BubblemanWell welcome everyone. Welcome to Hash Church. Hash Church episode 19. Wow. That means next week is the 20th episode of Hash Church and I'm not even sure that I'm going to be able to have a Hash Church next week. I'm flying out of Jamaica on that very day. I believe I leave fairly early. So depending on how I figure that out, maybe I'll be able to land in Toronto and do a quick Hash Church in the airport.

BubblemanMaybe I'll be able to do a quick Hash Church at the airport in Jamaica. I'm not really sure. Welcome everyone. Welcome to

SpeakerOh, I love doing that.

BubblemanThat's got to be one of my favorite things to do. And I do it every week. Sorry, guys. That was just me being silly. I forget that I have the YouTube chat open. And then I start the live chat. And there's a 10 to 20 second delay. And therefore we get that. You can hear me all week, every week, asking my friends, turn down your YouTube chat.

BubblemanWell, you can see that I do it as well. And I want to welcome Stebar from Tenerife, Canary Islands. We were just chatting in the chat room. There's Paul Robinsons in the chat room as well. And I saw Major Hash and Buds Light here. So there we go. We're starting church. It's very early, much earlier than usual, but It's 7 o'clock in the morning back home in British Columbia, back on the West Coast, where a lot of people that actually come into Hash Church do so on the West Coast.

BubblemanNow, of course, we have people all over from the UK and from all over Europe, Amsterdam, Germany, whatnot, that you guys have seen people on here talking from, so I want to welcome all of you guys as well, which I guess is pretty much a more reasonable hour, isn't it? Like one, one, two in the afternoon for some of you guys. I know I'm three hours outside of my normal Vancouver time, actually a nine hour time difference from Europe to west coast of Canada anyway.

BubblemanSo hopefully, oh, Horatio. Well, welcome, buddy.

StebarWhat's up, man? Just shaking off the cobwebs.

BubblemanDude, I'm telling you, I may be out east, but you know my time is still out west.

StebarIs it, it's... Even when I'm on East Coast time, it's West Coast time, and like I woke up and it's like 6 a.m. and I'm like, oh, let's do this hash church. Oh, what's going on? Oh, I hope he doesn't ask me to wake him.

BubblemanYou know what? I was thinking of setting up my mothership and everything. I have to fly in a couple of hours. So what I'm doing today's session is I'm trippy stickin'. Got some real nice hash in there from D420K.

BubblemanNice light vapor rips in the hotel room that's a non-smoking room. I would probably not get away with the clouds that you're blowing out. But then again, does glycerin set off smoke detectors at all?

StebarI've never done it. I always wondered.

SpeakerMight be a cool video.

StebarWell, you'd have to go back to the Fresh Heady shop and vape it out.

BubblemanYeah, no, exactly. No, I'm down for sure. I've got a friend coming over real quick to drop off some t-shirts for Richie Spice. He's, I guess, the promotional t-shirt, so I'll get to go and take those to Richie later on today in Jamaica. It's kind of exciting to wake up in Toronto in this.

BubblemanAnd soon... Dude, what a just... I don't know. Maybe it's a bad attitude, but that just looks terrible to me out there. Maybe because I grew up in Manitoba. I'll tell you, I feel sorry for the Easter's. Even with a mild winter, the East Coast is cold.

StebarYeah, it's not... What? Go ahead. I was just going to say, it's got that brutal winter, but there's that summer that's just hotter than hot that seems to make everyone come out their clothes in a different way than B.C. when the East Coast is hot in the summer. Yep.

BubblemanWell, it is early. We might have to do a little Facebook post.

BubblemanThere we go. I'll just post a little thing there real quick, a hashtag post.

BubblemanWhat's that?

StebarI didn't see anything. It must have been the chat.

BubblemanI'm just getting things ready here. I sent the chat out to like 15 people, but I suspect it's a quiet one. You know, we only have 24 people watching right now, when generally we have about 200 by now. So we do appreciate you guys that woke up early. It will be a bit of a disappointing hash church in the sense that the people that think it's going to start at the normal time, it'll probably just be ending around then.

BubblemanAnd so we'll see what happens. What is it, 7 a.m. over there, Horatio?

Stebar7 a.m. in five seconds. All right, well, that's cool.

BubblemanWe're doing our thing and chilling out and hitting vape pens.

SpeakerHmm.

BubblemanI got such a piece of hash in here that it like... Yeah, uh-oh is right. If this battery doesn't work, I will absolutely be... Let me just charge it up a bit.

BubblemanWhat's nice with the unit you're using, isn't it?

StebarThe email at the desk or the vape box. You can actually put, yeah, you can put the, I think I tried putting this thing on it the other day and it just, it got real lean heavy. Oh, really?

BubblemanDid Johnny B bring you one of those? Where'd you get that thing?

StebarI met the guy. He had one in his pocket. He's like, do you want one of these? I'm like, that thing Johnny B has? He's like, yeah, I got one in my pocket. I'm like, yeah, I want.

BubblemanNice. Back in Amsterdam, just in time for Hash Church. Holy shit. I hope so, Ramon. I don't know.

BubblemanIt's a quiet Hash Church today. With Bubble Man and Horatio and 35 viewers. You know, I put that link on Facebook and I guess we've got another 10 people in. So welcome everyone from around the world. If you're in the YouTube chat room, go ahead and post where you're talking from. Let us know. We'd love to know. Let's see, hashtags, there we go. So, Juan Valdez says, what's up, Bubble Man?

BubblemanBig Joe says, good morning. Stoner Montreal says, let's get high. 10 a.m. in New York City. 10 a.m. here via Virginia, USA. Do Apex have a website for their pens? I sell Apex pens at bubblebag.com. Aiden Denver, Neil Craigie. Yeah, apex.com as well. Exactly. If you want to go right direct... I use a bunch of pens. I use trippy sticks in certain situations. I use Apex pens in other situations.

BubblemanYes, David, it is a very early Hash Church today. I think we'll find that there are going to be a little bit of disappointed people in the sense that it's hard enough for people to get ready for the regular time Hash Church. I never change the time, so it just kind of went live. Yeah. I think it'll be fine. We're up to 41 people. Let's get ourselves up to 300-400 people and we'll have our regular amount.

BubblemanCome on, guys. Post that shit. Send some private messages out and get your friends in here. We've got important things to discuss. Cannabinoids and whatnot. Before I jump on a flight and head down to Jamaica, which will be nice. Have some nice Jamaican food. Welcome, Mark.

BubblemanOn this Super Bowl Sunday, which I had no idea that it was Super Bowl Sunday. I'm not a big football fan. Mark, just let me know a little earlier.

StebarApparently we compete with football a lot, but we finished just in time for all the men to return to their ogre-isms.

BubblemanYeah, well, we wouldn't want to mess with football. That's like, that could make for an empty church if we put that right on at the same time.

BubblemanAlways have to recheck when I spell Mark with a K, even though that is how it always seems to be spelled. My name's been spelled with a K 10,000 times since I was put on this earth. It's like the sick joke of being French and having your parents name you Mark with a C. Welcome, welcome both of you guys. Just a couple of like-minded individuals. Mark, of course, is a PhD in chemistry and a well-known overall guy who Horatio has been telling me about for a while now that he has just unbelievable conversations and Of course, Horatio is a pretty smart guy himself, and a lot of people are unable to have the conversations that he wants to get into.

BubblemanSo it's always nice to have someone that can go even deeper, which is kind of what Hash Church is all about. We're trying to get deeper.

SpeakerThat's it. That is my specialty.

BubblemanOh, excellent, Mark. That's good. Depth is his specialty. I like that. We need more depth. That's for sure. I'm sure that you've noticed in all of these Facebook conversations a lot of the different, I mean, just for example, the crystallization, the sugaring out or buttering out or whiting out of resin that has seemed to initially come from water presence in the earlier days, but then as we grow out of that, we see that we need to go a little deeper and that it could be a multitude of things.

BubblemanSome have theorized that terpenes are escaping Where the head breaks off from the stock and that those terpenes themselves are volatile and they're breaking the wax membrane down. I've always thought it was moisture in the membrane, but we're all just theorizing and guessing. None of us are testing anything with expensive machinery. None of us really have got to the point where we've got the chemists with the laboratory and the proper machines to actually go into the depths that you speak of.

SpeakerYeah, well, I mean, therein lies a wonderful opportunity, again, to understand the science that underpins all this great work that you guys are doing.

BubblemanYeah, well, it's definitely, it's come to the point, and I think Kay was mentioning it last week, or a couple of weeks ago, where he was saying, you know, it's just going to take us realizing that it's not going to be us, it's going to, you know, we've got it, and then it's like, pass it over to these guys who have, you know, the equipment, And the know-how and the knowledge of actually putting that together and, like you said, getting into that further depth because, you know, with the cannabis community, you get a lot of people, they think an idea is great and then it almost becomes a cognitive dissonance of just, no, no, this is the act of God.

BubblemanThis is what's happening and it's just like, well, you know, I'm not against God but I sure like scientific equipment and I sure enjoy a scientist.

SpeakerI shared this with Horatio yesterday on our long conversation. A very polite way of telling people that they don't know what the fuck you're talking about is you tell them, don't let your misconceptions fool you.

BubblemanYeah, exactly. That's a very well way of putting it, in fact, because there's so many. There's so many misconceptions, and I myself have them. Like, many, many misconceptions. People consider me an expert. I don't consider myself an expert. On anything, and I'm pretty sure my wife could attest, you know. Your wife is always willing to tell the truth to everyone.

StebarShe knows we can't put our pants on straight.

BubblemanOr even find them. Good morning, everybody. Hey, good morning, Johnny B. How are you doing this morning?

SpeakerWell, I'm very well. I got up this morning. I got to come into Haas Church. It said two hours and four minutes. I went and got to go get ready and then I got the link on my phone while I was sitting on the toilet. Now I'm here. I'm excited. It's amazing how much people are loving the hash. I was out at a party last night and just the response, everybody's dabbing and they're like, you can dab hash?

SpeakerI'm like, of course you can dab.

BubblemanI saw Remo posted up a picture of a whack load of oil out on a table somewhere. That must have been at the same event.

SpeakerYeah, I never sat down at the table. It was too low for me. I sat back with D420 and we were with Todd and them and we just had an array of hashes out and explaining to people about the difference of foam out bubbling and basically sending them to the static dry sifting, the dry sift quiver videos that are being done out there right now recently. It's a Some great stuff going on out there, guys.

BubblemanSome great new stuff that Dave Watson and Rob Clark and the boys have been doing for 40 years. Great, great new stuff.

SpeakerYou know what? It's great to see that people are actually taking a better look at all the shatters.

BubblemanI agree. I hear what you're saying completely. But it's true. These guys have been doing this for a long time.

SpeakerA long time. And even when we were on Pop TV there, we had the concentration. You got into the history of hash and stuff like that. Yep. Good morning, Tony.

BubblemanOh my goodness, I can't believe Tony made it in. Is he on his way to the airport? He's on a plane.

SpeakerHello.

BubblemanDude, that's hilarious. That's pretty fun. You're like a... You know you're busy when you're rocking hash church from the car on the way to the airport.

SpeakerHere, I got one for you, Tony.

BubblemanI'm at the airport. That's pretty funny.

BubblemanSo yes, indeed.

SpeakerWhere'd you get that curtain from?

BubblemanWhat's that?

SpeakerThe curtain you have. It's like a backdrop.

BubblemanOh, I'm in a hotel room. I know. This curtain's wild, right? I feel like I'm at like Twin Peaks Firewalk with me or something.

SpeakerThat's funny. Look at Johnny's new haircut. Are you doing work? Oh, yeah. I just know. Hey, Johnny. What's up, dude? What's up? What's up? What's up?

BubblemanA couple of paisanos in the house, eh?

SpeakerYeah, it dumped like four inches here at the Winter Wonderland over here.

BubblemanReally? Where's that?

SpeakerIt went from 60 degrees to four inches.

BubblemanHow's that for airport action? Do the planes get all tripped out with that?

SpeakerWe'll see. My girlfriend's going one direction, I'm going another, so we're both out of here.

BubblemanOh, you guys are both going to the airport right now to leave?

SpeakerYep, see?

BubblemanThat is hilarious. Well, safe travels for both of you, obviously. Hello.

SpeakerHi, thank you.

BubblemanWhere are you heading?

SpeakerHuh?

BubblemanWhere are you guys both heading? I know where you're heading.

SpeakerShe's heading to Washington, D.C.

BubblemanSo what time do you land in Jamaica? Later tonight?

SpeakerLike 4 o'clock, 5 o'clock maybe.

BubblemanOh yeah, so I think you'll be there a little bit.

SpeakerMaybe 7 o'clock?

BubblemanI'm somewhere around there too. I think I'm closer to 7 o'clock. I can't really remember, but I'll know when I get there. That's how I always remember. I think I'm close to when you are. I'm not really sure. Oh, here's a good one. You'll appreciate this one, Tony. I got to the airport yesterday and gave this to my phone. Can you see the cracks?

SpeakerOh, wow.

BubblemanYeah, it was a bummer. It's the third time I've smashed my iPhone in the last couple of months.

SpeakerIs that an iPhone?

BubblemanYeah, it's a 6 Plus.

SpeakerYeah, I've dropped my 5S active Galaxy phone at least 20 times on the floor, face down, on the corner, on the edge. The only thing that happens is it sometimes falls apart, but I've never had a cracked face. Anytime I've ever owned an Apple for whatever reason, I get a cracked face.

BubblemanYou know, I had an Apple 5S that I dropped so many times, but the surface area of this screen is so large that, well, it is destroyed. I'll tell you, you know those things where you're traveling and then all of a sudden you're breaking and you're like, don't think I'm going to get a replacement in Jamaica.

SpeakerYeah, well, as long as you have the denail and the silicon bicarbide thing you were talking about will be good.

BubblemanYeah, no, I of course brought that. I've got the mothership sitting over there, the fab egg, and that's all ready to go. It could potentially be the first fab egg to ever bless Jamaica.

SpeakerYou haven't brought it?

BubblemanNot the egg. I brought the straight fab before.

SpeakerOh, you brought the egg. That's so awesome. Yeah, dude. I wish I could get an egg. Everyone talks about how they can get me an egg. And then I'm like, yeah, I'd love one, but it doesn't ever happen. And I'm willing to pay for one.

BubblemanDon't you worry about it, Tony. You're on many lists. I've got you on about four lists right now for an egg.

SpeakerAll right. Well, I have faith that one day I'll get one.

BubblemanYeah, it'll be sooner than later. So let's get you one before they're 10 grand.

SpeakerYeah. I remember when they were like 1500 to 2000. I was like, that is ridiculous.

BubblemanDude, I remember when Dave bought his first one for 600 and it had like, it had sandblasting work on it. He stole that thing for like 4000 euros. Wow.

SpeakerYeah, a little bit much. Well, I'm going to spend the next 30 minutes or so with my girlfriend until we have to split terminals and then I'll come back on.

BubblemanWell, thanks for coming in, guys. We appreciate it. We'll catch you later, and safe travels to Washington.

SpeakerAll right. I'll see you soon. Take it easy, brother.

BubblemanAll right. Well, we busted out 106 people now in Hash Church. That's good. Get a few peeps. I'll tell you, I'm starting to get a little bit afraid that this pen... There we go. Charge up, baby. Charge up. We need you charged. There we go.

BubblemanSo what's the good word? What's the good word, gentlemen? Johnny B went to the party last night and had a good time. I see D420K was still there. He must be out today.

SpeakerHe's on the road as of right now. He left about two and a half hours ago. So he's probably around Boston Bar right now.

BubblemanJesus Christ. He left at 4.30 in the morning?

SpeakerYeah, he stayed right on the freeway and went to his place last night for some key lime pie and we dabbed up pretty hardcore and I was home by midnight and up for 7 a.m.

BubblemanNice, well I spent the whole day on a plane flying to Toronto and then it was late, an hour late leaving and then when we got here it was an hour plus waiting for our bags and there were all these just little delays that made a four hour flight like seven and a half to eight hours. Thank God I was staying at the airport so I didn't even see anyone last night.

BubblemanI didn't bother really inviting friends down. I just kind of ordered up a little room service and kind of gearing up for this trip to Jamaica. It's another big one.

SpeakerYes.

BubblemanI guess find out what's going on with Cabinet. Find out if we're going to be able to get down there sooner than later because there's a lot of people that have work to do that could be done right in that very beautiful place. Fingers crossed. I say fingers crossed, but the bottom line is it's absolutely happening. It's irreversible. There's no reversing what I think that I don't know what his name was, I posted it the other day, the gentleman from America who was saying that, oh well, you know, there are drug treaties that have been signed, this, that, and the other thing, and it's like, no, I don't think Jamaica's going to do anything that America's not going to do.

BubblemanFuck you. Fuck that douchebag.

SpeakerYeah, who is that douchebag, and what's his problem? I don't know, we should hit him on social media and just fucking bury him. Totally.

BubblemanI'm telling you, I was very surprised to see, like, okay, so look at what's going on in America. There's, how many states have medical cannabis?

SpeakerYeah.

BubblemanAnd then he's going to tell Jamaica, hey, hey, you guys, you signed the drug law, drug treaties, and they're like, yeah, we know, that's why we're changing and amending our laws.

SpeakerWell, Mark, did you see this story? I put it on my Facebook wall about Jeb Bush.

BubblemanYes, I read that off of your Facebook wall yesterday, actually.

SpeakerWhat a fucking hypocrite.

BubblemanOf course, the ultimate hypocrite. I mean, those guys are, I call them the trillionaire hypocrites.

SpeakerYeah, just say no to Bush.

BubblemanI'm telling you, man, and it's scary when you think of how long that family has had their hand. I mean, whoever was controlling the original Bush, they've had their hand in there for so many decades.

StebarWell, imagine, think about how many decades the Bush has had his hand in other presidents. When you realize, wait a minute, yeah, it's like, holy shit, this guy, the whole family's been running other dynasties, and then they're like, wait, let's start up our own.

BubblemanYou know, I read years ago that it was Prescott Bush who middled or bookered the IBM deal to Hitler's Nazi regime and made a ton of fucking money off of the computers that were designed to track the Jews. So talk about a foundation of evil.

StebarThose winnings and just roll it over into oil money.

BubblemanHoly shit. And taking those winnings while other people were facing Nuremberg trials, he was just like, hey, dude, I'm just going to get on the plane with all these fucking doctors that have been experimenting on the Jews for the last fucking multiple years, and we're just going to fly to the U.S. and we'll start Western medicine.

SpeakerI'm going to say they were involved in the pharmaceutical industry on a mass scale, and I can bet you they're involved in the marijuana industry now. Somewhere their ties are deep in this industry.

BubblemanThat was IG Farben. The original Knox War Machine Pharma Company was IG Farben, and they were disbanded, I believe, in the Nuremberg trials. IG Farben was disbanded, and they broke up into Pfizer, Bayer, And I think there was a few smaller companies. It was three big ones, though, like the three giant German pharmaceutical companies all burst out of IG Farben.

SpeakerWell, Bayer's in 1898, they created Osprin, and that's when we started looking at the war on cannabis, in my opinion. But... Yeah, hell yeah. So it all started in the pharmaceutical industry and it was what I always say is a hundred year lie and now look at the way the industry is now. A hundred years later, we're all about cannabis again, alright?

BubblemanOh yeah, IG Farben was originally a merger, sorry. That's how IG Farben, they merged first and then they broke up. So it merged with BASF, Bayer, Host, AGFF, Chemisch Fabrik and Chemisch Fabrik Worm, Weier, Tarmar.

SpeakerWow.

BubblemanSix big companies joining up to become One big fucking evil company. Well, let's hope it does not stay this way with cannabis because now we are in the golden era of cannabis right now. How is it going to happen? What's going to happen? Are these guys going to destroy this or are we going to push through and push them out of their position and make this thing move forward?

SpeakerI think what Kay said there a couple weeks ago that Big Pharma and the scientists, they're ripping this apart. They're taking a closer look at what actually cannabis can do.

BubblemanHow could they not be? I mean, I know they've made it illegal in the class one, but do you not think that they've been working on figuring... I mean, Mark, this might be a good question for you.

SpeakerAll the large pharmaceutical companies have been working on CB1 and CB2 receptors for years. But they've been trying to make molecules that aren't derived from cannabis. So they've been trying to make other more pharmaceutical-like molecules that are going to have favorable pharmacokinetics and delivery specifically to CB1 and CB2 receptors that mediate, as we know, just about every fucking disease you can probably shake a stick at. The problem is that all these companies basically have patented...

SpeakerAll these non-cannabis compounds that are going to have a myriad of side effects just like any other pharmaceuticals where we know that the phytocannabinoids from cannabis have little to no side effects. In fact, side effects that we all very much enjoy.

BubblemanYeah, exactly. The best side effects ever.

SpeakerYes.

SpeakerYeah, it's pretty incredible, I guess.

BubblemanDavid Allen speaking recently, I really kind of got a broader understanding when he called the endocannabinoid system the endocannabinoid signaling system. It finally just sort of clicked in my mind where it's like, okay, so the fuel are cannabinoids for the signaling system. The entire pharmaceutical industry Is trying to create molecules that are not derived from phytocannabinoids but produced on, you know, patentable and created on their own and then they realize that there's these subtle nuances, maybe a depth that they don't quite understand why when you take this particular signaling molecule that your kidneys start to bleed.

SpeakerOr you get renal failure. And they're also really losing out on the so-called entourage effect. You know, I don't like the word entourage. It reminds me of a rapper and a whole bunch of hanger-ons. But I think of it as just there's some kind of chemical synergy between the different cannabinoids and the ratios. We know that there's certainly an effect that Some of the sesquiterpenes and monoterpenes have on attenuating the availability of the cannabinoid receptors.

SpeakerAnd so by pharmaceutical companies and even GW targeting single molecules, they're completely missing Mishulam's message, which it's not just one molecule, it's the collection of all the molecules. Right. Of course, profile. Yes.

BubblemanAbsolutely. You know this is the profile. It's interesting to see because, I mean, we've been doing it. I guess it's the dichotomy of science, right? Because you get science and we're like, oh, this is broccoli. Well, let's take it all apart and figure it out and, like, you know, remove each component and then all of a sudden you get tocopherol and you get people, hey, let's take tocopherol pills because it's the good thing in broccoli.

SpeakerAnd it's like, wow, I'm pretty sure there's like a synergy going on with the tocopherol and with all the other stuff that's in the broccoli. Exactly. Bingo.

SpeakerThat's not only scientifically been validated, but I think what you're finding, I mean, you can take, Horatio, we touched on this gently yesterday, if you do subcutaneous injections of limonene into rats, you can cause tumors. Limonene has been shown to basically cause tumors, but you're directly injecting it in the rats. You're not vaping it. I mean, it's just Yeah, you can't take any one of these molecules by themselves and understand the properties of a mixture based on the individual components because there's synergies that, again, we just don't have the pharmacological understanding on exactly how they all work in the human body.

StebarWell, it's one of the things I found exciting is when you looked at, like you talked about that injection in rats, and then I looked further into it, and the more pure the limonene, the less that effect shows up, so it turned out it's It's a subtle contaminant that has a synergistic massive effect that ends up not being limonene at all. That is actually what's causing the tumor in the male rats because when they purified limonene to 99%, they couldn't produce the same tumors.

SpeakerThat's exactly right. So what they were using was tainted limonene that was sitting around. And as you know, Horatio, being the expert in this industry with this wonderful material, that it is prone to hydroperoxidation. And hydroperoxidation, it's kind of like if you left a bottle of olive oil out on the counter and left it open so air can get in there and light can get in there, you're going to start generating free radicals that are going to start decomposing that olive oil.

SpeakerAnd the same thing with limonene and a lot of compounds that are found in natural products, including cannabis.

BubblemanSo, could that be part of the whiting out process, I wonder? Like, you know, you see people saying, oh, it's no big deal if the hash has acquired a little bit of moisture, it seems to be losing its form, and it seems to be... I mean, the younger people, they don't really understand. They're like, well, why is it bad? Why is that bad? It takes getting to the older guys who have been doing this for 30, 40 years, like Rob and Sam, and then they're like...

BubblemanThey're just like... They know. They know the way it feels in the throat. I just recognize... It's like they're a tuned gas chromatograph or something. They literally know there's something there that's not proper. I wonder if some of these free radicals could be producing in there.

SpeakerIt could be. You know, Mark, I would love to be able to investigate that in a laboratory setting and be able to answer that question. Yeah. Talk to me.

BubblemanI would love to build a laboratory in Jamaica and have you do that work.

SpeakerMy passport's ready, man. Nice!

BubblemanJeez, come on, Jamaica! Man, Jamaica, and for those of you that are wondering why we continually go back to Jamaica, it is because from what Jamaica has released in the media, which has been fairly minimal, the amount of things that they're willing to do in their new licensing and the way they've written it up is second to none. Literally, it's like they've looked at all the other countries that are doing this Learned from their mistakes and written it up in a way where they're literally going, if it passes, it seems as though they're going to be able to do all sorts of amazing work, including animal and human trials.

BubblemanAnd this is exciting.

SpeakerWow. Good job, guys. Slowly, surely.

StebarWhat was that? I was going to say, you can see why the U.S. has such a knee-jerk reaction because such a small island can catapult itself into the first world with this one shift. They can move in so many aspects, brings the world to them, that really they realize Jamaica is about to legislate themselves into the first world. And that's the scariest thing, that they're like, well, wait a second, no, we'll give you something when we want, but what you're saying is basically you don't need us, and any country could work with you and fund you now.

BubblemanYes. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, no, it's exciting times, man, I'll tell you, it's... Each time I go back to feel the excitement on the island, you have to understand that for people that have never been to Jamaica, it's an incredible island. It's got a really lively people and culture, amazing food and music. And two of the things on that island, obviously big thanks to Bob Marley, That have been popularized beyond belief has been cannabis-Ganja use, and not just with young people or elderly Rastafarian culture people, but literally elderly women and women have known for decades in Jamaica that Ganja tea can release all sorts of different pains, including menstrual pains.

BubblemanThey don't brag about it or openly talk about it like it's a big thing, but if you ask Even ones that have grown up, you know, the good Christian and they work in the job and they're not into ganja or any of that scene, they'll still tell you that they can remember when they were younger their mom or their grandmother or their sister using ganja in that form, ganja tea.

BubblemanAnd then of course, you know, then they'd go outside and yell at the boys on the front stoop for smoking ganja. Hey, you shouldn't be smoking that ganja, man. So there was a little bit of hypocrisy there that they knew the value.

BubblemanWell, when you got wicked pain and then you take something and then it goes away, it's a fairly, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to understand.

BubblemanSomeone chiming in? I thought I heard someone go, well.

SpeakerThat was actually me with my Facebook open. I apologize. I was sending a message.

BubblemanNo worries, just mute yourself out when you're not talking. Johnny B, Johnny B, with his Sea Shepherd shirt. Oh man, I'll tell you, a little bit early for Hash Church today, but I'm glad we're getting it done.

SpeakerSea Shepherd had a conversation last night. Oh yeah? Yeah, it was a little controversy. He says, well, he's fighting for something, for people who can't fight for themselves, and he's representing... Well, we appreciate it. And say hi to Sarah and Andrew there in the chat room there.

BubblemanSaying hi to Martoon Music and the Token Panda and Permanently High and Joe Plummer and all the people. Someone says, John, you need your beard back. I don't remember John ever having a beard.

SpeakerI did for the month of November. Then I jumped on a plane to Amsterdam and shaved it off.

BubblemanYeah, I was gone for the month of November. That's right, too. I was in Jamaica. And then I was in Amsterdam for probably a week before I even saw you there.

SpeakerYes. It was a crazy month. Went to a concert, jumped on a plane, went to Amsterdam. Had a fabulous time with my brothers over there.

BubblemanFabulous time.

SpeakerFabulous time.

BubblemanOh, this pen. It keeps, like, wanting to charge, but then it doesn't charge. I'm sorry. And it's...

BubblemanIt's no big deal. It's just... You know, he sent me three recently, and all three of them are dead. And I used them probably like a dozen times each.

BubblemanWhat you gonna do? That's why I should have brought my Apex pen, but the damn Apex pen is so worrisome. It blows out such clouds, it will set off a fire alarm.

BubblemanYeah, seriously. I told Bird that. I was like, damn, dude, that Apex pen is not airport friendly. Like, certain venues where the Apex pen, I just don't use it, and I pull out the Trippie. The Trippie gives a lighter hit and easier dissipation, and I just am less likely to get spoken to or in any troubles.

BubblemanIt's interesting.

StebarYou can always see those people with the vapor leaking out the back of their hoodie.

SpeakerI got a great trick for the plane. Bring an inflatable pillow inside the plane and just exhale inside your inflatable pillow and it works wonderful. I like that. That's one of those morning jams at Hash Church. Make sure you bring an inflatable pillow for when you walk in. Yeah, you can bring a couple with you, you know, blow them up for friends. I mean, I can get away with about two or three, you know, I've got so many injuries.

SpeakerAnd as the plane flies, as I get up and use the bathroom, I have to inflate my pillow, you know, and I come back to lean on it. I love it! Okay, make sure you get a pillow.

BubblemanYeah, I was just blowing mine into my hoodie. I was doing the old... I knew I got too much.

SpeakerHere's me and Mark beside each other on the plane.

BubblemanDude, I don't think we've been beside each other on the plane since you told the security guard to fuck off.

SpeakerNo, no, like last year, right? So...

BubblemanThat was my last plane experience with John when all the police got called and we were like maybe not getting on the plane and maybe being put on a no-fly list. I was like, ooh. Do you remember what I said to you when we left? I was like, John, this may be our last flight together.

SpeakerI'm like, okay.

BubblemanMy ability to fly is super important and... One you won't ever fuck around with is losing that ability. Oh, man, would that suck. All of a sudden you're taking both.

SpeakerI get to go to the medical section now, apparently. That's what they told me to go to the other side because... Well, you could have gone any time, John.

BubblemanYou just didn't. You just weren't doing that. Of course, you've been able to go through that special side since your accident, bro.

SpeakerI know. Now I know. So now I'll just use the special side. This way we might be able to fly together again one day.

BubblemanYeah, I wouldn't count my breath on it, dude. I'm telling you, like, the feeling I had in the airport when the security and the police and all those people were there, and it was like, I was just like, oh, if I get out of this situation and I can still fly, I'm flying solo.

SpeakerTake one for me. Take a doubler.

SpeakerI've got two different types of SIFs. That way I know I'm actually doing a double one-up. One for you, one for me.

BubblemanI brought a bunch of SIFs to give to my Toronto brothers. I've got three containers here, and I'm giving one to my bro who's on his way right now, and my other buddy Elliot is going to get one, and I might leave one for Allison.

SpeakerNice.

BubblemanWe'll see what happens. It's good to share hash, right?

SpeakerHere's your bottom of hash, my friend. Give thanks.

BubblemanGive thanks.

SpeakerOnly good when shared. Only good when shared.

BubblemanYeah, that's for sure, dude. People are always, oh, you're so generous with your hash. I'm just like, I don't think so. I think it's just the rule of thumb. You're not supposed to be not generous with hash. It seems to go against the grain. Okay.

SpeakerIt's good mojo, Mark. It's got stuff going on in the universe that's going to come back at you, buddy.

BubblemanYeah, and you know what? Even more importantly, come back at someone else. Sometimes it's okay to put good energy out there and have it come back to someone else. Everyone that thinks karma works by you do something bad and then bad shit happens to you. I wish it worked like that. But when you put bad shit into the world, what happens is something bad happens to someone else.

SpeakerYeah. Yeah, so Paul McCartney's famous lyric of what? And in the end, it's the love you make, not the love you take. I always think it's the love you send. Not the love you take, it's the love you send. That's the magic.

BubblemanYeah, I agree with that 100%. And I think that anyone that's ever taken a psychedelic would potentially have to agree.

SpeakerLike he used to always say, I love giving away the best hash in the world. I go around and just show people, hey, you've got to try this out, check this out, check this out. It just helps you so much.

BubblemanI don't believe that you, a chemist, has an interest in psychedelics. I'm kidding. Okay.

SpeakerYeah. Oh, my gosh. Where do I begin? I started seeing The Grateful Dead three days before I started high school, okay, at the age of 14. Oh, give me the year.

BubblemanI got to have the year.

SpeakerIn the year 1977.

BubblemanOh, my God. He kicks one of the worst years ever out. Oh, my God.

Speaker71. I went to English Town three days before I started high school not knowing what was going to happen and Yeah, it was definitely high school.

BubblemanYeah, that's heavy duty, man. For all of you that don't listen to the Grateful Dead, from my perspective, 71, 73, and 77 are unbelievable years for the band and the way they sounded and how tight they were and just everything. I can't believe it was 1977 when you saw your Grateful Dead show. That's fucking awesome.

SpeakerYeah, I mean, it was, yeah, yeah. What a long, strange trip indeed.

BubblemanI don't have much ink, but the one ink that I do have is Grateful Dead related.

SpeakerWell, Mark, just to digress for a moment, what do you think about this whole reunion in Chicago?

BubblemanYou know, I'm pretty interested and excited about it. I don't think I'll be able to make it, unfortunately. I think that, you know... The guys are getting old and they've been doing so many projects for so long and I've heard people go, oh, you know, there's already Rat Dog this and other one and it's like, yeah, Phil and Friends was probably, in my opinion, by far the greatest thing that came to the dead after Jerry passed away.

BubblemanPhil and Friends was amazing and the Phil and Friends shows that set the bar were the 14th, 15th, and 16th at the Warfield Theater with Craig and with Mike.

SpeakerThose shows were nuts, bro. You mean Paige and Trey, right? Maybe it was Paige and Trey. I thought Mike was in there, though. Paige and Trey came out and did those Phil and Friends shows in 99, which, yeah. Yes. Kimmock and Trey, yeah, it was really very good.

BubblemanYeah, those were amazing shows. I guess I thought Mike because Mike ended up with Phil anyway not too long after.

SpeakerYeah, sitting in during another run of Phil and Friends. That's right. That's right.

BubblemanSo it'll be interesting, you know, one of the things Trey said years ago, we should welcome Samantha to the room. Welcome, Samantha. We're just talking Grateful Dead and fish and music right now. It's a cool, chill hash church.

StebarHello. Welcome.

SpeakerHey, music's always been my favorite part of church.

BubblemanYes. Yes, absolutely. I agree. I do agree. So good. So yeah, what I was going to say was that Trey years ago had said that he had stopped listening to Jerry because people started hearing it in his guitar playing. This was way, way, way back in the day. I don't know if it was pre-Fish or early Fish. So he actually stopped listening to Jerry because he was trying to emulate him too much.

BubblemanAnd I can only imagine now, full circle, he's probably sitting... At the farm somewhere, just literally listening to Jerry over and over and over again. Someone's at my door. I'll be right there. Got this, Horatio? Talk about something interesting, brother.

StebarAll right, so Mark... Many people always kind of wonder, like, where does the first semblance of lemony extractions come from? And I always thought they came from the airwood form. So when people were using it in that respect, was it really... I don't really get it. How were they removing it? What was the final product? It's not like they were trying to produce a shatter, so it's not something we're familiar with, but what was the point of using limonene?

StebarWhat were they using and then switched why limonene started to look like a solution for, I think it was DMT production?

SpeakerYeah. I really don't know too much about that, Horatio. I... Again, that paper I forwarded to you, which is again an excellent background reference, describes some of the industrial uses and certainly I always found it really interesting that that branded product line of orange cleaner, you know, remember the orange cleaner where they put a little bit of limonene in there just enough to make it smell like orange peels?

SpeakerThe reason why those things are so good as cleaners has nothing to do with the fact that limonene's in there. It has to do with the fact that you need a whole lot of surfactant molecules, which are basically soaps, to keep it in a water solution. So of course they're cleaners.

StebarWell, they pretty much found a way to thin skin it and get a shit ton done, which kind of, you know, just goes back to illustrating its power. And that's kind of why I never knew, like, I remember when I read those forms, I was like, what the hell are they using lead paint for? And some people liked it, some people didn't like it. But it's, I guess, in that context, Thank you for joining us.

SpeakerWell, again, maybe, you know, that point that we were addressing earlier, which is that it's really the degradation, oxidative degradation products that are in limonene that are responsible for any promotion of tumors in mice or whatever. And, you know, it kind of reminds me of, you know, I understand the message of Rick Simpson Oil, but using naphtha Which is basically a dog's breakfast of crap, whatever the refinery spits out today.

SpeakerThere's known cancer-causing compounds in there. And so, yeah, maybe the sense was that it's not the best from a human safety point of view.

StebarNo, when that was the, it was the, those DMT forms were the only place where you're getting the first list of these are non-polar, these are polar. It just, for some reason, we didn't Google them in the same way, and when I saw them, like, I saw NAPFA and I'm like, yeah, I know that guy. That's from Rick Simpson. And then I'm like, well, what's laminate? And I look it up and I'm like, well, then why the hell would he use NAPFA?

StebarLike, are you crazy? No matter what is wrong with this stuff, if I'm taking it orally, it's going to be minute. I'm not a rat. It's got to be worth a try to at least produce... Like that, I see when people do Rick Simpson oil, it really is butcher science. It is always done in a butchery place and it's always served on a pin. And there seem, I'm like, well, I don't see why they needed to work with high flammables, off-gassing flammables.

StebarIt's an opportunity for everyone to at least work with something food grade. The food grade product is, as long as you don't leave it out, basically respect what the label told you to do. And you can even use a food dehydrator to reduce it down to a volume that's about 10%, which it's not what I'd like to use, but compared to getting 10% naphtha or 10% iso left over in a product, it's the safest butcher science I can think of for everybody, really.

SpeakerThat's kind of why I approached it. I totally agree. Everything you just said is absolutely spot-on accurate based on the chemistry that underpins it. You bet.

StebarSo, John, what's going down in the first steps of your next use of your light? I know you got your finish down, and are you going to be using it in which way in your breeding project, like holding mothers and veggies or putting it back in a flower use?

SpeakerOne thing I like about that LED and the videos coming out, definitely Mark will be taking a better look at the resin when he gets back. I mean, it is killer, guys. The melt factor. I really have it all saved. I've been doing videos on it all week. So I'll release another one tonight, a side-by-side comparison. It's 100%. You're going to see a difference with the LED.

SpeakerI'm impressed. Right now I know it's working. Right now I'm seeing it. A bigger size of bud, more denser. I'm seeing more dense trichomes. I'm seeing healthier plant growth. I'm seeing something with a full spectrum light that has grown indoors that I've never seen before with a controlled temperature. So that for me right now, the light running in the room by itself on its own thing with no exhaust, controlling it with a little bit of CO2, it's running at 81 degrees, two lights.

SpeakerAnd that's what the fans. So quite happy with that little test. My next test, it's going to be, well, I'm, shit, I'm ripping out all my, I'm done with HPS, HIV balances, really. I'm impressed enough as in being a grower for over 20 some odd years that I am getting rid of my digital, all the old school balances. I'm going LED. And I'm confident that it's going to be able to produce exactly what I'm looking for.

SpeakerIf not, I'm going to be able to get... I'm looking at getting more hash maybe. I don't know. I can't say what I'm getting yield size per weight on gland heads yet. I think that's going to take...

BubblemanWait before you replace all your lights until you know that. Just because it seems like you're jumping the gun a little bit with a scientist... You're literally in the middle of your experiment, so don't make any decisions to go one way or the other yet. Let's just finish the experiment first before you tell everyone to get rid of all their HPS lights and buy LED.

SpeakerThat's my next test. That's what I have to do. I have to do mine. I need to know what I'm doing. This is what I'm going to do next, right? I'd say a good, like, three runs. Yeah, that's what any kind of... It's going to take some time, but one thing I am impressed with is It is, right away, I'm impressed with the heat, which is going to save me in cooling, which is going to save me in hydro, and with the hydro and everything going up, really that's a big factor.

SpeakerSorry, that's what it has to be in my life, and in a bigger scale, they're not looking at that, but for me, I'm looking at full spectrum light, I'm looking at cheaper hydro, your plant growing organically, taking to terms.

BubblemanIt'd be interesting to see the money saved in the hydro versus the money spent on the light, because I know those lights are $1,500, which is substantially more than a regular light. So if you were to buy, say, 10 or 15 of those lights for your room, you'd spend $20,000 plus. 100%.

SpeakerThere are places...

SpeakerWhat's that? They are quite expensive, but they do have a five-year lifespan on the bulbs. So that alone, with most people in the growing world that I'm in, most people place their bulbs every second crop. So they're doing it twice a year, replacing bulbs. So that alone, money in bulbs. One thing that we have been looking at is if you turn that LED light on about a 15% angle, the amount of throw on it gives us so much more.

SpeakerSo That will be my test is seeing on the light spectrum and taking a light meter in there and seeing where it stands and being able to see what I can do with it. Horatio knows a lot more about that when it comes to dealing with LEDs. He ripped it apart, of course, like everything. I'm pretty sure he's building his own at home as we speak. Horatio, do you think those diodes will last five years?

StebarWell, I mean, the funny thing is I looked at, you know, where the diodes come from and how they're, what their actual use is in the field and they're built. That's the thing. They're meant for abuse and the thermal abuse of hot, cold, hot, cold, which is something a lot of lights don't typically tolerate well. I have two in the blue spectrum because I looked at, when Tony started talking about, remember that vegetative program, could we just eat five leaves a day?

StebarI thought about it from that standpoint. I'm like, no, nothing is going to beat 500 watts. How much vegetative matter you could get out of a sea of green of leaf material even if you never went into flower, that system alone for vegging and for cloning, that's where you could get the most surface area out of 500 watts I could really see. So that's where it beats it hands down right off the bat.

StebarIt's an automatic winner in veg.

SpeakerI don't know, I saw good growth within the veg. I see a healthier plant. I see a leaf that when Mike was talking about even the density of the leaf and how he could feel it was softer and it was able to let off more moisture when with the HID or HPS the leaves are more stressed out, more thinner, they were hotter. And this is just an observation from me and Mike and being in the room so I mean I can't really Say, is it science?

SpeakerNo. It's me being a grower for 20 years, seeing a difference, being confident in what I'm getting. I'm only looking at it and everybody knows I could care less about plant matter and weight. I can't even tell you what I get per bowl because I really don't weigh it and never really have. But I do know that I have pretty good resin and everybody says it's some of the best that I smoke with.

SpeakerThe LED light, I'm going to sit down with Mark and we're going to Test the resin between the HID, HPS, and LED and see how it smokes. See how it tastes on the nail. Take a look at it. Take 200 grams of dry from the HPS, 200 grams from the LED, crush it over screens, clean it up, test that resin. Is there a difference? That's really what we're looking at.

SpeakerHow will we test it?

BubblemanBy smoking it. Off what? Remember when we smoke off quartz, when we smoke off ceramic, when we smoke off sapphire, silicon carbide, and glass, it's going to taste different each time.

SpeakerAnd that was another thing that we were making mention of there the other day too. Yeah, I mean now there's so many different variables that we're getting into. Right now we know that, for me, I know that it works. I'm confident in how it's producing for me. Is it going to be a difference in taste? I don't think so. I don't see, I mean... Is there a difference between taste with two different lights?

SpeakerWow, I can never see that. Is there better flavor? I have no idea yet. I mean, it's... How it could happen, John?

BubblemanHere's a perfect example. Your HPS is much hotter. It's going to evaporate terpenes off the plant at a higher rate as the LED. So perhaps the LED produces a more... I'm not saying it does. I'm just saying that's right there an example of how two lights could produce a different tasting plant. I can see... Especially... Let's say we each grow up and you smoke one in a joint and I smoke one by extracting the hash, we could have very different experiences and I think it's why it's so complex with cannabis where everyone's kind of looking for the next best thing, but there's so many different things out there that we have access to from, like you said, the lights.

BubblemanAnd then, of course, when we're doing an experiment with a light, then I would suggest that we should have every other variable 100% in control because any of those other variables that get out of control are going to affect the outcome of the project. Welcome, True.

SpeakerOf course, that's where standardization comes so hard in a little grown environment. John Mark, if I can make a suggestion, I think it would be also a great thing to do side-by-side comparison of cannabinoid and terpene profile measured at your favorite analytical lab.

SpeakerI wish I could because that would be exactly where I stand right now. I did side-by-side video macro. I put the buzz together. We looked at them. You can see the difference between the two of the trichology. You can see the difference in the buzz and stuff like that. Now, taking a look at those different ecstasies on that end of the terpene and cannabinoid ratios would play a key, but That's what I'm hoping that the scientists out there are going to do.

SpeakerThat's what we need to do. I can't do it, even when I sure can afford it, if I had a mass spec and an HPLC in my garage.

BubblemanIt's nothing to go to a lab. We have lots of labs in the city, Johnny B. It's easy to just take a sample.

SpeakerYeah, I mean, I think that that would, as I understand it, I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, the energy consumption of an LED versus conventional lighting as well as thermal management This can totally change the economics of indoor grow, period. In an extremely substantial way that I'm not sure that there's anything that can be quite like that.

BubblemanNo, I agree. It's worth checking out and why not at the point of... When the light is 1500 bucks and you've dropped 20 to 30 grand into your grow room, what's a couple hundred dollars to the analytical lab so you actually know what you're talking about?

SpeakerI am going to and have to find that. I have 12 jars right now. I'm waiting to have it. Thank you so much for joining us today.

SpeakerJohn can be published in the peer-reviewed scientific literature.

BubblemanYeah, this was originally when I got my LED light, my first one, before John and I got this second one. I was given a light from Lush, an XL Dominator, and this exactly was my plan. My plan was to Grow plants under the LED, grow plants between the LED and the HPS, and grow plants under the HPS, and do a test of the HPS, the LED, and in between with the two lights shining on it, and then extract all the resin and go through what amounts I got of each micron, and then obviously just bioassay, but it could potentially as well be tested at a lab.

BubblemanI don't know if you suggest this, Mark, but I've always suggested when people get things tested at an analytical lab, To redundant, to do it twice.

SpeakerWell, that's exactly why I took the liberty of inviting Brad to church this morning as a panelist. Brad, do you have some data that you can share with our friends here at church? Good morning, Brad. Good morning, Brad. Yes, welcome.

BubblemanOh, he's just working his mic. He's got mic problems. We'll get it going. Yeah, this happens to Dr. David Allen every time he comes in.

SpeakerWell, this is awesome because, I mean, I'm just using the bulb. I don't know too much about it. As in, it's doing what I'm looking for and it's producing what I'm after. And that is the trichomes. I'm not looking at this big mass weight. But comparable side by side, when I hold the meditator beside the two buds, you can see that the LED bud is bigger, which is fun.

SpeakerThe diodes, the diodes. There's no bulb in it. There's one thing that you'll see is the difference in the color between the LED and the HPS, where the HPS one is more stressed, more yellow, where the LED, the plants are more purple, they've got more color in it and stuff like that, so it's going to definitely have a better terpene profile, just by what I mean as an experienced grower over the years, I can see what I'm getting from the LED light.

SpeakerI mean, that's what I'm saying, I'm not a scientist, I'm just, we've been doing this a long time, so I can see that. So... I'm really... Hopefully Brad's got his mic working right now.

BubblemanIf Brad can't figure out his mic, he can go to the top left of this box and hit the chat icon and he can... Oh, there, he's already doing it. Yes, HPS is only 18% of the energy of the sun. This is what the light guy that we both met, John, in Squamish, this is what his whole trip was. He was going on about the power of the LED diodes and how it had a closer...

BubblemanWe smoked it yesterday, me and Darren, and he's just like, dude. Yes, I can hear you now, but you have to turn up your volume. It's way, way down.

BubblemanYou might be able to go into your mic volume. It's settings button on the top of this box. I don't know if they'll give you a volume.

SpeakerMy comparison was with the 600 watt HPS solo text. Is it louder now? Yeah. It's perfect now. Welcome to church.

SpeakerThank you.

SpeakerI guess where do we want to start about spectral energy versus wattage?

BubblemanWell, let's start at the layman's. We've got hundreds of people watching and we don't know what level everyone is at, so let's just go start real basic. What are the differences?

SpeakerWell, let's just draw back the last 20 years. Of growing in the hydro hobby hydroponic market with HPS. When Pulse Metal Highlight was first introduced, that was the sole source of artificial light to grow that had HID intensity behind it versus like induction, fluorescent, or most LEDs that are like growing through cloud covers on a cloudy day. They'll work, but you need to get it much closer to have the photon energy do something at the level that the canopy can enjoy instead of baking it.

SpeakerAnd with LEDs for the last 15 years, we've watched them come out at half the wattage of HID and still not get it done. Then they went up to pretty much the full wattage of HID, still didn't get it done. Now they're back in the wattage back down and they're starting to introduce other spectral energies that the human eye can't see that everything on earth has evolved to for a thousand years.

SpeakerSo going by lowering the HPS waters completely down and introducing more full spectrum colors, your plants will then produce more terpenes right off the bat because it's naturally being stressed by higher UVs.

BubblemanAnd have we been able to measure the increased terpene production?

SpeakerJust from the oil guys that we have locally here in Colorado playing around, we've They've noticed anywhere between 3-8% gains versus a 600 versus like a single stage ceramic metal halide lamp.

BubblemanThat's pretty substantial.

SpeakerThat is. It is. We've, here in Colorado, we've got a lot of dispensaries and rec that are dropping thousand watt lamps out of the ceiling and going with 315 single jacketed lamps. For a simple fact, a single jacket doesn't disturb the photon stacking As multiple layers of glass does.

BubblemanSo explain a little bit more of that because that sounded really interesting.

SpeakerWell, human eyesight, well let's go back to this really quick. Most lighting engineers that build light for human eyesight only build it for human eyesight. And then the hobby hydroponic industry likes to cherry pick those specs out And then don't give you the full picture of what's really going on with light.

SpeakerSo by doing that, they always make their specs look better, but ultimately in the end it's the plant that tells you the truth. No human spec in the world can tell you what a quantitative plant is capable of doing. And a plant's metropolis has so many living entities within it, To think that only 18% of spectral energy can grow a plant healthy to the end is just a human mistake.

SpeakerAnd that's why the plant was finishing quicker, what I saw with the LED, when in the beginning it looked like it was going to take longer, I figured it was going to go longer, I stayed at it, it looks like the LED is going to take a couple weeks longer, and in reality it started finishing sooner, I started seeing a better development in early days. And that's one thing that I was commenting on in this drill, right, so.

SpeakerI mean, it was like the full spectrum caught up to what the LED or the HID cannot do because of that, what you were just saying, in the end, it can't produce. Correct. It can't. And most nutrient companies have chelated the hell out of the nutrients to work at 18% spectral energy. If you take those same nutrients outside the full sun, you burn the hell out of your plants.

SpeakerAnd then they say, well, you've got to reduce it down. Well, that's the chelation that they put in to make it work with 18% of spectral energy. And then, over 20 years, they realized that 18% of spectral energy is a fungicide bulb and it kills bacteria. So what do they tell you to do? Let's load up more nutrients and more bottles to help offset the 72-hour lifespan underneath HPS all by itself.

SpeakerMakes sense to me a lot. I'm going to take a quick dab, guys. Give me a second.

BubblemanThanks for that information, Brad. That's kind of what we're looking for here on Hash Church. We really want to get more in-depth knowledge and information about things. I mean, I love what John was talking about, but he was more talking about exactly what you're saying from more of a layman's, and you just came in and gave us the expert version, and I appreciate both of those perspectives.

SpeakerWhat I'm seeing, and now you're telling me what I'm seeing... Is exactly what I am expecting.

BubblemanAnd explaining it. Not just telling, but explaining why.

SpeakerThat's the key part. That's the key thing. It's really nice to be able to understand that. Now being able to take it to that level and getting that test done is, and it's funny when I'm trimming it up, I even say in the video, I was like, oh my, you can smell the difference between the LED and it just seemed more flavorful. It was just like, I didn't want to touch it because I saw the macros and I was like every time I touch it I was watching these million heads fall off.

SpeakerThey're just so much more profound with the LED.

BubblemanHave you started wearing a onesie yet, John? I noticed you were posting macro photos and I could see the fibers on all the plants.

SpeakerIs that bugging you yet? The room is getting a makeover. People do makeovers on TV. Well, I'm having a grow room makeover right now. Nice.

BubblemanNo, remember we had this conversation. John would always bring me amazing things to photograph. And then I would photograph, but there would be like a crazy fiber on every spot that I took a picture. And I was like, dude, you're wearing like a very like kind of t-shirt hoodie thing and then leaning over all your plants and touching them. So he was going to start wearing, like, put on an outfit before he went into his room.

SpeakerI'm going to wear my DNA Grow Your Own button-up shirt that is all one color down with a set of nice pants now.

BubblemanDude, you can buy them super cheap. All the licensed producers use them. Tilray, for example. This DuPont onesies, and they're really cheap. They're just like gloves and booties and hats, and you wear the onesie, and it doesn't release fibers. So you can lean all over the plants, and you can touch the plants. Only a macro photographer can understand the irk of taking a picture and seeing a nasty, crazy fiber in the middle of the, it looks like a big monster.

BubblemanAnd I see them all the time, even on my own plants I've seen them, so it's certainly not, As we focus on the resin... Macro.

SpeakerMacro heads.

BubblemanMacro heads, yes. I've been specializing in macro photography since 2008. And, wow, I'll tell you, it sure opened my mind to what is present on those buds. People don't realize what's on those buds. You'd be surprised at how much stuff It's just stuck to bugs. Sometimes it's little bugs. That's the worst. I had to tell Dr. Comick, who came to my house about three months ago, and he brought all this beautiful material, and I opened the bag, and I looked at it, and I was like, has this had bugs?

BubblemanAnd he was like, uh, just a little bit. I closed the bag back up and pushed it back across the table. I think another friend actually ended up making all that, turning it into oil, because I just couldn't... Once you look at those little bugs under the macro, it's hard to imagine puffing on them. Or even their little shit.

SpeakerSo Brad, I'm using the Spectral King LED light. Do you know of the new light there? Yeah, I'm actually familiar with the brand new Spectral King. What's your thoughts on it? Go on our Facebook page on Brad Higgins. We actually have our 315 ceramic metal halide hanging next up to the 500 watt, I believe, Spectral King side by side. Our tents were next to each other at the last show.

SpeakerI think the pictures will speak volumes, so I don't have to say much there.

BubblemanOkay.

BubblemanWell, I'm going to check it out.

SpeakerThe biggest thing about most LED... One of the companies that I've noticed is everyone's stuck using the LED technology that was based in the 60s and no one's actually taken a look at American Cobb LED technology that's being developed right in San Francisco by Americans that are actually producing full spectrum energy out of their sun chips and high LED puffers than any other chip that's on the planet right now.

SpeakerAnd we just signed a contract with them to integrate those in conjunction with our ceramic metal halide technology. So we're going to have all the way from 10K spectrum all the way down to a 2K spectrum under 500 watts on a 6x6 footprint. And that's some of the things that we've been working on because I don't believe we should have anything more technically than 400 watts at 36 inches above the canopy.

SpeakerCambridge College, in over 100 years, hasn't proven that HIDs over 400 watts don't shut plants down to only APT operation. And now we've got multiple universities starting to verify this. I was going to say, it's no longer the day of myth and hype. We actually have science, data, and facts coming out. And we're going to start seeing a rush of this starting to hit the waves of the news in the next five years.

BubblemanRemember last time, John, we were sitting with the owner of Solistec, Solistec Ballast, and he was telling us about a light that he was working on. He was adding all these different diodes, a 2K, a 4K, and a... Do you remember that?

SpeakerYes, it was Alvin. That was... Just... That was... Yeah, totally. Oh, yeah.

BubblemanYeah. Because he was also talking about some stacking of these diodes and figuring out ways of, like... I guess, once again now, almost configuring out the profile of light the same way we want to... You know, now do we learn that as we change our light profile that we can manipulate and change the cannabinoid profile? Is it these lights that are producing or manipulating the production of phenols and terpenes in regards to the production of cannabinoids?

BubblemanWho's to know? These are all very interesting topics that I am definitely interested in.

SpeakerWe do know. This is why I recommended that side-by-side study, because to triangulate this, what Brad was saying about the soil chemistry, so we know that the physics that Brad was saying impacts the soil chemistry. The third point of that triangle is what does it do to what's being put into the trichome?

BubblemanAbsolutely. I always want to know, how can we manipulate... Phenol and terpene production inside the gland head. That's how cannabinoids are made and that's something we should all be looking at figuring out how to do.

SpeakerAbsolutely. By stressing the plant the way that it's been stressed for the last 5,000 years naturally.

BubblemanYeah, well stress definitely does produce a good amount of resin, I can attest over the years. If we look at CO2 burners...

SpeakerNot only do they give you too much CO2, but they give you carbon monoxide, and the carbon monoxide starts to kill off the plant leaves. So you're actually poisoning the plant at the same time as introducing way too much CO2.

BubblemanIt's like chemotherapy for plants. It's exactly that.

SpeakerHere's one thing. I do a lot of helping with growers and stuff. We started doing the venting of CO2 at night, and one of the guys who's doing this now consistently is hitting the plant up almost a pound away. When you're talking about the CO2 and poisoning and stuff like that. So there's just certain things that we realize in the grower room and stuff like that, and that's one thing that I always pay attention to is the CO2 levels and stuff like that.

SpeakerYeah, if I do use CO2 in a completely controlled environment with pure oxygen, I only inject it in in line about 450 ppm. I run mine at 700 and in flour I go as high as about 9. Wow. And I know people here run at 12 or 1500 parts. I've been running a sealed room since 2000. I would I remember we used to hit it at $1,800, $2,000 in the end thinking that would just give us tighter buds, but I mean that's just old school methods that we thought were working, but we're just wasting money.

SpeakerExactly. A real important role because Colorado is different because of its elevation. Elevation, of course, right? Right. Yeah, I thought I'd take a look at the elevation too.

BubblemanThose are one of the things I always talk about as well. I mean, mostly in just the drying of hash, because people, when we talk, oh, how do we dry the hash? And it's like, you get a guy from Colorado telling people in the Pacific Northwest how to dry hash. This is not going to fucking work. Nope. It's like, we have humidity. Like 90%. We have 15%.

BubblemanI know.

BubblemanColorado is the spot for drying hash, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying, don't be teaching Colorado hash methods. I have friends who make hash.

SpeakerI don't teach any hash methods.

BubblemanYeah, no, no, I said that before. My friends that do, though, I always tell them, look, just be sure when you're teaching people that you tell them that it's environmental, that who you are is going to affect how you dry your hash. Who's to know if those things will be affected as well in In light and soil and all these other areas.

SpeakerWell, and also just drying nugget, as you know, can certainly affect terpene profile. And when I was living in Colorado in the early 90s, we were getting that paonia bud from the western slope of Colorado, which, again, has grown at very, very high elevation. And I think that there is an impact on elevation and how the plant matures and ultimately the I don't know, does anyone have any experience on that?

StebarLook at the experience of regular plants. There's a reason why we have Tuscan and we have African and we have Austrian. All of those different climatic conditions produce a different stress and we know coffee Thank you for joining us.

StebarThanks for watching.

StebarOn a different time, the sun's coming in at this angle and the spectrum's completely different as it passes through the atmosphere. So that's why Jamaica grows the best weed. Just study its sun and you have yourself a light profile. So what we really need to go around the world is taking readings and soil profiles and looking at the bacteria that performs well with that sun and can tolerate the same environmental stresses and then put the plant in that condition.

StebarIt's easy to find out. Just follow grapes or coffee or anything else of high value and wine.

SpeakerI'd like to go to the forest, you know, down in Brazil. I think that's probably the most diverse biological area in the world per thimble full. And, you know, if you want to really do something, that down there is what you need to mimic. Something that's not been mimicked, touched, or handled by man. And right there is what shows you the best way that we have to go to, just like the sun is for lighting.

SpeakerWe already have our base. We don't have to outthink the sun. We evolve to it. We just have to match it or try the best as mankind to match it and not outthink it. Because the bacteria that's in the flora zone does all the work for us. It does everything. It takes an inorganic compound, you feed it, and makes it into a salt ion which is completely organic to the plant.

StebarWell, one of the things I always looked at is when you look at those rainforest soils, you're looking at a huge carbon sequester sink in the soil under those perpetual layers of mulch. So you're really looking at a living soil that is also off-gassing and intaking, pretty much breathing, its own CO2 and oxygen respirating back up into that plant growing zone. So when we look at CO2, I'm like, no, there's a time of day where CO2 can rise to, Thank you for joining us.

StebarThese natural ebb and flows of living, breathing environment are totally what's going to produce pretty much, you could say, the superior cannabinoid profiles of the pharmaceutical future. It's going to be about growing the most rare, unique, and potent plants versus just having a concentrate of the average plant. You're not going to be able to change those profiles without unique things like light.

SpeakerWell, if you look at how a plant lives on the earth right now, the next time you're out at full sun, maybe summertime, if we watch the sun as it comes up, the sunlight will actually, photons will go through the leaves of all living plants because those photons will change from a positive to a negative ion as it passes through the leaves, the canopy structure, and it hits the soil underneath the plant and that energy starts to feed the flora, which is the bacteria.

SpeakerWhen you give it 18% of energy, which is only HPS, there's bacterias of algae that live inside a colony of bacteria cyano that live inside all plants on earth. They will go into a self-defense mode and darken up the upper canopy as the sun's intensity increases. Those plants will then shut down. The only thing that runs is the bacteria below it. It will start to feed again.

SpeakerAnd then the APT pump starts to pump through the lifeblood of the plant. But the plants physically do not in intense sunlight process any photosynthesis. And there's tons of studies out of universities that show this. They'll physically shut down. And they also have studies now that show under HPS, plants physically shutting down six to eight hours.

SpeakerUnder intense HID HPS, being too close to the canopy. I mean, there's other things that get them up higher. You get the lights up higher, naturally the intensity decreases and they start to come back out of it. But there's special intensity does play probably the biggest major role of all living plants on earth. Because they don't see light like we do. They see, feel, and hear everything at a quantitative level.

SpeakerAnd since a plant is a metropolis... And it has a host of all living bacterias in it and fungus and all these other things. The plant itself is like the building. So we actually have to take care of the entities inside the plant and then the plant itself just naturally grows as the entities grow. And this is the biggest part that's not being taught in the hobby hydro industry.

SpeakerNot at all.

BubblemanBut it's being talked about in Hash Church. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. It's about time, right? Yeah, dude. Thank you for coming. Thanks, Mark, for inviting you in. This is great information. This is the level of information that we want to be sharing on that church.

SpeakerI'm the chemist and he's the physicist. How beautiful. I'm going to try some LEDs for sure. So that was awesome information. It's real good to hear that. So definitely going to be something I'm going to be looking into. So expect some comparisons and side-by-sides from myself in the near future. Terpzilla. Oh, yeah. And one more thing. I'm not a physicist. I'm just a mad scientist. I have a physicist that's teaching me.

SpeakerWell, your passion comes across very well. So it's awesome to hear from you. I first met Brad when I went out with my partner Jason Pinsky out to Champs in Colorado. Champs, it's glass and gadgets and pens. I found Brad and we talked for over three and a half hours. It was the most meaningful dialogue I think I had that entire trip. It was awesome. It was great meeting you then.

BubblemanVery cool. Yeah, I've only been to one Champs myself. Didn't I get my camera stolen? Yeah, I did. I got my $5,000 camera stolen at Champs. But in the end, it was a great event, I have to say. It was Champs, in fact, that we met our Jamaican contacts that we have sorted out this whole Jamaican project with. So you never know who you're going to meet at Champs.

SpeakerNo, you never do. Yeah, Champs was another changing event for us, that's for sure. Well, and Brad's booth had a particular attraction, right? Yes, sir. The hidden back room. The hidden back room with the rig.

BubblemanThat's my booth, except I put it right on the front table.

SpeakerThat was my way to corner guys underneath my 150. We have a highlight system. And dab them out and talk about our light really quick and kick them out the door. That's awesome. And Brad, why don't you tell everyone here at church about that other light manufacturer that we had a little good time with. Oh, yeah. The one that was stalking us there? Yeah, the stalker, yeah.

SpeakerYeah, there's a company back in Ohio. I'm not going to call them out by name, but it's real quick to search them on Google. They were circling our lighting system through the whole champ show. It was just hilarious. Everywhere I go, I got all these other lighting guys snapping pictures on side shots and just doing weird things. I don't know what's up, but I know this. It takes full spectral energy to grow plants.

SpeakerYes, it does.

BubblemanWell, they're just getting ready to jack you is all. I can remember that from, I mean, think of the first water extraction bags that came out after bubble. They were the same colors. They were the same amount of bags. They were the same numbers. And, in fact, most of the bags that have come out since are the same thing. The odd person's number by two microns.

SpeakerIt's funny. When you're the innovators and leaders of a technology, everyone comes at you and attacks, no matter what. Mm-hmm. Yep, it's true. Success has many fathers, failure has few. Correct. And anyone that's, you know, common sense is the base for most science.

BubblemanRight. Which just happens to be the thing most people have zero of.

SpeakerWell, they don't, it's not that they don't have zero of, it's they watch too much TV.

BubblemanWell, that'll do it, right?

SpeakerYeah. Yeah. I call that sheeple.

BubblemanAh, yes, the sheeple. I know it well, the sheeple. A little David Icke quote there. He always calls the people the sheeple. Correct. What an interesting man, not to get into conspiracy theories, but I met him years ago, and wow, that guy's really like a wild fucking dude, man. He is wild. Wow.

SpeakerHe's a tripper.

BubblemanThat's really great information, man. Really nice that you came out and shared some of that with us. I hope we get back on Hash Church to share more information like that because Hash Church is not about me or any of my things that I'm trying to promote. It's really about people like yourselves and Mark and Horatio and Johnny and all the people that come in to share what they know.

BubblemanThat's the key. Just share what you know and put your mic on mute when you don't know and listen because the people who are talking, they know what they're talking about generally in here.

BubblemanI actually got a message from Skunk Man Sam the other day, so he's probably watching this right now. He doesn't really, he's pretty private, he doesn't want to come in right away, but I think that we'll get him in eventually, and I'm telling you, Mark, when you asked the question earlier about the breeding, the information and the knowledge that that man could come help shed a little light with, you've got your light guy, and then you've got your breeder who's also a soil guy, and then you get into your resin guy, I mean I've never met a guy more than Sam who is a full spectrum metaphorically from the seed to the resin head.

BubblemanThe guy is just, I would consider him an expert on all those fronts. And not only the seeds he's planting he didn't buy, of course he collected in all the world producing hashish countries that he just happened to spend time in to collect those seeds. So Hats off to him. I hope we get him in here one day and I know that with more people like Brad and Mark coming in and sharing solid good information that we will see him come in one day and share some knowledge with us.

BubblemanEveryone's doing this head thing. I like that. OG over here.

SpeakerAll bobbing heads. I'm just about to do that right now again.

BubblemanExcellent. I can't believe I haven't been chronically puffing this entire time, but I just don't feel like cleaning my pipe to take it to Jamaica, and it's so clean over there right now that my trippy stick died, so maybe I'll just eat a gram of hash.

SpeakerYeah, those heaters. This one's for you. Those heater elements don't last long.

BubblemanWell, you know what? It's true. The Apex pen, I guess what Bird did is he just took a much thicker piece of titanium and it's like five heaters on one. I haven't killed one of those yet and the battery lasts for five days, but on the sidestep, the thing gives hits like you just took a dab. So if you're trying to be like chill and quiet and like, oh, you're at the airport taking a, you will heat yourself out with an Apex pen.

BubblemanIt literally blows out dabs like the dab that you just blew out. Nice. Is that a little spark or what do we got there?

SpeakerOh yeah. This is from a glass blower back east and I believe in Connecticut or Rhode Island area. Sorry if I got it wrong, guy. But I like these rigs because they go straight to the dome. They're the hardest hitting rigs out there. There's another guy here in Colorado, Josh Caliber. He does the sharpshooters. I had bought a dozen of those and I gave them out as gifts to friends of mine.

SpeakerMark, you got another one coming your way too. You know how it is. If you're going to smoke hash, you've got to smoke it right. Fastest way with the least amount of water.

BubblemanI agree. I just picked up a mothership fab egg, and I can tell you out of all the pipes I've ever hit, and I cannot believe how perfect this pipe hits. They put a lot of thought into that thing.

SpeakerMy wife has one of those. The Berkeley one. How much did that go for, Mark? How much did what go for? How much did that egg go for?

BubblemanI could sell it for $4,000 or $5,000, but I picked it up for just under $3,000.

SpeakerAwesome deal.

SpeakerThere it is right there.

BubblemanIt's a real nice one, but I don't know how people are paying these prices. It's definitely art form-ish, and it hits unlike any other pipe I have.

SpeakerThat's beautiful work.

BubblemanYeah, Scott Depp is from another planet.

SpeakerIs it difficult to clean or is it easy to clean?

BubblemanVery easy to clean. It does have a dome inside here, right on top. I'm not sure if you guys can see that. There's a dome and you can actually see I can put my finger up inside the pipe through the hole. It's totally hollow. But that dome right on top here, man, does the reclaim collect on that thing. Like that's almost an amazing idea if you wanted to collect that shit to create some sort of, it just drips down off of this dome and collects in these little I clean it every day though, so.

BubblemanSmells clean as a whistle.

SpeakerYeah, with this little one, you have to clean it about every 12 hours.

BubblemanYeah, the little ones are pretty wicked how fast they dirty up, aren't they?

SpeakerBut they're worth it.

BubblemanThey are worth it. That's why you buy a beautiful one. What's your preferred dab, Brad? Are you an Earl, BHO, Iso, Ether, Alcohol, Hash, Dry Sift, Wet Wash, everything?

SpeakerI pretty much hit everything. Around here it's pretty much BHO extract. Very few guys are doing bubble. It's very rare to get bubble, to be honest around here, because it's much easier for everyone to blast, everyone's blasting, and they have ovens. It's like the oven king capital of the world, it seems. I'm not speaking literally, but it just seems that way. Because everywhere I go, everyone has vac ovens.

BubblemanYep. No, I hear you. They're ordering them up like they're socks, a $5,000 vac oven. They're Skittles. Yeah, they're like Skittles. Yeah, I need some more of those. I need another vac oven. Yeah, Kay from Tricom Technology was talking about that a little bit a couple weeks ago as well as he was one of the popular, he popularized those ovens. He really like started using them and turned people on in California to them and then he helped redesign it for the company and I guess now he's trying to create his cold trap terpene capturer that is going to be a piece that goes onto these ovens apparently because obviously when you vac your material you're losing terpenes whether you believe it or not.

SpeakerWell, I don't understand why no one has developed a vac oven that actually takes vacuum into the calculation when it heats up or cools the plates underneath the hash as the vacuum's dropping in bars. Yeah, that would make very good sense, the cooling plate. I mean, in reality, as you drop negative bars in vacuum, you're going to easily boil that material off. And in semiconductor chips, you have to cool the chip plate sometimes to administer some of the sprays over the semiconductors.

BubblemanI just mechanically separate my heads with screens. They melt and they dab and they taste exactly the way they're supposed to. No one can say that any terpenes have been lost because they don't expose it to water or any chemical solvents. And I got to tell you, I really feel that that full melt dry sift is the holy grail, particularly when I find that most people don't have it or access to it.

SpeakerOh, I agree.

BubblemanYeah. Why don't we have it?

SpeakerWhy don't we have it? Because they can't do it in large volumes that well.

BubblemanI think a more accurate way of saying it is because it's not prohibition-based.

SpeakerIt's not prohibition-based.

BubblemanNot prohibition-based. The prohibition-based profit margin of oil has so helped popularize. That's why the back ovens are Skittles. Because they've, in all of this sort of medical thing where profit margins dropped through the bottom, they found a new profit margin in oil. They can take a bud, you know, any type of bud, whether it's the killer or whether it's the sub-killer, or maybe it's bud that wasn't flushed, and they just spray it and turn it into oil.

BubblemanIt's a I wonder if John Davis had any idea what he was doing when he released this method. I don't know if you guys are familiar with John Davis. He went under the name Indra in May of 99 and he went online and he posted the butane method. He in fact holds a patent on hydrocarbon extraction using butane with a particular plant. He also has a patent on cryogenics, which is...

BubblemanHe's very secretive about it, but he's talked about this process with me. I, of course, get all these people telling me, like they've been approaching me for 15 plus years, telling me they have the most amazing extraction invention and that, you know, it's going to put me out of business. But when I listened to him, I kind of had some I was like, this guy, I think he's talented.

BubblemanHe sort of was like, oh, I did the butane thing and blah, blah, blah, and I kind of checked that out and was like, no, no, he did definitely do that. And then I remember him saying, yeah, in 99, I was in Amsterdam with my friend Steve, and I'm like, Steve, I know Steve. He's talking about the nose troupe, Steve Dumac, for those of you that don't know.

BubblemanThe nose, a long time Amsterdam liver. And so, really wild guy. And so I was at his house one day in 99. This was literally the year that I started bubble bags. And he had this hash. And it was like weird, gummy, crazy hash. And it was actually, it was John Davis had gone to his house and blasted a little bit of butane. And he actually did it through a pen back then.

BubblemanThrough the body of a pen. Like blasted some butane through this fucking pen. And it was Neville's Haze Bud. Then he cooked that and he mixed it with Neville's Haze Full Melt Dry Sift. And he had just like five grams of it. My friend Fred had a gram of it and he basically was killing everyone with it. So I was like, I'm going to find out what this shit's all about.

BubblemanI went to Steve's and I grabbed a gram of it. Well, I couldn't even finish this gram. I remember leaving Amsterdam that year. It was like three days later and I dropped it with Mila. Because I still had a relationship with her at the time, and I was like, here, you've got to take this. It's really strong, and I've never had anything like it. So that's how I knew that this guy who was contacting me was a real person, because I had already had an interaction with him, and the interaction that I had with him, or at least his resin that he made, was that it was extremely, extremely strong.

BubblemanI'm talking 1999, before anyone was really... I mean, sure, there was cherry oil, and there were these different kind of... Thank you for watching.

BubblemanHe wishes that he never showed the world how to do it. He believes the heavy metal mercaptans that are present in all butane, even 99.999% like lab-grade butane, you can clean this fucking mystery oil out of it.

SpeakerThat's absolutely right.

BubblemanYeah, it's correct. Yeah, it's correct. I mean, I'm not making this shit up, and Mark is back in here.

SpeakerThat's how Gerald Garrison, that's how Gerald Garrison from SunPulse feels about introducing You know, 400, 600,000 watt HPS to the world in a mogul base. Wow. Interesting.

BubblemanSo yeah, I found out about his process, the cryogenic process, which is, if you can imagine, true cryogenics. He claims he gets 100% extraction, which is like unheard of in the world of chemistry, and he gets... Zero footprint, which is also very unheard of, to have zero footprint with an extraction process. And you can do the whole process in under 10 seconds.

Speaker100% yield, no such thing.

BubblemanExactly. So he said, when he tests anything, he says, and you send it to the labs, they're going to think their shit is broken because they're going to get higher readings than they've ever gotten. So I was like, oh, this guy's just so full of shit. I couldn't test his thing because he's in America and I'm in Canada. So what I did was I said, well, if you have a cryogenic method, you should be able to defat hemp seed oil with no problems.

BubblemanAnd he was like, absolutely. So I sent him a kilo of hemp seed, de-hauled hemp seed that I bought in his state at the grocery store from my ex-partner's Manitoba Harvest. It was Manitoba hemp seed. And he took this hemp seed and he ran it through his cryo method. I wasn't there. I didn't see pictures, but this is what he told me. And then he sent me back the kilo of de-hauled hemp seed.

BubblemanAnd it was totally surreal because I'm very well versed in the world of hemp and cold pressing and seed oil. And I was a hemp activist in the 90s. I got hemp growing in my province with my four partners for the first time in 73 years. I know about hemp. So this guy sends me back de-hulled hemp seed that looks exactly as it did before he de-fatted it.

BubblemanIt has not been crushed or destroyed. The embryos are all intact, except they're white. And so I take that to the lab and I get it tested back at 62% protein powder isolate. Compared to the highest protein powder isolate available by a company that sells it on the market, it was 12% higher. So that was amazing. It made my friends shit their pants when I told them about it, who owned the company.

BubblemanThen I opened the oil bottle, and now, Mark, you would appreciate this. The oil vial, it was a big vial. It was totally like came out of a lab. One of those bottles that hooks up to a machine that you get the shit put in, and then it seals itself, so no oxygen or light. You know what I'm talking about. Really, like, I looked at this bottle, and I thought, holy fuck, like, this guy's for real.

BubblemanI opened the bottle, I poured it out into a glass, and it is gold. Okay? Gold. And now, not gold because it was run through carbon, because I had it all tested and the oil was unbelievably pure. It was gold because of the cold temperatures that he's using. He's not creating cold press as a misnomer. And when you squeeze those cakes of seed, you actually produce heat, and that heat taints, I don't know if it releases the chlorophyll, but it taints the oil and it turns it green.

BubblemanSo I knew that the guy was legit. So that's a person to watch for in this world. I'm sure we're going to see him. Last I heard, he had gained a Bertola olive oil contract with his cryo method, beating out several dozen pressers from Europe. He has contracts with Ricola in Switzerland and French perfumery companies. So this guy's on like, he's definitely on another level when it comes to his extractions.

BubblemanAnd I look forward to one day hoping That we can see this cryogenic extraction process done on cannabis without it being a big secret, but with all of us being able to sort of have an understanding. I think the problem with the secrets, which is the problem with business, is we all want to protect our interests and our business interests, and unfortunately what that does is it stunts the growth of our manifestations.

BubblemanSo you want to have a manifestation that is huge and you want your business to be huge and you want to blow away the world and do all these great things, well, then you better share your information because there's a lot of people out there that their little two cents on top of your 98 cents makes a dollar.

BubblemanOh, welcome back, Samantha. You're having a little bit of problems, are you? You're in and out, you're in and out. How are things going with Samantha? I'm not sure if Brad and Mark have met Samantha before, but you should meet Samantha because she's awesome, one of our cannabis warriors.

BubblemanA cannabis warrior with a different... I love the sort of women and children aspect of coming into cannabis and creating a new face of cannabis and cannabis activism because it's no... Big surprise that the cannabis scene up until the last, you know, several years really has been an absolute sausage party. And I can attest, I'm at all the cups, I'm at all the events, and dudes are into this.

BubblemanYou know, it's the guys that are really into this female cannabis plant energy. It's quite funny, these guys are all puffing while I'm not puffing.

BubblemanAwesome dude watching.

StebarHave you guys seen this cannabis infused product for women's pleasure?

StebarI heard it burned. I just heard that was more of a fly-by-night garage setup that came and went. I didn't know it actually went to clinical trials.

StebarBut Mark, before we drift off onto another subject, on the hashtag where we had David Allen, we were talking about the, he was hoping for, you know, a hypodermic spray, something like, he was like, well, you know, when we're in surgery, what if we could be able to administer directly to the muscle tissue that we're working with the correct cannabinoids, and, you know, he was drumming at the question, you know, it would have to be something water-based, and I had known about THC acetate, and This, that, the production was out of the common man's hands, but, you know, we see in the news, like you sent me the PDF, that cannabinoid Easter constitutes, like basically this is high-end medicine coming up, and is that going to be completely driven by the pharmaceutical industry and something we just have to sit back and watch happen, or is it something a guy like you could get pissed off in Develop a system.

StebarBasically, is there any way for it to be safe or is it always going to be completely out of our hands? We don't really know what they used. We just know that a governing body cleared it. So it's a safe product.

SpeakerYeah, so I think when we were out at Seattle Cup, man, we got a bunch of these samples. I'm sure you guys have seen these. I'm just going to pull a few out. Oh, they're called Mary's Medicinals. You guys know these guys, right? These transdermal patches, they have a CBD flavor, they got a Teva flavor, I mean, all kinds of stuff. And as it turns out, you know, I mean, there's nothing magic about their formulation.

SpeakerAnd certainly all drugs which are, or I should say all molecules which are fat soluble can be absorbed into the skin. So transdermal and sublingual and any absorption through the skin, cannabinoids are ideally set up to do that.

SpeakerI love science.

StebarWell, it's, because we, I mean, I brought it up with Tony. We were talking about greening out and, like, how could you give somebody who's about to run to the ambulance at a concert and pretty much bring down a bunch of noise, what kind of acute either, you know, cream, vaporizable product. I just, I remember I tried making a topical, which was a high dose of Arnica mixed with, you know, coconut oil and...

StebarOne other ingredient, like the shea butter. And it didn't... I was trying to deal with Naraja, which was John's... It was kind of a floating pain that's extremely...

StebarAnd I kept wondering, is an acetate, like basically, is it going to be a chemical product that is even beyond my ability to make that's really going to work for, through the skin, or do we have a chance to work through natural fats and create a product of equal power?

SpeakerYeah, I mean, I think, again, on a comment on that post, it would be really interesting Totally a leap in science to be able to clone the ester synthase into the cannabis genome and actually convert THC, A, THC acid and CBD acid directly into the esters in the trichome itself so you don't have to do a chemical manipulation on isolated essential oil. And I think the wonderful thing about that is it provides an opportunity to get the acids through the blood-brain barrier, which right now I don't think that there's a strategy to do drug delivery of cannabinoid acids through the blood-brain barrier.

StebarThat's amazing. That is more amazing than what I was thinking about. Because I was like, it doesn't seem like we have a real strategy to produce this product. And when the pharmaceutical companies produce it, it's always going to come with the side effect that defeated the purpose. But that is really amazing. That would be the first real master step. That's what I was looking at. Can't we Thank you so much for joining us.

SpeakerAll of these are an acid and an alcohol, so things like methanol or ethanol would make methyl esters or ethyl esters. Those esters are covered, I think, underneath the Mishulam and El Soli patents, which I think, actually, the Mishulam patent has already expired, but I think the El Soli patent, I mean, it's just, it's a bunch of crap. They really would be a real interesting class of molecules to study in form of like a tincture.

SpeakerSo when you have like an alcohol tincture, there's alcohol and there's cannabinoid acids in there if you haven't decarboxylated. The question is could you use like an enzyme or could you use just simply a small little amount of a catalyst to essentially couple the alcohol to the acid to actually make that ester bond? Yeah, that would be pretty cool. And you can imagine that, again, you could use a variety of different alcohols.

SpeakerIt need not be methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol. You could use a much larger alcohol like the terpene alcohols described either in the El Soli paper or in the earlier Mishulam patents. But I think when Mishulam made those compounds, I think what he was looking to do was just Thank you so much for joining us today. We'll be right back.

SpeakerThank you for joining us.

StebarBrad, would you figure that the stimulation of that esters with that, because in my mind I can see how the grapes that produce the unique alcohols are grown, I look at, I focus more on the soil than the light, but would there be ways of light manipulation, because certain terpenes are more alcohol based, so could we manipulate a plant to almost produce a pure alcohol terpene profile?

SpeakerYeah. Just by reducing just light intensity stress itself, the key is to, on a plant really, is to keep it happy. You keep the tenants happy, they produce everything the plant needs to survive. So if you can keep the root zone happy, in the right temperature zone, you keep the right humidity going, you keep the right amount of Air exchange in the room for the monatomic CO2 that's naturally already been scrubbed by nature for the plant to absorb.

SpeakerAnd it's all about molecule size, you know. In reality, I know it's all, everything comes in a gaseous state, but those gaseous states have different size molecules. And it's what the plant has evolved to. So that's what you want to feed it more of, is what's already been scrubbed. Most CO2 methods on the market today is like putting your head in a toilet and then breathing down the last bit of oxygen that's available and the water represents the CO2 that's being injected into the room.

SpeakerMost universities are now finding in greenhouses where they controlled root temperatures more and did more air exchanges with Controlled air coming in and out with zero use of CO2 had equal, if not small, 2-3% gains in most food crops in greenhouses. And this has been done in the last 10 years. A lot of studies out of Hawaii. You can see some stuff out of Berkeley. I mean, the CO2 method, now that they fully understand what the quantity of creatures on Earth they're trying to grow, man, it's We've gotten smarter, has evolved, has broadened his thought process.

SpeakerHey, everybody. I'd like to introduce my son, Jake. Jake, come here, buddy. Take a hit of the pen, buddy. My son, Jake, a future cannabis church or hash church member. Nice. Welcome, Jake. Hi.

BubblemanI just had a son about five months ago.

SpeakerCongratulations. I had him about 17 years ago.

BubblemanNice. I got a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old as well.

SpeakerHe's got his bros downstairs and they're waiting for the torch, so he's got to go.

BubblemanHe's just like, whatever, making his appearance.

SpeakerThey're all waiting for the torch downstairs. All right, get the fuck out of here. All right, Bob. Go dab, Bob. The old saying, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

BubblemanWhich is a misnomer as well, genetically. If you've ever read David, no, Michael Pollan wrote a really great book. I'm not sure if he wrote about it in The Omnivore's Dilemma or if he wrote about it in The Botany of Desire. I think it was The Botany of Desire, but that's an interesting sentence because apparently apples fall about as far genetically as they could from the tree.

BubblemanI.e. the seed. Just an interesting little thing I remember.

SpeakerLike to be completely different?

BubblemanYeah, like super different, dude. That's why they graft. That's why apples are all like cuts, right? They breed them and then they use grafts and stuff. They don't plant seeds to go plant an orchard. Those seeds would all be different from one tree.

SpeakerImagine that. Nature changed a way so they don't all get inbred. Yep, imagine that. Unbelievable. Yep, just like all seed-bearing crops. Mm-hmm.

BubblemanYeah, I'm worried about feminized seeds. I'm worried about seeds that are trying to, like, muck with nature. Oh, yeah, right? A little bit. But then again, you know, I get into the Terrence McKenna days where Terrence questioned whether or not we are nature or whether or not we are outside of nature. Are we the aliens?

SpeakerCould be the experiment. Could be the experiment. That's pretty fucking deep, Mark. That's fucking deep. That's at the depths that we're at right here. That's the depths.

BubblemanWell, you know, at Hash Church, every once in a while you've got to drop some Terrence McKenna. And so my favorite Terrence McKenna quote ever, in regards to psilocybin and psilocin, he says, these molecules do not bathe the ego in a cloud of certitude. Thank you for that, Terrence.

BubblemanShit, I got to fly in a couple of hours, so Hash Church will last for maybe just a little bit longer, and then we'll have to call off the day.

SpeakerI was going to ask you, Brad, when you were talking about root zone temperature, what were the temperatures that they were more or less looking at? I'm only feet at 63. I've always kept my root zone temperatures at 63 when watering or feeding. What's your thoughts around that? I guess it all really depends on the medium you're using. It sounds like you're, what, all hydro? I just use Pro-Mix, just, you know, it's an easy soil system.

SpeakerLike, for me, I run Pro-Mix HP myself, and I tend to run my root zone temperatures, not watering temperatures. My watering temperatures, I like to do about 68 degrees. And in my root zone temperatures, I let them fluctuate up into the 70s. Just like nature would. If you go out and put a thermometer in the ground within the first two feet of the surface, you're going to have fluctuations up into the 70s.

SpeakerSo would we be looking at maybe like root zone temperatures may be strange where sativas are more in hotter environments or maybe indicas are cooler zones? Any thoughts on that? No. I just believe it's old hippie-ism. They knew that when they were killing off bacteria in the root zone, the first attempt was drop the temperatures in the root zone dramatically because it will kill off almost everything or slow it down to anything.

SpeakerAnd the planets of growth wise, the planet itself will still outgrow the bacteria at that temperature because they knew that after the first five years of running HPS, That bacteria and fungus, most importantly fungus, was dying in the root zone because there wasn't a full spectral energy. And then you started seeing guys starting to pump more color into their HPS to try and offset this. What I'm hearing from you is that now if I'm getting into the LED light and going into full spectrum that I'd probably want to bring that temperature up because I'd be, or bring it up a little bit.

SpeakerYeah, I'm just listening to how. Correct. What any lover wanted, see the whole, if you go back and go through all the old forms before OG got popped and even after that when it rolled in like some of it over spilled and it rolled up and some of the other forms over seized. You would start to see that guys were starting to drop their root zone temperatures when they started increasing the bulb temperature in the room.

SpeakerThe thought process of increasing bulb temperatures was to increase room temperatures without adding other means to increase room root zone temperature happiness. They thought they can do it from a single source above. Yes.

SpeakerWhich is wrong. Because we now know, 20 years later, plants shut down at full sun.

SpeakerAnd we also know now that the sun's energy hits the earth measured in picohertz, not lumes, lux, pars, or PPFD. Picohertz. Measured in sound. Measured in sound. Great. Yeah, so now I mean that's because I'm getting more into the LED full spectrum And I'm growing old school. Like I used to make my hash with a drill and a big blender. Now I agitate it. It's learning these steps because I have... That's when I met John.

SpeakerAnd then, yeah, exactly. So, I mean, it's just more steps learning as I progress because it's something that I'm always been doing. So, I mean, now that I'm looking at root zone temperatures and what the LED and what you're explaining it to me and what we've done old school way is actually maybe now that's just, it makes more sense to me, right? So, thank you very much.

SpeakerI really wanted to ask you that question. So, you really answered it honorably. Here's something even more. The reason why they introduce CO2 to the room is so the plant fights for what little oxygen is left in the room that it can uptake. So all they're really doing by introducing man-made CO2 in is removing the available amount of CO2 or carbon that's available naturally in the oxygen.

SpeakerBut I run a completely sealed room, so I have to do some type of CO2 at one point. At night I vent everything out because I don't want any CO2 at night. Well, why not just run the CO2 that's natural there? So just leave the room completely sealed, don't run CO2? Well, if you're going to run completely sealed, you've got to figure out a way to... I like to run my oxygen coming in through water filters.

SpeakerInteresting. And then you run into the sealed room. Of course, you're going to have to set up the water filters to be able to get in and scavenge out all the garbage that comes in, but the best filter in the world is a nice five-gallon bucket stacked upon another five-gallon bucket bubbling through. I even do this with tents here with breeding projects that I do because I can breed different strains in different tents and intake and outtake air is through bubble buckets.

SpeakerThat's awesome, Brad.

BubblemanNo sense to bubble, man, but that's what I mean. I bubble it through water. Yeah, no, that's... Dude, one of the best growers I ever met in my life who had been growing for 40 years and knew Sam the Skunk Man and all those guys, when he lived in Amsterdam 35 years ago, a guy by the name of Cheech showed him this method, and he does it both for the intake and the outtake, and he finds on his outtake it's unbelievable.

BubblemanHe uses a 55-gallon drum. Of course, it's a big grow. Yeah. But the air comes out clean and you should smell the terpene rich water.

SpeakerYeah, that's the output side is the one I hate cleaning. It's just so, it gets all over you. The stench is unbelievable and you just get ripped. Like unbelievably just ate a dozen hundred milligram full active oil edibles.

BubblemanYep, the Cheechamatic. That's cool that you just brought that up, dude. I've never heard anyone else talk about that.

SpeakerThat's really cool. Yeah, I've been doing it for 20 years. When I was showing a method a long time ago on the hills in Cali.

BubblemanVery cool. Gotta love how this good information gets passed from people to people. It's a neat history to be able to kind of follow through backwards. I heard you mention earlier Overgrow and some of those sites. That was... That was quite a jump for the cannabis community when Overgrow became a reality, you know, I guess in 99 or so, 98 maybe, 99? Yeah, yeah.

SpeakerTwo good times. Yeah, it was interesting when it fell too.

BubblemanYeah, I mean, I had a funny idea that it was going to fall because I remember I met the creator of Overgrow. His name was Shebang. Kid totally knew how to write code. He really knew how to write code. He did not know how to grow wheat. So he convinced me at one point to introduce, I don't do this at all anymore, but he convinced me, oh, you know, introduce me to a few people, and so I did.

BubblemanI introduced him to a few people the way I do. I shined the light on him, and they liked it. They were like moths on the light. Well, they put this guy in a 35-light show, and he, what did he get? He got 11 pounds the first time. Nine pounds the second time and then chased out of the country the third time. And it was at that point where I was like, Overgrow does not have the good foundation I thought it had.

SpeakerNo. There was good guys in there though that were around.

BubblemanIt was amazing. Amazing.

SpeakerYeah. Kind of like Roll It Up is or was way back when it first started.

BubblemanYeah, it's just a matter of finding the gems, you know. It's the problem with finding a gem is I go back to David Suzuki who's talking about his Nature of Things TV show and he was like, you know, I was convinced I was going to go on cable TV and become the gem and what I quickly learned was when you jump into a cesspool you quickly take on the appearance of everything else in the cesspool whether you're a gem or not.

SpeakerThat or you get kicked to the curb.

BubblemanThat or you get kicked to the curb, exactly. It's One or the other. Interesting. Oh, shout out to D420K who's driving through Cache Creek right now and trying to watch Hash Church on his phone. Peace, brother.

SpeakerPeace, brother. Safe trip.

BubblemanSafe travels. All right. Well, you know what? I would love to do this For three more hours and I really want to thank everyone that came out today. Obviously Brad and Mark. Thank you for raising the levels of Hash Church. This is what it's all about. We want to get into a deeper depth and we want to invite people that have a deeper knowledge. I am well in the understanding that I have not the deepest understanding of all these things but I am a bit of a facilitator.

BubblemanI have a little bit of traction on YouTube so I'm able to create this little channel and bring in people Like yourselves that are, and I think it's just great, and it's really, you know, there's 360 people listening to this right now. 10,000 people will watch this in the next 7 to 10 days. And just thank you guys. If you guys want to all do a real quick breakdown on where we can find you guys, we'll start with Brad.

BubblemanYou can name off your company name, your Twitter, whatever you want. We'll go Brad, True, Horatio, John, Mark, Sam, and we'll finish Hash Church. Go ahead, Brad.

SpeakerCurrently, we're revamping the website, but I'm the owner of Endomax. My wife and I are, and we're on Facebook as Endomax with two X's at the end, or Brad Higgins on Facebook. Just look for the Spectral Energy Chart as the namesake, and that'll be me. And if you look back through the history... We've got over four years of research and growing before we actually decided to grow into the hobby hydroponic market.

SpeakerVery good. The parent company that I'm actually vice president of sales of, which is Summit Lighting, that product line has actually been in universities and is currently going in all the new university studies down in southern Colorado for the new hemp grows that are backed by the University of Mississippi.

BubblemanOh, very, very, very good. Excellent. Well, thank you, Brad. Great quality guest on Hash Church. I know that we all learned a lot of good information about, you know, John's been talking about the LED light. He just doesn't quite have the ability to get that in-depth knowledge like what you just shared, so it was great to hear a deeper version of what John's been saying with a deeper understanding, and I'm sure we're only going to find out more awesome things in the future from all of you guys.

SpeakerOne of the biggest things that most people should think about lighting is not only do you need full energy with all the spectral energy, think of it like mids and tweeds in the car audio or home audio, the HPS is the subwoofer. You don't need a lot of bass to make a full sound sound good, but you do need that intensity of bass to rock the house.

SpeakerThe low end. Correct. You don't need a lot... But you need just enough to fill it in. And that's where most people lack the knowledge of filling in the full broad spectrum with lower wattage. It's all about spectrum and energy of spectrum versus wattage. And thanks to LED guys over the last 20 years, they proved it to us. They went up the full match AID and then they're backing back down by adding more spectral energy.

SpeakerAnd that's where ceramic metal highlights come in. With the single jacket ceramic metal halide, it represents 42% of the spectral energy at 300 watts.

BubblemanHey, welcome Mr. DNA, showing up nice and late for Hash Church.

MrAaron. What up? What do you mean late?

SpeakerLike I'm 11 minutes in.

BubblemanHe's like, it just started, dude. I'm like, we're just ending here in the next 10, 15 minutes. But I'm glad that you came in to say hello, Mr. Aaron from DNA Genetics representing.

MrWhat's happening, people? Sorry I'm like three hours late.

BubblemanBrad was just giving us a really beautiful lowdown on LED light technology. From my perspective... One that is actually valid, I've just been watching people talk about LED lights and it just sounds like they're talking out their ass. You see it on Facebook and you see it all over the place. So Brad came in and just laid it out for us, which was really nice. He gave us some really in-depth knowledge of LED and kind of gave us some new lingo to I'm sure some people are Googling and learning as I talk right now.

BubblemanAnd then we had Mark come in as well, Mr. Chemist. He came in and dropped some really beautiful knowledge along with Horatio. Yeah, it's been great, dude. I'm obviously at the airport flying to Jamaica in a little bit here. I was looking at the clock and I've got my Vancouver time. I'm like, oh, it's only 9.12. And then I looked and I was like, man, it's quarter afternoon.

BubblemanYou fly out of here soon. What are you fucking doing? We should probably get going here soon, but I did want to go through the group. Brad spoke. If True wants to tell everyone where we can find him at?

SpeakerYeah, if you want to find out anything about what's going on with True Cannagenetics or OCD Labs, you can find me on Facebook, True Cannagenetics, and also on Instagram, True Cannabliss and Ramon underscore OCD Labs.

BubblemanAwesome.

SpeakerFollow us.

BubblemanAwesome. Thanks, brother. Thanks, brother.

SpeakerWhile I remember, a quick shout out to Fino Finder Seeds, who won a first place for From Oz Blue at the THC Valencia yesterday. So shout out to them for picking up that.

BubblemanCongratulations on that.

SpeakerI saw Ramon posted it.

BubblemanAnd welcome, Rick, Freed DeLisi, and Ramon.

SpeakerNice to see you guys. Just wanted to say goodbye.

BubblemanI know, we're just finishing it off. We're going to go through the group. We'll go through the group and we'll finish off with Aaron and Rick can talk a little bit about where we can find their information. Horatio, you want to tell everyone where they can find you at?

StebarWell, on Facebook you can find me at Horatio Delbert, if you can spell it. It's H-O-R-A-T-I-O.

BubblemanIt shows up in your box.

StebarOh, I never knew if that was on screen. On Instagram, it's HDC underscore LHO.

BubblemanLHO, right.

StebarThat's where I post and discuss with people if they've got questions and stuff like that.

BubblemanAwesome. Johnny B., where can they find you?

SpeakerWell, always on Facebook, just John H. Perfello. You can also grab me on YouTube, same thing, John H. Perfello. Instagram, 420 Weedmaster. So those are my main contacts. And of course, for Medtainer, Medtainer Canada, go there. And iGreen Planet Store Limited. So there's a few ways of contacting me.

BubblemanYou can find me pretty much anywhere and I answer back quite quickly. Yes, you do. You're quicker than quick, dude. Holy shit.

SpeakerYou know what? I just love sharing the knowledge. So, you know what? Facebook is the best way to get a hold of me when it comes to dealing with any kind of amino acid questions and stuff like that so I can send you links. So, that's more than my main contact. It's just easier to get the information for me following it through the social media. So, that's just a good place.

SpeakerAnd, of course, the YouTube channel for just the information on the LED growing and my MediPlus growing and Decarboxylating and everything else that I'm doing just to share the love.

BubblemanBeautiful, Johnny B. Thanks. How about Mark? How can we find Mark?

SpeakerWell, let's see. Let me show you this cute little logo we got here. This is the Jason Pinsky Design Canistract logo. It shows the leaf falling into a little droplet there.

BubblemanYes.

SpeakerJason and I are trying to bring more science into the cannabis industry. We're planning an eight-day field trip in Colorado here in a couple weeks to go visit my friend Brad and a bunch of others in Colorado. And stay tuned. You'll be hearing lots of stuff from us. I'm Mark Sheldon, S-C-I-A-L-D-O-N-E, a PhD organic chemist. You can find me on Facebook.

BubblemanAwesome. Thank you, Mark. And Samantha. What about Samantha? You must have some good places for us to get in touch with you now. I've hoped that you started a YouTube channel.

SpeakerYes, you can find me on Facebook, Samantha Elvey, and my blogspot, which is samantherelvey.blogspot.com. That's where my blog is at. And yes, YouTube channel is up and running, but we've got a video camera and things like that. Everything is happening. So hopefully in the not-too-distant future, you should be hearing a lot from us, which will be good. Very exciting times ahead for us, definitely.

BubblemanVery cool, very cool. I appreciate the quiver of people in here. I appreciate the breeders and the growers and the extractors, the patients and the chemists. It's just a really amazing group of people and I just want to thank you guys for making Hash Church what it is. We have Rick. Rick DeLisi is going to tell us about the injustices of his father and how we can help With helping free Delisi.

BubblemanOh, you're muted. We don't hear you, brother. You got audio difficulties, technical difficulties. We'll get you up. We'll get you up. So Rick's father is currently serving a... Oh, there we go.

SpeakerCan you hear me?

BubblemanYou bet, brother.

SpeakerAll right, well, my pops is currently serving a 98-year sentence sentence. For cannabis related charges, non-violent charges for smuggling, trafficking cannabis in Florida, Polk County. And yeah, the way we can support and try to raise awareness for this is to go to fredelisi.com and scroll down and click the petition and sign the petition. That's basically all I'm trying to do right now is just make waves so the governor, Rick Scott, can do something for my father because it's not a federal case, it's a state case.

SpeakerSo if it's not really taken into charge by the state, nobody's going to profit from the situation.

MrAnd write to the governor and tell him.

SpeakerAs many people that can write to the governor also, Rick Scott, pretty much that's it. But the petition is the main thing that I'm trying to do just to get like at least 50,000 to 100,000 signatures on there so I could really Then presented to this guy.

BubblemanI'm sure you guys don't need the extra added insult to injury to feel the pain that Rick and his family are going through. He's been incarcerated since 1989. Yeah, and since he's been in jail, murders, rapists, and even pedophiles have come into the jail and left the jail free men. So, moving shit forward, but at the same time, things aren't moving forward and I just think it's important for the full spectrum of our experience to be experienced and freeing Delisi as part of that experience.

SpeakerThank you for letting me voice that to everybody, man.

BubblemanOf course, man, every time, every church, we mention it every fucking time, and we'll get people to mention it, and it's just, we can sit here and be all excited about the future, but not while people that we love and know are rotting away in prison for cannabis. No one should be in prison for cannabis.

SpeakerNo prior violent charges, nothing, just cannabis. Can I ask a quick question? Who's his attorney, and do you need a cannabis attorney? We do need a cannabis attorney. Right now I'm having some help from my friends at high times, and I'm supposed to be able to have quite a good attorney, but any help is needed because the only thing that can actually happen is someone can break the case in a way because my uncle's already been released for the same charge.

SpeakerThey dropped the RICO charge on my uncle's conviction, so if that could happen also for my father, he'd already be free because my uncle was freed in February two years ago. So yeah, any attorney would help. But Matt's supposedly going to help out with that in some way. And the high times want to do a story or maybe we'll see what happens. But I'm not in a place to say no to any help right now.

SpeakerTrue. Got my door one second.

BubblemanAaron, did you want to give a little lowdown quick, Aaron, and tell everyone where they can find DNA genetics? And I'm going to go answer my door.

MrSure. First, I'd like to say congratulations to True and his group for their recent successes in their wins.

SpeakerThank you, brother. Big up, Aaron.

MrYou know, I'd like to say what's up to Mark. You're looking all camouflaged today. Getting ready to go hide in some bushes, I see.

MrJohn, you're looking pretty with your new haircut.

SpeakerBless up the Ash Church.

BubblemanYes.

SpeakerBless up the Ash Church.

BubblemanClaude wants to bless up the Hash Church, so he says bless up the Hash Church to all of you. Bless it, brother.

SpeakerBless it. Bless up. Bless up. Bless up. I wish I was there with you, my brother. That's Johnny. Yeah. Hey, Johnny. Hey. What's up, brother? What's up, brother? Be seeing you next month. Yeah, most definitely.

BubblemanYes. Most definitely.

SpeakerMost definitely, most definitely. I see you next month for real. Yes, for real. Hopefully, well, you know, I got some surgery coming up, so you know what, hopefully sooner than later, but I'll definitely be there as soon as I can. Mark will fill you in a little bit more on what's going on.

BubblemanYeah, I'll tell him up.

SpeakerOkay, blood. Nice seeing you all. Nice seeing you all. Full giant arrest on the Hush Church, you know?

BubblemanYes, I've got to sign off, guys. I'm going to stop the broadcast, but man, what an incredible group of people in here. You guys are welcome to chat among yourselves for as long as you want. It will stop broadcasting for the YouTube, so the 320 people that are watching will no longer see it, and it won't be recorded, but by all means, stick around and have a conversation with each other.

BubblemanYou guys are awesome people.

SpeakerPeace to the public. To the coalition, you guys. Coalition Against Repeal, State of Our Gardens here in Canada. We've got a major court case happening February 23rd. We've got Supreme Court of Canada on the bench. So there's another support group, guys. Pretty sick, actually. Check out the Richie Spice. Richie! Oh, yeah.

BubblemanHe's been picking you up a lot.

SpeakerVery cool.

BubblemanAll right, blessed love, everybody. I will see you next time from Jamaica. Sweet trips.

SpeakerBig up. Big up. Have a good time in Jamaica.
