe, the XXL. Yep. Can you put your thumb in that? Dude, it's huge. It's like my thumb does fit inside of it.

BubblemanYeah, exactly. That's the same as this one then. These are all probably the same size.

SpeakerYeah, these are cut at an extreme angle, too. I don't know if you can tell that much.

BubblemanOh, I could, yeah.

SpeakerIt's almost a little silly because I don't take that big a dab to it that much anymore, so I don't really use it that much.

BubblemanYeah, I only pull it out really for sort of special occasions.

TonyUntil it gets silly with you? Yeah.

BubblemanWhen we need to hit more than we need to hit regularly. Yeah.

BubblemanAlright, you guys look like you're getting serious over there.

TonyI'm just trying to keep this...

SpeakerI made some rosin earlier. It's like clear, clear. The rosin? Looks delicious. That's with the new iron. 180...

SpeakerLooks great.

SpeakerThe Bubble Man screen, of course. That was only first press, right? First press. First press. It's going to be like first one now.

Etienne FontanEveryone's like, first press.

SpeakerYeah.

Etienne FontanAnother nice church wafer.

BubblemanChurch wafer. All right, hit that shit like it always does.

Etienne FontanIt looks pretty, bro.

BubblemanDid it like it owes you money and it hasn't been returning your calls and it's like totally ignoring you and it's just like you know that money's gone.

SpeakerI'm going to hit it exactly like that. Make sure you don't break your nail, dude, because that sounds like some rage. That sounds personal.

BubblemanIt's magic. It looks ridiculous, like clear.

TonyEverybody's going to

SpeakerIt's really, really, really, it's really coming down to those little, small little things, you know. It's clear, man.

Etienne FontanWhat variety is that?

SpeakerThat was a big dab, dude. I'm still feeling that shit.

BubblemanDamn, and I think I forgot to push your camera, so I don't even think they got to see it. You have to hit another one, bro.

SpeakerOh, man. I'm going to have to pump the brakes a little bit, dude.

BubblemanOh, Tony, I missed yours, too. Can you hit another one real quick?

SpeakerYep.

BubblemanI'm just joking.

SpeakerYeah, I'll do it, though.

BubblemanI'll do it, though. Oh, you guys are hilarious. Rosin Taco.

SpeakerI did have some other exciting good news. Tell it to us. Well, we got, I think we're one of five of the first to get permitted in Vegas now.

BubblemanOh, congratulations.

SpeakerYeah, and I'm excited because we're actually starting with the lab. I don't know if you saw the plans. I did, yes. You saw the plans? Yeah, so it's exciting because it's all ISO, clean room, Pressurized room, just every room is basically USDA approved. Explain the Vegas system though and why it's so cool. Oh yeah, the reason why I like Vegas is because it's reciprocal. So all medical patients from any state can go to Vegas with their car.

BubblemanThat makes sense for Vegas to want to do it like that.

SpeakerYeah.

BubblemanBecause people come, probably Vegas is one of those states where the most people from out of state come.

SpeakerYeah, but it's just another way, like right now, I only can, like right now, the prana is only in several centers, and it's medical only in Colorado, and only Colorado patients can access it. So that's why we're, you know, pushing for what we're doing in Jamaica, so more access, but... Just allow patience to be able to seek out things a little and access things a little easier, you know.

BubblemanSo I got to speak with Kiddus the other day and he told me, I don't know if you heard this, but it was in the newspaper that when they were planting that plant at UWE, The first plant or whatever, they put this story in the Observer. I guess Kiddus was there and he was kind of feeling a little like choked that these suits were planting this first plant.

BubblemanAnd so he's sitting there and he lit up a spliff and he started blowing it on them. It sort of got picked up as the story in Jamaica, like who's this dude that was blowing smoke on the ministers while they were planting?

SpeakerOh my God.

BubblemanYeah, it's actually been picked up by a story. I talked to him a couple of days ago and he told me the story and just said that it's kind of grown into a thing of its own. I guess it's also why he's excited to do his new song here. I thought that was pretty funny that of all people, Kiddus lights the spliff while they're While they're planting this plant and blow smoke all over them.

BubblemanI thought that was awesome.

SpeakerI think that's pretty funny. Like I said, I wish we were there because I was a little disappointed that they planted a nine-inch plant that was already flowered out.

BubblemanRight.

SpeakerAnd, you know, it's something that I think as a grower... We would take a little more pride in planting a nice vegetable plant and watching it grow. If you do anything about the cannabis plant, you definitely don't want to turn it six weeks into flowering and this big. Right.

BubblemanYeah, no, no. I feel you, dude. I felt the same way that it would have been nice to see a beautiful, huge, giant plant planted, but... Well... We weren't in charge of that. No, we weren't even a part of it, so it's not like... We could still do it on our own.

SpeakerWe did get invited to it, though. We did get invited to it. We both had 420.

BubblemanYeah, yeah. I figured. Well... I thought it was cool that Kiddus was there to represent from the spiritual warrior that he is, the ganja warrior that he is, and yeah, I'm going to have a rip in Kiddus' honor right now while we listen to about a minute of his spiritual warrior song.

SpeakerIt's my life, it's my life, it's my life, and it's your life, it's your life, it's your life.

SpeakerLet's turn, let's turn the tables

SpeakerThank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

SpeakerThank you. Thank you.

SpeakerThank you.

SpeakerSo how about that for some killer lyrics from Kitty's Eyes, Spiritual Warrior, Trotting From Behind, Spiritual Warrior.

BubblemanKiller lyrics. Check it out. Kiddus I. I thought you guys are all spiritual warriors, trotting from behind, doing the good work, hanging out on Hash Church and sharing your information. I've never really done that before, but I thought I had to do it for Kiddus. I had to do it for everyone in Hash Church. Kiddus I. One of the original rockers from the movie The Rockers. Tons of killer music you can check out from Kiddus.

BubblemanAnd, yeah. Wait until you hear his new song. Check out my last video from Jamaica, actually, where he performs his latest song called Donja Baby on stage with the Yard drummers. Super, super killer, powerful song, good lyrics. I enjoyed it, and I loved Mark playing guitar along with it. At first I was like, what the hell is that? That's tricky. It's not like a reverberation because it's different.

BubblemanYeah, dude. Mandolin. Mandolin, dude. Thank you. That was wonderful. Thank you. No, Kittisai did not die or something. I'm promoting his awesomeness because he deserves it. His music is so good. He's a good friend. He's a supporter. He's a ganja warrior. And I just figured I would, you know, it seems like what Hash Church is about, for us to shine a light. On cool things, on things that will lead the people who are listening in a direction of potentially finding something new to enjoy or to better their life.

BubblemanAnd I can guarantee you that particular song was called Spiritual Warrior. It was from Kiedis I. I'm not sure what the name of the album was because he just gave it to me the last time I was there. It might even be unreleased. If you can't find it, I'm sure it will be released sooner than later. Great, great track. I've been using Kiddus on a lot of the Bubble Man videos.

BubblemanThe 420 video has a few of his songs from that same album. Salvation, as well as the Salvation Instrumental. And then I think I put on at least maybe one or two more songs from that particular album. So check it out. Kiddus, aye.

TonySure, ATN.

BubblemanI think we have room in there.

TonyLet's see where I can find the link to Nick.

SpeakerAll right, I'm going to be right back. My dog just woke up. He's a lazy dog. He sleeps like 12 hours. He wants to be let out, so I'm going to pause the cam and I'll be back in like five minutes or so.

BubblemanThat's a good dog owner right there. Respect. He's a good dog owner.

SpeakerYeah, buddy. He's doing the power stretching. Yeah. He's a good dog, man. He's my homie. Awesome. Awesome.

BubblemanEveryone needs a homie. Dogs make great homies. Now, why can't I copy and paste?

SpeakerHmm.

BubblemanI'm trying to send, can you send it to him at 10?

BubblemanThanks man, I can't seem to, I'm on safari, I had to leave Firefox because it was doing the problem of not being able to hear and I figured I would just get out of there. It was also really backing my shit up on Firefox though.

BubblemanCool. Are we all here? Can we hear? Someone talk. That's awesome. Very good. Sunday afternoon. I'll tell you, I did have quite a few people... Another good thing when I think about the Hash Church booth at the Cannabis Cup, I think even more importantly how it would be cool to set up maybe in the Hash Church group, which I believe is private for some reason, I think I did that accidentally, but it could work in our benefit in the sense that people want to help people that come on and tell their stories, and it would be great if we could somehow facilitate Those relationships that happen the same way we did incidentally and accidentally with Samantha when she first told her story and talked about not having access to the right medicine and then sort of in a short period of time there were people private messaging me on Facebook from her neighborhood willing to go out of their way even to help her out.

BubblemanI think it's an important thing if it's going to inspire, if Hash Church is going to inspire people to want to help, that it would probably be in our best interest to facilitate that help.

SpeakerLike patient confessions, basically. How everybody admits how cannabis helps their lives.

BubblemanRight, what happens generally is someone like even Jessica comes on and she tells her story and then people see it and they're like, oh I have to help Jessica, like I just need to offer my help. Like Nick who's in the room right now wanted to help Jessica and he felt like he had a good history and a background to offer whatever help he could. He felt compelled to help her.

BubblemanSo he got in touch with me through private message which works of course but I'm just wondering if there would be A better way to set it up so that instead of just me, that everyone that's involved in Hash Church could potentially be a source for, I don't know, maybe it's the Facebook page. I'm just trying to start a dialogue on creating. I know the inspiration is there.

BubblemanI know a lot of people are watching and generally I think the value in that inspiration is creating change. Creating change, the best way I see is to help people, to allow people to help people and If people can be allowed to be first affected by a story and then second be allowed to help in some, you know, not in a way that's like where you're telling everyone that you're helping someone because that's not really, you're just doing it to tell people you're helping.

BubblemanBut the general honest just wanting to help sort of vibration, I want to be able to facilitate that here in Hash Church and it seems like it would be a wonderful thing if we could do it. So welcome Nick.

NickThanks. Good morning, everybody.

BubblemanIt is a good morning.

NickWho's that? Hello as well.

BubblemanOh, is that your dog? I was like, whose dog is that? Cuban just put his out, so.

BubblemanAll right. A moment of silence, nice and baked. All right. Everyone's in the group. Nick works down at Harborside in California. He has a lot.

MarkI am baked. Yeah, Mark, Nick reached out to me during the week and said something about a patient support group for mothers with Trey's patients and asked me to reach out to Jessica and so I hooked up Nick with Jessica during the week as a result of Tash Church.

BubblemanYes, and he had contacted me originally and I was kind of like, but I don't really know Jessica. I said you should get in touch with Mark because Mark is who approached me in regards to bringing Jessica on. And that's sort of also what inspired me to want to have this sort of place in place where people can get in touch with the right people, you know, at least the people that are on Tash Church.

BubblemanI would hope that all of you would be welcomed to having people contact you and ask you, you know.

MarkYeah, she's listening right now, Mark. She sent me a message. I want to say hello to everybody. I'll tell you. Thank everyone for all the support.

BubblemanWell, you know what I mean? Holy smokes, man. I'm telling you. I showed that story to a lot of people, including my wife and my mother, and I sent it out to all sorts of different family members. It's just such a powerful story, like all around. It's amazing.

SpeakerSo I missed that story last week. Can you guys recap on it for me? I don't have a chance to pull through the end.

BubblemanWell, I mean, in a nutshell, Jessica... Daughter was very young.

MarkNaya.

BubblemanYeah, Naya. Her name's Naya. Received a vaccination and within 24 hours went into a deep fever and from that developed this, you know, I guess extreme form of epilepsy, Dravet syndrome. And for the next many, many years they dealt with it in a nightmarish, hellish manner that you could imagine. We're dealing with a child that sneezes and has hundreds of seizures a day and is non-verbal and ends up in a wheelchair in the whole nine yards to the point where they finally get some help.

BubblemanYou would know the names of the people, Mark?

BubblemanYou know the names of the people that you're on mute right now?

MarkI'm sorry. Sorry about that. Yes, I always mute myself. Yeah, so Jessica's the mom and Naya's the daughter and what happened here is that she had a really terrible seizure early in December and it was the kind of seizure that damn near killed her. I did go to the emergency room and she's on so many Drugs, opiates, barbiturates, steroids. Her bones have been embrittled because the steroids have been messing with the way that her bones have been developed.

MarkSo when she has these very bad, what are called grand mal seizures, she's almost like thrashing. She breaks her bones, and I had to bring her to the emergency room. And so this was the real moment that the mom, Jessica, realized that she needed to do something different. What she was currently on wasn't working, and that's when she tried cannabis oil, and like a switch, it just completely, the way that this girl responded to it was almost miraculous, Jen.

MarkIt was like a switch completely turned off In this girl and her disease went away and she slept through the night for the first night in like almost 10 years and was typically non-verbal and confined to a wheelchair and she woke up giggling, happy, wanting to talk to her sibling and walked across the room and is now like walking up and down stairs. I mean it's amazing.

MarkEven when she's in the middle of a seizure, she can be in the middle of a seizure having like her, and one drop of the oil completely stops it. Completely. In the tracks. Done. Stop.

NickAnd like they were saying, Dravez is one of the more severe forms of epilepsy. These kids have between 100 and 250 to 300 seizures a day. Some of them last... 10, 20 minutes at a time. So to have the number of seizures limited to just a handful is dramatic for these parents.

SpeakerAbsolutely. One of my best friends ended up having her nephew at the age of four. He came down with severe intractable epilepsy. And they had put him through all the medications. They had altered his diet. They were finally at the point of some sort of operation that they were going to do. And that's when I reached out and supplied them with some CBD and THC oil. And yeah, it was like a switch exactly the second they had it.

SpeakerMy friend called me in tears. He was like, he's gone one week seizure-free. He hasn't done that since the first seizure that he had. So that's pretty incredible.

MarkThat just tells you how starved their bodies are for these molecules. The fact that it works so quickly, like to turn off a seizure. Do you know how potent of a molecule that is to be able to administer it orally and have it immediately shut down a seizure? That's not just some local thing happening in their mouth. This is happening systemically throughout the body. It is a real medicine.

MarkThere's no question about it. Ultimate medicine. Dr. There's no way that a plant extract that has that kind of effect should be listed on schedule number one. It's an herb. Anytime you can alleviate any type of illness from an herb versus Prescribed drug made by a drug company. You should be allowed to use the herb over the drug without any interference from the government whatsoever. So that's where Jessica is.

MarkJessica's like, this herb makes my daughter better. That's it. End of story.

SpeakerWell, and I can relate to children with epilepsy. I get migraines, and I had been on every medication that they have for migraines. They even put me on epilepsy meds because they were trying a new drug. It was Topamax. There was two different ones, but they were specifically for epilepsy because they affect your neuropaths in your brain or whatever. I've never been so fucked up in my life.

MarkI've never taken anything, Dr. All those drugs are doing is those drugs are fucking with your natural It's the way that your nerves govern motor activity within your muscles. Of course, it's going to fuck up their body.

MarkYou're bypassing the endocannabinoid system, which is your body's way of maintaining homeostasis. That's one of the reasons why NIA responds so well and so quickly to the cannabinoids is because, again, We're stimulating the body's own defense mechanism. That in and of itself should be an example to show that this is how you cure disease in human beings through the endocannabinoid system, not by dropping some toxic bomb down through your liver, which is what drugs are.

SpeakerI actually had so many horrible side effects with that one epilepsy medication that I ended up losing my jaw. I would be in the middle of a sentence and out of nowhere a 15-minute conversation would just be wiped clear. I couldn't remember who I was talking to, what I was talking about. I can only imagine these poor children, you know. I mean, I was in my early 20s and that was hard on me.

SpeakerBut you give these small children this medication and unless you've actually taken it, you don't really know the harsh effect on them, you know.

MarkNia has an implant, and the implant needed a new battery, and so she had to go last week to the hospital to get her new battery changed, and on the way out, she ended up getting a prescription for 10 milligrams oxycodone. She's a 10-year-old kid, okay? She doesn't need oxycodone. It's ridiculous.

SpeakerThat's awesome.

NickA lot of the other Dravet Syndrome kids are on benzos when they're four, five, six years old. Right. These things get 25, 30-year-old men hooked, and they can't get off of them. Right. It's insane.

SpeakerForce-feeding our children these medicines. Medicines. Yeah. Fucking garbage. Okay.

SpeakerWell, I'm going to have to go back and watch last week's Hash Church because I'd really like to hear her whole story. If she's listening, let her know if there's anything that I can do. She's more than welcome to reach out.

MarkJen, I can hook you up with Jessica. Jessica is such a wonderful human being. The ironic situation is she's actually in pharmacy school working at a pharmacy that has cannabis issues. So I'll be psyched when she's working in a cannabis industry job someday maybe.

SpeakerI've got some really pretty weed I can show everybody.

MarkGo for it, Jen.

SpeakerThis is my favorite one from this crop, actually. The funny thing is, is I didn't think I was going to keep this one because her nugs are a little bit smaller. But you can't see it very well. But I posted pictures of this one, and it is just covered. They are solid as a rock and sticky as can be. She ended up being my absolute favorite. This is a Doctor Who that I popped from a seed.

SpeakerSo yeah, pretty weed for you for Sunday.

BubblemanBeautiful. I'm having technical difficulties sending some trichome photos and macro photos to Javier from Medical Seeds in Barcelona. I've sent him the Dropbox link like three times and he doesn't seem to be getting it. I always hate when things don't work.

BubblemanIt's supposed to be easy. I guess I need a bong room.

NickSo hey, did you guys see the Adam Dunn Show Invitational Awards? How they did the competition that they had? Where they grouped everybody together in brackets and then each strain would go against each other. And then it was a double elimination bracket. Like the way they do in bowling? Yeah, like the The NCAA Tournament or Bowling or something like that, exactly.

BubblemanNice. Not that I watch a lot of bowling, but that's just what came to mind.

BubblemanBowling.

BubblemanYum. Love the deep dish banger. Something about the depth of the dish and the heat that's already in there that they hit just... It's different. All these things are different. They all hit differently. The sapphire hits differently. The silicon carbide hits differently. The titanium, the quartz versus the deep dish banger quartz both hit differently.

MarkYeah, so let me add my two cents about the way that Adam Dunn did it. I think what you can do... I think this may be what Nick is suggesting, is you have a different bracket for each different category, and then it gets down to like the final four, like there'll be the BHO and the non-solvent and the dry sift and the, you know, whatever, all like in a final four competition.

MarkExactly. Right? That's what you're thinking? Yeah. That's kind of cool to think about, yeah.

BubblemanThat's great.

MarkSo many different ways to do that. It's just another way of competing, you know, and it's interesting as people get excited like during the final four of the NCAA tournament here in the States. I mean, I'm not a big proponent of it. I wish they would celebrate academics like they celebrate collegiate athletics, so I'm against the commercialization of college athletics. Entirely, actually. But I think it would be really interesting at the Cup to be able to have these brackets populate during the Cup and then have it accumulated at the awards with the final four would be really fucking cool.

MarkI think. I don't know.

SpeakerYep.

BubblemanIt's definitely another unique way of doing it. There's the There's many different ways to do such things.

BubblemanWow, that last hit was delicious. Rise up to the dome.

SpeakerAll right, guys. Well, I got to bounce. Family Sunday. Thanks for having me, Mark.

BubblemanYeah, dude. Good to see you, man. I'm sure we'll be seeing you sooner than later, maybe next week in Hashchurch.

SpeakerYeah. Jamaica after that or something.

BubblemanWho knows? Yeah. Man, I cannot wait to go to Jamaica.

BubblemanLike I only went six years.

MarkPlease.

MarkWhy wait for the cup to go to Jamaica for Christ's sake? What's that, Mark?

MarkI said, why wait for the cup to go to Jamaica?

BubblemanTrust me, I won't be. That's not until November. I'll end up in Jamaica three more times between now and then. Exactly. That's what I'm saying, right?

Etienne FontanYep.

BubblemanIt's definitely more set up for East Coast and center of country folks can get to Jamaica inexpensively. But West Coast, it's like twice the price. We've got to like fly to there and then fly from there to, no, I have to fly to Toronto, for instance, to go to Jamaica. There's no direct flights from Vancouver.

Etienne FontanYou've got to go Vancouver, Toronto, Toronto, Jamaica.

BubblemanAnd they're both the same flight. They're both like a four-hour plus flight, so it's twice the money.

BubblemanIt's never a bad thing, I guess, if you're doing important work, which I think we are going to be doing in the very near future. I'm sure a lot of people, I can only imagine what's going on worldwide in the cannabis scene, everyone making their plans, everyone organizing and sorting themselves out for their position. It's quite exciting, actually. I'm sure we'll see some... Some good things in the next two to five years come out of all this, particularly the science.

BubblemanI think that's the thing we've been missing the most of.

BubblemanI like the sounds of that.

MarkHey Mark, if you guys have access to the NMR, if you have access to the NMR unit down at UWI, maybe we could make that as part of the testing. For the cup entries down there, you know? Yeah. Again, start incorporating NMR testing at the local facilities wherever the cup is. That'd be very cool.

BubblemanI mean, I know they have two of them down there. I don't know how available they are, but I'm sure that it's not within... I don't think it's outside of reason to at least ask and find out if it's something that they want to... It might be good exposure if we got... You know, got those tests done. Versus the Quanticam.

MarkYeah, it just takes a little bit of money, that's all. Yeah, doesn't everything.

BubblemanYes, exactly.

BubblemanDoesn't everything. My God. I mean, who would have thought clear glass pipes would sell for thousands of dollars?

BubblemanWhich I have to say, I'm still more comfortable than the, you know, fully worked ones that have like a million opals and whatnot on them. Those are beautiful pieces. But man, you really have to be careful who you pull those pieces out around. Like for real. That's a whole other ballgame. Like that's a whole other ballgame. Like a down payment on a house just sitting on a table in like a couple pipes.

BubblemanIt's not the table you want to be kicking.

BubblemanDefinitely not the table you want to pass out on.

MarkAnd turkey bag economics, right?

SpeakerCan you imagine how awkward that conversation would be?

BubblemanIt would be like this. Bro, don't worry. Take the pieces. You owe me $260,000. It's fine. Okay.

SpeakerYeah, that's like a year of slavery. Just put the keys down.

BubblemanI'll take your house and your car, bro. That's a future today.

SpeakerIt's fine.

BubblemanHey, how did your camera flip? Did you flip your shit, Cuban?

SpeakerYeah, I moved it to the side because I noticed that the way I was sitting, it kept blocking me, but I can make it smaller. It's a program called ManyCam.

BubblemanI have mini cam. It just doesn't work. I love to set up my video camera. What kind of cable are you setting up with? HDMI? Mini to large?

SpeakerSo one of them is like the one that you can see the banger is a cheap Amazon microscope. Yeah. And the webcam is like a $40 Logitech. It was the only webcam in town. It's not as good as the dude that has a really nice crisp one. That one's awesome. But LED OneShot left me one at the collective where I do all my drops at, so I should have an even better webcam next Hash Church.

SpeakerI'm looking forward to it.

BubblemanNice.

SpeakerBut yeah, I'm big, bro. I'm so fucking high. A lot of drops. I think I've smoked about, I don't know, four grams in the past three hours and a half. That's respectable. Quite a bit. Actually, that's... See you guys soon, because I have not been able to get high since I got back from the cup. Why? Hey, come see me. You know, my lady would be excited, and she whips it up pretty good.

SpeakerThat's a cannabis cup problem right there. As soon as I get my stuff done, I'll bring up some of my hash for trade. No, I do not flip pieces. No. Yeah, you want to flip your ship?

BubblemanYeah, sure. I don't know what people are thinking about that. I talked a little bit about that on one of my Puff Wednesdays last week with these two dudes that brought up a bunch of heady glass. We were talking about stacking and flipping.

BubblemanSeems like a strange thing to do. Maybe I don't understand the culture.

SpeakerYeah, I'm just not okay with that. I had a friend that came over and did that. That's the first time I'd ever heard about flipping. And I was like, what the fuck is wrong with you? He scared me to death because I didn't realize what he was doing. And so I thought he almost dropped it. And then he did it again. And I was just like, stop.

SpeakerDon't do that. I don't understand it.

BubblemanI can't wrap my head around it either, Jen. And if that's not stupid enough, then I've seen the guy who stacked all his AK tubes. Like five or six AK tubes, like $200,000 worth of these AK tubes. Unbelievable.

SpeakerWhy do they do that?

BubblemanI don't know. I don't know. I want to know.

SpeakerI don't know. I'll stick to making hash, personally.

BubblemanYeah, I'm telling you, I feel like a motor that's like redlining, ready to go into gear for making hash. Because I'm basically ready to turn mountains of weed into mountains of hash in a quick hurry here.

BubblemanBut I'm waiting for the mountains of weed one day. One day.

BubblemanEveryone needs a mountain of weed.

Etienne FontanEveryone needs a mountain of weed.

SpeakerI'd really like a mountain of weed.

BubblemanHell yeah. I need a mountain.

SpeakerI have a little bit. I'm excited to try some dry sifting now that I've got this crop down.

Etienne FontanAh, very nice.

SpeakerI'll be watching all of your guys' videos to bite your style. Make sure I do the best I can.

BubblemanNo problem. Check out the dry sift quiver. No style bitten. That style's just getting away. It doesn't belong to anyone. Then you can tweak it a little bit and call it Gen Tech. Nice. Yep. 100%. It's yours to do with as you please because honestly it's free information that's just been developed by many different people, shared by many people, and Once you learn the basics, from there you'll...

BubblemanIt's just never been so easy to get 99% blind heads than it is today. It used to be a lot harder. And the static parchment on the DVD case or book or whatever is very helpful. It's really allowed people to step up their game and... Produce the quality that they were maybe not able to produce prior to learning simple concepts.

BubblemanMoza, Bedoza, Hash Church in the house. Hope everyone's puffing tough.

Etienne FontanHey, Bubble Man, question.

BubblemanPlease.

Etienne FontanIf you were left with only one micron on Earth, what micron would you choose?

BubblemanOne micron, eh?

BubblemanOne micron. Well...

BubblemanThat's a tough one. Just one, eh?

Etienne FontanTo make all your hash from, you just have one.

BubblemanJust one screen. Man, I'm a real multi-screen kind of a guy.

Etienne FontanThat's why I'm asking that.

BubblemanYou've just asked me if I'd rather have the wiener or the balls.

Etienne FontanThere you go.

BubblemanI need them both.

BubblemanThat's a tough one. Maybe something between a 70 and a 90. I'd probably be able to get that working for me. But wow, what a pain in the ass it would be. I guess I could rosin too though.

SpeakerDo you have to keep on the 90?

SpeakerEverything on the 90, huh?

BubblemanYeah, so you'd have to get your farmer's grade a better way. Like for instance... We would cheat, and we would steal women's pantyhose, and we would say, well, these are pantyhose, not micron screens. And women's pantyhose are between like 140 to 220 microns, depending on how big the leg is that's been wearing it. And so you put a little bit of herb in there, and you shake that up on a screen in a colder environment, and you've got like a real nice farmer's grade sift that you could clean over a 70 or a 90 real nice.

BubblemanJust saying.

SpeakerYeah, that's a good wave. As long as you have that pantyhose to Keith, then you're good on that 90 for sure. Everyone will start showing up with different pantyhose tech, and I'm like, I got nurse's grade pantyhose. I'm starting with a nurse's grade pantyhose, then I'm going to make a hooker thread, and then I go to additional.

BubblemanListen, it's all about granny tech, bro. Granny tech. We're going to start out with those fishnets.

SpeakerThose are closest to the 220, you know, the big holes. Yeah, but would that be allowed? Fishnet for running OGs. Yeah, the big. That's funny.

BubblemanThis is what we're talking about now.

SpeakerYeah, after three hours of baking. Baking. But yeah, that's a good thought. It's cool to see your thought process on it though. I was thinking like a 120 just to keef it and get like an overall good keef, but as long as you have a way to keef, then you can use a screen to refine.

BubblemanYeah, I mean, shit, it would be ridiculous to refine like herb. Over a 90, like just refine everything down over one screen. But it could be done.

SpeakerThat sounds like it could be done. Yeah. Similar to, I guess, how the tumblers are. Tumblers are one screen and produce, you know, a certain grade. But that wouldn't be fun.

BubblemanNo, it wouldn't be fun. But nobody, we're not talking about fun here. We're just talking about if you have one screen. That was the question. Well, Sean, I I'm so glad that there's more. Did you hear that the cop that was present when Tupac Shakur said his last words after he got shot in the car on the Vegas strip, this cop showed up and I guess he like, Tupac was trying to say something to him because the cop was like, who shot you, who shot you?

BubblemanSo he was like leaning in and Tupac said these last words to him and But he didn't like the last words so we kind of kept it from the public. He didn't want it really like, he didn't want these last words to make Tupac like some, you know, legend or make him some type of outlaw guy. But in the end he became all of these things anyway.

BubblemanSo the cop recently released that when he asked who shot him, when the cop asked Tupac who shot him and he was like literally dying, Tupac said... I think it was just fuck you, but it might have been fuck you pig. I think it's just fuck you. It was just fuck you. That's pretty baller. As it gets. That is gangster, yeah. Dude, holy shit. Okay, so apparently Tupac lived and died this shit right to the fucking end.

BubblemanCrazy. I just saw a meme that's on my computer right now that reminded me of this story. And it's got Tupac and Suge Knight in the car. It's the photo taken right before they drive away and the shooting happens. And it says, all friendships ain't healthy. Know when to get out the car. So that's a pretty crazy meme right there. Know when to get out the car.

BubblemanDamn. Apparently so. I sure hope this works for Javier.

BubblemanI can hear my baby crying in the background. Probably going to have to run Hash Church short here and go help my wife with the child. She's been dealing with him all morning by herself and I've got to be a good dad and go give her some relief. I thank everyone for coming into Hash Church today. It was a pleasure to have you all here, and I do look forward to seeing you all next week on Sunday.

BubblemanHash Church episode 32 will be in session. And yeah, keep doing all the good things you guys do, and we will talk soon. Thanks for watching, guys.
